1-Star Review -- Completely Unacceptable Customer Service…read more This is the first negative review I have ever written for this location. The last several visits have been disappointing, but I deliberately chose not to write a bad review because I don't like putting that kind of negativity or bad karma out into the world. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. This time, however, the treatment was so blatant, disrespectful, and unacceptable that I felt I had no choice. I pulled in because I was instructed to pull in. Nobody greeted me. Nobody asked what I needed. Nobody even acknowledged me. They had me open my hood before I had even been asked what service I wanted, and then they made me sit there and wait again. If they were busy, all they had to say was, "We're really busy right now. We'll be right with you." I would have completely understood. Instead, they said nothing. I was simply left sitting there with no communication whatsoever. When the employee finally came over, I explained that no one had even greeted me or asked what I wanted. Instead of apologizing, he told me, "You're going to have to be patient. There's only one of me." I WAS being patient. Then he walked away and started talking badly about me within earshot. I could hear him, and I said, "I can hear you." I had done absolutely nothing wrong. I was simply trying to understand what was happening. I was never given an apology. Instead, I was chastised. I was also told by the manager that it is not their job to greet customers. I find that attitude absolutely astonishing. They told me to pull in, had me open my hood, didn't ask what I wanted, didn't explain the wait, and then acted as though I was unreasonable for expecting basic communication. I was also told that the other employees weren't supposed to talk to or greet me because he was the boss. And then, on top of everything else, they told me they couldn't "top me off," even though I hadn't even asked them to do that. They didn't ask whether I needed my tires checked either. The entire interaction was so uncomfortable and confusing that I felt completely at a loss. I was essentially at their mercy because I needed the service done and my vehicle has a recall and goes through oil very quickly. Otherwise, I would have simply left. And let's be clear: I was paying for a service. I work hard for my money, and I do not deserve to walk into a business and be treated as though I don't even deserve to be greeted, spoken to, or asked what I need. I have also asked on previous visits what happened to the manager who used to be here because he was always incredibly friendly. I always left feeling good about coming to this location. Unfortunately, employees have spoken negatively about him, which I also found extremely unprofessional. Whatever their opinion of that former manager may be, my experience with him was completely different. I never left that location feeling like a piece of dog shit who didn't even deserve basic courtesy. Life is too short to be treated that way. I have tolerated several bad experiences here without writing a review because I genuinely didn't want to put negativity out into the world. But this time crossed a line. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. The arrogance, lack of communication, refusal to apologize, talking about me within earshot, and complete lack of basic courtesy were unbelievable. I wasn't asking for special treatment. I wasn't asking to skip anyone. I simply wanted to know what was happening and what I was supposed to be waiting for. A simple, "We'll be right with you," would have changed the entire experience. Instead, I was ignored, chastised, talked about, and treated with extraordinary disrespect. That was unacceptable. And after all the previous experiences I chose not to complain about, this was finally bad enough that I felt forced to write this review.

All three times we went to Walmart Auto Care and all three times service was fast, friendly, efficient and professional. Today, I stopped in after having yet another low tire pressure warning. Gomez stepped out and checked out the tire immediately. He identified the issue, fixed it, refilled the tire and I was back on the road in no time. Texas roads can be brutal but especially around here with so much new construction, you're bound to hit a nail or a screw at some point. When you do, I recommend going to the Walmart Auto Care center. As a bonus, if you have a bit of a wait, you can get some shopping done or hit one of the restaurants right around the store.

In regard to your response Frank I'll expose again why no one should use you. To start I used you…read moreafter the break issue we resolved to give you a shot. I bring up that brake issue because it eventually became a pattern of dropping the ball, and repeated issues 1. My car had to be towed because basic logic well known issue for GMC/Chevy 6.2 liter V8 engines have a lifter issue which requires engine replacement. The car wasn't in bad shape as you say. Cadillac dealership said I should have it towed due to the knocking sound. My car has always been kept immaculate. Yes you quoted a fair price, it was Lambs in Lakeway that was ridiculous and most people know they are. The engine took long because they sent the wrong engine and in regards to my finances it wasn't I couldn't pay . I was at the mercy of you and I was nothing but polite every single interaction with you. Your dropped the ball so many times and you actually asked me for advance payment at one point because you needed to pay your taxes . I didn't want to pay you UPFRONT Frank. You fix then pay, that's most every way it's done . You didn't have the money to cover costs which is a concern regarding running a business. I had also just spent money on another car repair and boat repairs . The car sat as I decided what I wanted to do. As far as stating you could have charged me storage you never once mentioned that and I have every phone call that proves that. Pretty shady of you to pull that out on your reply here. Again not on single time did you ever mention storage fees. So please don't act as if it was some favor you did. The car went in for an engine replacement. As you confirmed the day you put the engine in to test drive you call me telling me I need steering column replacement. Yes I have you on recording Frank stating that indeed the lift and big tires were the culprit. The steering was completely fine and it had not been driven once per you as we waited for the engine issue and replacement to be resolved. You now understand why I recorded you. You can't remember what you told me. I didn't struggle to pay you. I had a boat in repair and another car a Range Rover in repair. I communicated to you very professionally. By the way let's remember you had me pay up front on everything. It was the engine that was ordered that was delayed. 2. Regarding the transmission line. Let the public see this post. I pick up my car from Frank and I make it about a quarter to half a mile or so down road and what becomes the problem is the transmission line. Frank I have that call to you recorded as well and your claim that I accelerated or false and blew the line is total BS. It had nothing to do with big tires. I'm saving all my facts, statements from GM certified techs , and video of your guy coming over to "fix" it. Within a day or 2 it went out again and I made you tow it for free. It was your guy that you sent and had him do what he did and sent me on my way and that all was fine only to have it sent back to you. By the way on our recorded call you tried to lead me to believe with certainty it was one thing when in fact you were wrong and called me with another reason. Again grateful I recorded both those conversations. The reputable mechanics I discussed were my brothers out of Houston. My brother owns a professional garage and luxury and collector car biz for 22 years. The other reputable people was a connection I had out of A Cadillac dealer in Dallas. I mentioned this to you and so logically my car stayed locally with you. 3. The whole issue about you spending 200 for the detail I will just say to anyone reading this look at the pics of my Escalade left in his care. Never should have happened Frank. By the way I took a time stamp video of my car before it went back to you. I didn't spill the oil. That's a regular engine oil. Why would I need engine oil to leave in my backseat after you just repaired and did an engine replacement. Again shady of you to blame that on me. And by the way I had to waste 3 hours of my work day sitting there waiting on a detail. Completely unprofessional. 4. I asked you you fix my windshield wiper motor while you had it. You never did. I kept asking you very time you had the car and I have your texts alone that show you forgot several times. same thing Frank regarding the transmission thermostat. I asked you several times, you came out to fix my running board and forgot to get the transmission thermostat and windshield motor. Again pretty crazy you fixed my transmission yet our texts show you dropping the ball on the thermostat. I have lost count on the amount of texts I have that show you never show up on time. I'm done with my response. I'll update this post after claims court.
