Been coming to Hartstones as long as I can remember... I often stop by on the way to my Dads coming down 18 just to get a fresh bouquet... They always just make somthing up for me right on the spot... Love them there... Fairly priced, good selection & everyone is always super nice & friendly... I have read all the other reviews & can tell you I always just walk in & tell them give me $20 worth of stuff... and maybe sometimes I over pay but they are usually a really pretty assortment. read more

This only my 3rd review in my life so you know it had to be important. I was in SSH and in dire need to get a bouquet of tulips to my room same day before 2pm on Memorial Day weekend. The kind gentleman who helped me on the phone was able to create and have delivered the surprise gift for my dear friend before she arrived to visit. I had such fun asking her to open the envelope to see who it was from only forbher to read the words I had given over the phone!! And the charge was so reasonable. But priceless nonetheless. read more

Main Street Flower - This is the beautiful bouquet of tulips the brought my dearest friend to tears! - Florists Near Me - Weymouth, Massachusetts

I called Main Street Flowers today and spoke to a lady regarding a few wilted flowers in my bouqet that I received yesterday for Valentine's Day. After answering a few of her questions regarding the wilted flowers, she said to bring them to the shop. I carefully packed them up and traveled there. Inside the shop, an older "gentleman," I will assume an owner came out from the back. Immediately, I could see in his demeanor that he didn't appear "happy" about me bringing the flowers back. He stood there and didn't say anything to me until I asked him if he was the person who would be helping me. Arrogantly, he said I am. I stated I had called a short time ago regarding a few of the flowers in the bouqet that are wilted, I just received them yesterday. Instantly, this man starts berating me by stating the flowers are not dead. I replied, "I never said they were dead. I said a few are wilted. He replied, "Only this one is wilted." I corrected him and said, "And these other ones are as well." He stated "no they are not. Those flowers are supposed to be like that." I said, "They're supposed to be wilted with brown petals?" I tried to point out the brown coloring on the flowers to him, but he forcefully pulled the bouqet away from me so I could not show him. I was in such disbelief at this point that a business owner would treat a customer so harshly and be so unprofessional. Arrogantly, he says, "Don't worry, I'll give you your money back." I said, "I didn't come in to get money back, I just expected to replace the wilted flowers." Rudely, he states, "Well, we don't have any, I'm giving you your money back." By this point, I am just so upset that a grown adult is behaving in such a poor manner. I replied back, "I truly didn't come here for the money back. I came in to simply have the wilted flowers replaced, but with the way you're treating me and how rude you are, I'll take back the money my boyfriend spent and never give you business again. " I turned and walked out with such disgust that was directed towards me from this business. I have never dealt with such ignorance over a simple issue that could have been easily resolved with BOTH parties being satisfied. There are a few points I am adding below regarding the "grey area" of this review. I noticed the wilted flowers as soon as I got home on Valentine's Day, which was 1 hour after he got them in store, not a pre-order. I didn't say anything to my boyfriend immediately because I didn't want to hurt his feelings or complain on a special day, especially when he went out of his way to do something very nice for me. Come to find out from my boyfriend, he didn't choose the flowers as i thought he did. The florist built the bouquet. So she knew exactly how the quality of each of the flowers looked as she put them together and wrapped them. The only expectation I had was quality for the amount of money my boyfriend paid. Is that so wrong to expect? I'm not one to provide poor reviews at all unless it's completely justified, and in this case, I most certainly think it is justified. I only did so for the simple fact that no business should ever handle situations so ineffectively. It's very poor business etiquette and quite classless. In no way am I trying to sway anyone from this business. I am hoping that with my honest and very detailed review, the owners use this to better handle any future discrepancies they may encounter. read more

Ordered flowers for a friend after surgery. I specifically asked on the phone if arrangement would include as many roses in picture, and was assured it would. The photo of the arrangement I ordered and the one delivered were wildly different. The one delivered was filled with cheap flowers and filler that was not pictured online read more

Stopped in to get a bouquet for a friend's birthday. This was the second time I've been in, since I loved the spray of roses I bought last year on Kentucky Derby day. I asked for a birthday bouquet for $25 and the really nice lady let me choose the flowers, offering a suggestion here and there. She said she was learning from an experienced florist and she did a beautiful job with the bouquet! My friend was THRILLED with the flowers! She kept saying that she smiled every time she looked at them, and kept taking photos of them. All that happiness for $25! Thanks, Hartstones! read more

Ordered flowers for a funeral that I could not attend. Ordered 3 days ahead of time. Got a call from Hartstone the time of funeral to apologize that they didn't get the order out and blamed it on a new employee. Inexcusable and will never use them again. This used to be the place to go for all occasions. New ownership is taking the place to it's own funeral. read more

