An adorable little cafe, quaintly hidden in Staten Island (Richmondtown) New York.  Don't blink, or you will miss the door to this little old-world cafe.  The aroma of freshly baked goods overwhelms you as you enter.  There are tables and chairs to welcome the weary for a lovely cup of tea or a freshly brewed coffee. The cafe offers breakfasts, lunches, among its menu of delicious delicacies.  My first time visiting was earlier today, I stopped by for some muffins and got the most heavenly chocolate chip, which was an easy 10/10.  It was large with lots of chips, and the freshness factor was stupendous.  I can't wait for my next rendezvous at this little treasure trove. read more

I'm really not quite sure what's going on here at this place. I came here when it first opened and I really enjoyed the coffee and food. although they are a small establishment with a very small staff. We decided to come here today for brunch. There was one table seated. The girl at the counter was totally oblivious talking on her AirPods. Idk what's going on the back a small kid runs down the stairs to the kitchen causing chaos a woman is eating in the corner and putting out trays of food. All I see is food and safety violations! It's unfortunate because this place can be so cute and quaint but it looks unkept and dirty. It also shows no one is following dept health and hygiene rules. After spending 45 mins Waaiittiingg we got our food. It was mediocre at best. I def wouldn't go back. Do yourself a favor and find someplace else to go. Def not worth it read more

Cute little old fashioned coffee spot and the coffee is great. I ordered the BLT wrap which was delicious. My daughter got the chicken fingers and those were good too. Service was okay-- First you have to order at the counter. The girls forgot my step mom's food which was a bit disappointing. Look, compared to the cafes of Brooklyn and Manhattan, it doesn't hold a candle, but in the independent coffee shop desert that is Staten Island, it punches above its weight. The prices are fair. Cute little cafe shop along Clarke Ave so just gotta park onto the street! Inside: Has seating for both indoor and outdoor but most people aren't sitting down unless you're ordering some quick bites. Busy in mornings and weekends due to the breakfast and coffee options but they are pretty speedy about it. Food: They have a multitude of homemade flavors for coffee with substitutions and options. Their food options have a lot of homemade, health conscious and little things as well as options from burgers to quesadillas and acai bowls. A little pricey but its mosty homemade, wverything around here is getting a little more expensive. Some reviews talked about how the service was poor, however for the 5x ive went they were not rude or slow. Coffee is quick, food is homemade so it should take a little time to make. Overall: nice little place to either grab a quick coffee or snack. Prices are fine for the things they are making and can't complain about the service. read more

Terrible staff and service. The food is good but every single time I come here, the order takes very long. I try to give the benefit of the doubt but today it wasn't even busy and after a while I asked for my food and the guy printed my order again which meant it was never given to the kitchen. This hidden cafe is in the historic old town of Richmond town! With several locations throughout Staten, this one was a nice surprise finding it in this historic landmark. The owner, Kevin, is very pleasant along with his lovey staff. Truly accommodating and kind. What I found fascinating was the extensive menu! It's not just a coffee shop, but a full kitchen in the back that will feed any appetite. So come hungry! Most of the items are made in house and you can tell. Smoothies are horrible, watery with no flavor. Avocado toast is equally as horrible, as they put pesto on it for some reason but do not specify it on the menu. Grilled cheese is a hit or miss- one slice of cheese and the bacon is disgustingly fatty that you cannot even eat it, even when you specify well done. Every time I try something new here I'm consistently disappointed, I've wasted so much money. You'll also be waiting almost an hour for a mediocre waffle. Great menu but terrible execution. Really enjoyed this stop on a drive from NJ to Queens NYC. Located in historic Richmond Town, but this cafe is worth the trip all on its own. The menu is surprisingly vast. Something for everyone in my group, as you can see from my photos... wraps, burgers, waffles and açaí bowls in one place, all great quality. They have a huge list of flavors to add to drinks. My daughter enjoyed her iced tea with strawberry flavor. Most importantly, the coffee is excellent! Now it will take me even longer to get to Queens because I'll be adding this detour to my route! read more

When I entered there was 1 person in front of me who said she had already ordered, so I moved up to the counter. As I was looking at the menu, I noticed more people starting to move in and making their way around the counter. I started to order with the older woman working the counter and she tells me "there's a line". I said to her that I was there first before any of the others. She looks at me and says "I don't know" and doesn't take my order. I literally redownloaded my Yelp so I could drop a good review here. This place is located in the local living history museum. As a result the atmosphere is great, like a centuries old cellar prettied up with a modern twist. They have something approximating a coffee slushee which is pretty good. read more

The other location is far superior. Much better service, less obnoxious children running around. Getting a smoothie here takes 30 minutes. This is never a grab and go spot, always expect to be waiting at least a half hour. Even if you order a simple hot coffee I'd estimate the wait to be 500 years. read more

My girlfriend and I absolutely love this place. We are always greeted as soon as we walk in. We come in here as much as we can and I must say the Burgers are always excellent. 4.8 stars! I love coming here so much it's my favorite café ever!! The location is calming and I love the interior. The avocado toast is to die for, specifically the Wombo Combo or the Hipster. Morning Jolt Smoothie is really good too. My friend said the Wombo Combo burger was amazing. Their coffee is really good I love the beans that they use. Unfortunately there are times when the person making the espresso isn't an actual barista and you can taste it lol but thats rare. I'm only giving this 2 stars because the coffee is excellent, however, the service is absolutely horrible. First time trying it I put in a door dash order. When I got there, it wasn't anywhere on the counter. I had to wait on a forever line at the cashier ( who BTW if he moved any slower would be backing up). When I finally got there he said the order didn't go through. It went through perfectly fine on my end. He showed me the tablet and it was blank. So they have a problem there. takes a lot for me to actually download the yelp app to write a review so this should show how horrible my experience was here. i try to order & the girl is on her phone with her airpods in standing there not listening to us. my mom had to literally be like HELLOOOOO?? for her to pick her head up. then she takes our order & she has an attitude & doesn't even listen to what i wanted. i ordered an iced caramel latte with almond milk. she gave me unflavored iced coffee, so she didn't listen to my order. manager should tell workers not to have airpods in while working the register or just move her to stocking in the back. read more
