Ever since about my second visit, I've been ordering the exact same drink: a medium Cookie Butter Blondie with caramel and sweet cream foam. It's my drink. In fact, at most locations, as soon as I say "Cookie Butter," they're already finishing the rest of my order for me. I absolutely love that level of familiarity. Today's visit felt a little different though. My drink usually comes out *close-up ready* if you know what I mean. The caramel is giving, the foam is foaming, and everything looks as good as it tastes. This time, that vibe just wasn't there. Service was a bit slower than I'm accustomed to, and when I got my drinks (yes, drinks lol my spouse happened to be heading into work later, so I was bringing a surprise), I was hesitant to ask for a remake. The biggest difference was the caramel and sweet cream foam. I typically ask for extra caramel, and the amount in the cup was noticeably lighter than what I've received on previous visits. The foam was also much thinner than usual. Those two things are honestly what make the drink for me, so the flavor wasn't quite hitting the same way. That being said, one reason I'm not overly upset is because this has *not* been my typical experience. I've ordered this same drink more times than I can count, and it's usually made perfectly. That's exactly why I keep coming back. So I'm chalking this one up as a one-off. Will I be back? Absolutely. For one, I still have money on my gift card. And two, 7 Brew has officially won me over.