I called at the last minute to send flowers to one of my friends who was having a bad week and the staff was so friendly and went out of there way to get the flower sent that day (deadline is noon I called after). I can't thank everyone enough they did an amazing job! I always try to support local business because they go above and beyond to help you. The price was very reasonable and the flowers looked like art. Thank you :) read more

I have ordered funeral flowers from Hartstone a few times in the last 2 months and they have always come thru with beautiful arrangements! They look exactly as portrayed on the website, delivered in time (despite being ordered a day before the wake) and are very easy to order from. Their prices are really good and competitive. Thank you! read more

Disappointed and misrepresented with floral basket sent to my mom in Hingham. The price was $ 75 and the arrangement resembled a supermarket assortment of carnations, baby's breadth, alstroemerias-- Did not meet standard for a florist I will go to a supermarket for a more sophisticated upscale floral assortment. read more

Dropped in and got possibly the worst service ever. One employee (in red plaid flannel) walked around personally asking everybody if they needed help that were already receiving help then asked the LAST person in line. Team member that did my transaction wasn't the brightest. Requested a $20 Valentine's Day bouquet, a $20 BOUQUET ! He left to gather the pieces and came back. Ringed it up to $74.38 ! I'm not the smartest but if you order a $20 product listed from a board within the shop it should be that much plus tax. I paid only because of time constraints and left. Stop and Shop or Shaw's in the area would NEVER overcharge you or take advantage of you. Would never recommend this place ever. read more

Recent flower delivery to South Shore Hospital. Found out my friend was being discharged sooner than anticipated. I called Hartstone, after the order was placed, and they went out of their way to make the delivery early Great customer service! read more

They were amazing to work with. The flowers I sent were beautiful and they were so prompt getting the flower out.

My family has known Bob for as long as I can remember so Hartstones was my first choice for our Wedding flowers. Bob and Allie didn't disappoint! I told them our Wedding colors and that I wanted blue Hydrangeas. I told them the other flowers in my bouquet were completely up to them and they did a phenomenal job! I got so many compliments on the bouquets! I HIGHLY recommend Bob and his crew!! read more

Amazing florist. Their arrangements last longer than any other flowers I've received. We have been using them for six years and they just did our wedding. It was nothing less than perfect! They are patient and kind and super creative. Allie was the best. She's so passionate and professional and comes up with great concepts. I would recommend them to anyone!! read more

I've been driving by this place for over 20 years and it has always stood out to me because of the sign saying "sweetheart roses $3.99" which has gone up a bit in that 20 years but still stands out to me. I recently had to buy a corsage for my Sons prom and wanted to use a local florist in my town but, because of bad hours I ended up at here. Funny after all these years. Long story short it's a great place and they did a great job. I even went back a year later and got the same results. I guess the sign that drew my attention for so many years, was calling out to me.......Before I even had kids to buy prom flowers for. read more

Do not order flowers from here if you actually expect them to be delivered! I ordered flowers online for my uncle's wake last week. Got to the wake - no flowers! When I called the guy had no clue. Could not find my order even though I had and email confirmation and confirmation number. They took my phone number and told me they would look into it but I never heard back, sent email and still waiting for them to refund my cc. HORRIBLE!!! read more

Small selection of perennials and a few annuals outdoors. I went in and browsed and wasn't even acknowledged by the salesperson.

I have used Hartstones plenty of times and love it! Today they went above and beyond as far as I was concerned. I called at 11 am on Saturday for a delivery today, not only did they have it delivered but 8t was an absolute beautiful arrangement! Thank you!!! read more

My Father, brothers, sisters, and friends have used Hartstone since the 1960's. I am deeply saddened to say I'll never go in again. I went today knowing it would be a tall order to have flowers delivered Saturday. I expected a bit of a pushback. The thing is...my request was to spend at least $100 and my ask was they be delivered ONE MILE from the store. I was paying cash and prepared to tip (heavy) the driver (who was right there and knowing his schedule for Sat). This would literally be the easiest delivery of his Saturday. I had driven all the way to Weymouth from down on the South Shore as Hartstone, again, is the only place we trust. I was told "no to the Sat delivery" and told also "cannot deliver to a business". This "business" is a simple office one mile away and flowers to be dropped at the front desk right inside the vestibule. I looked around the store and there is ZERO inventory, no displays, nothing. Hartstone has gone bye-bye and I'll never go back. Sad. As a side note, I immediately drove to Diersch on Broad st and got everything I needed and a Sat AM delivery guaranteed. read more

Hartstone came through big when I needed a last minute arrangement for my Fathers wake this Summer. There was so much going on between putting pictures and video together and trying to find someone to watch my kids that I forgot to order flowers. I am so thankful that they were able to make something last minute and even deliver it. I've been there on several occasions to get flowers for my family that live in the area and there was always a lot to choose from and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Thanks again! read more

