I had a 4oz filet. I asked for rare. Was cooked more blue, but I was happy with that. No offer of steak sauce. Fine with me because I prefer salt and butter. Baked potato was actually great! Mac and cheese was not anything to write home about. Salad was huge - took it back to my hotel. Haggerty's was busy in a small-ish town for a Thursday night. I don't drink, so no comment on any alcohol except to say the Cosmo looking drinks at a table nearby looked great in frosty glasses. There were a few large groups lingering and chatting. Several other single eaters at the bar who seemed happy. Some family style meals going on - groups of 4 or 5. Overall, I'd say this is good spot to go for a steak if you're craving one. I'd return.

Walter, born the year that the Titanic sank, ran the grill, until he was robbed and shot there in 1975. His wife Janet, carried on the restaurant until it was sold to Billy Theodorakos. Recently Chris Owens bought the restaurant changing the name. Now to the food. For the traditionalists, there is the original side of the restaurant with the old counter and booths where oodles of great hot dogs and burgers were served. Then there's the newer side, almost a sports bar. Twice in eight days we stopped to eat there, and the food was excellent both times. The service was great the first time, but our orders came out piecemeal on the latter visit. But the food! First stop we had the seafood special, flounder and shrimp. Linda had the same the next time but I opted for the Mahi bang bang tacos! Just wow! So Kurbside is savoring the past and sumptuously serving the present. It's worth the stop!

A mediterranean style interior with an Italian influence. High ceilings, and lots of art on the walls. A tv with sports playing up by the bar area. Our kind and friendly server came by our booth within a minute or so and took our drink requests and got our appetizer going all at the same time. For starters we went with the Fried Calamari, this is first rate golden brown, tender to the bite and juicy with a great marinara for dipping. Some of the best we have had around. We gave the menu a good look over, a well rounded menu with something for pretty much every taste. I opted for the Austrailian Chicken, with bacon, mushrooms and cheddar along a nice rustic potato mash with a side green salad. The chicken was very good, nicely prepared with a unique finish. Tender and flavorful, two grilled boneless breasts covered with bacon. This is a hearty meal, great flavor and a fair value for the serving. My partner had the Chicken Pot Pie, a beautiful presentation and well prepared. A large serving with a flaky baked crust topping. She said it was very good as well. They have a pretty good dessert selection too, I went for the Heath bar cheese cake and it was exceptionally good. Rich, creamy toffee flavor. 4.5 Stars All in all a solid choice, rounded up for all of the great staff 01260