Rip off. Quoted me one thing and delived another. Called back and was told someone would get right back to me. Nope, hoped I would go away. Old man is interested in only $$ and not a happy customer. I will never go back! Its all my fault as I was warned by friends that they suck. And they do! read more

I gave them 2 stars because the floral arrangement was beautiful. But it was a day late after asking for same day delivery. It was supposed to be a surprise from a friend. When he showed up that evening and saw no delivery...he called them...ruining the surprise. They apologized to him and said it would be delivered today up to 6pm. 2:15 it shows up and it smelled like cigarettes not flowers!! What a disappointment. 40 minutes later they still stink! I would think twice ordering from here. Especially for the price. read more

I ordered flowers for my mother as she is recovering from Covid. At 87 years old, she has been through a lot. I wanted to make sure that the flower bouquet was big so I paid extra. The flowers that arrived are a small bouquet with mostly fillers. What a disgrace! I would never purchase through them again. What a disappointment. When I called, the manager or owner didn't seem to care. read more

AWESOME service. I ordered flowers Saturday evening and delivered on Sunday morning. Thank you for the great work.

This review is based solely on their customer service/delivery service: I ordered flowers from Hartstone to be delivered and gave them delivery instructions to the best of my ability with the character limit that was allotted. I never received a notification that the flowers had been delivered, so I called Hartstone to see if the delivery had been made since I had not heard from the intended recipient. The woman I spoke with said they had already been delivered. I was forced to call the intended recipient and essentially ruin the surprise. The flowers were delivered to the wrong doorstep at the condo facility she lives at. I understand that it can be confusing to make a delivery in a condo facility, but here are a few ways to avoid this in the future: 1. CALL someone if you are unsure if it's the correct unit. 2. Allow for more characters when writing the delivery description upon placing the order. 3. Send an email/text notification once the delivery has been made. I hate to leave such a scathing review as I am sure the flower arrangement was wonderful. read more

Usually they do a good job BUT not this time! We sent an arrangement to a neighbor who had been injured. The delivery driver knocked once then left the flowers on the stairs in the sun When I called the florist requesting they call my neighbor to advise them the flowers were on the stairs, they said thanks for calling & that they'd call when the driver got back. What!? After the driver delivered the other 10 or 20 arrangements in the truck? Not impressed with the flowers nor their service. read more

Hartstone did the most amazing job on my wedding flowers. Erika took all the ideas I had in my head and made them even more beautiful in reality. Such a beautiful job -- thanks for making my day even more beautiful. read more

We used (past-tense) Hartstone for a long time, but will never use them again. They delivered identical bouquets to the same funeral as another family member that ordered from there, same shape, same colors, same run-of-the-mill flowers for baskets costing over $100 apiece. It was embarrassing! Looked like we grabbed them off the shelf at the grocery store. When I called, the manager apologized, but "didn't know what to say". I know what to say, DON'T order from them! read more

Excellent Service, fresh cut flowers, special orders are never a problem. Bob and his staff go out of their way to be helpfull

My husband and I have been coming to Hartstone for years! They are right near his parents' house and have always been very impressed. We recently used them for our wedding bouquets and I cannot say enough nice things about Erica and Bob. They listened to everything I had to say and they were very consultative about what flowers may work best. Our centerpieces were included with our venue package and by choosing Hartstone not only did we save money but we worked with such nice people. One extremely nice thing that they did was to help us with our card box. They put beautiful ribbons on the card box that matched the ribbon on the bouquets which made the card box look stunning. I would absolutely recommend them for anything! read more

Apparently their computer does not work and they are unable to deliver flowers ordered for a funeral. The order was sent via FTD. Hartstone's manager said they saw the order on the computer but it never printed And they never did a thing about it. Use another florist!!! read more

I just stopped in Hartstone to order flowers today and I really can't believe that I have never written a review for them. They are my absolute favorite florist, I have used other florists and every time been disappointed. Hartstone has done flowers for me since my wedding years ago to my daughters wedding recently. They go above and beyond giving you far more than what you expect! I work in the bridal industry and see a lot of flowers, if you are looking to have beautiful flowers they are it!! read more

I love Hartsone for all my floral needs. They always have the freshest, most vibrant flowers and are eager to work with you to make a personalized arrangement. First and foremost, another local florist cancelled my daughter's wedding 5 weeks before the wedding and when I called Hearthstone they were more than willing to work with us. They delivered the most exquisite arrangments for the wedding and we were all overjoyed with how beautiful flowers were . Since then we have used them for every floral need. For Mother's Day we ordered two hydrangea plants and they were the most beautiful hydrangea plants in the area-- there were several large blooms on the plants in brilliant pink and lavender colors unlike others that I've seen in the area. Additionally we ordered prom corsages and once again Hartstone came through with flying colors. The corsages were beautiful. The prices are reasonable and service is always given with a smile. Definitely our five star florist!! read more
