This family owned business was a Great find in Montgomery. I didn't know vegetarian/vegan Texans existed. J/K! Upon walking in you will be overwhelmed by all the product in such a small area. It's literally a maze of billions of vitamins/herbs/produce/household products etc. in the small well organized space. Take your time in there to browse all the shelves. If your on the hunt for a rare ingredient for a baking dish, they probably have it. They carry every vegan, gluten free, vegetarian, organic product you can imagine. There freezers and refrigerators are stocked with tons of breads, treats, meats etc. there is a small cafe in the back where you can order a yummy smoothie and read a book. The staff is very knowledgable and they offer many classes throughout the month. I just attended the raw vegan cooking class and was totally impressed. Check them out online too and stop in you'll be shocked and feel healthier on the way out. read more

This store has a great selection of healthy products and fresh produce. I happened to discover this family-owned business while driving by, and I'm so glad I did. The staff recommended some products for my allergies, and I've already noticed a big improvement with my skin. I only wish I had found this place sooner. Thank you for the helpful guidance! I would like to begin by sharing the fact that Dr. Claire basically saved me from horrible pain and misery due to severe GOUT. I have broken many bones, at one point due to an accident, at the same time due to this accident, I had a collapsed lung, 3 broken ribs, and a broken collar bone and this still could not compete with the pain of this GOUT. I went to my doctor back and forth for 2 years and he would mainly give me steroid shots (I know they were bad for me) but the short term relief was welcome more than the shots being bad for me. After at least 10-15 doctors visits and a ton of wasted money, I told myself I would stop in the health food store across the street from my home in April Sound that i drove by every day, praying that it would have something to help me, anything to stop the pain. I walk in and there is the person i had been hearing about, Dr. Claire smiling and eager to help. She asked how could she help, I told her exactly what i was going through, she said follow me, swiped the last bottle off of the shelf and said, follow these instructions and come back and see me in 10 days and tell me what you think. I am thinking to myself, I have heard how wonderful she is, but there is no way. So i took them across the street, did exactly as the bottle said and BAM, it started going away that quickly after an hour or so. These other reviewers talking about her decor and old produce are freakin idiots, WHO CARES, please go somewhere else then and get someone that has no clue on how to truly help you. If you want to to a place where the owner truly cares and knows better than most doctors and can generally help most of your health problems, PLEASE go talk to Dr. Claire and her daughter and staff, I GUARANTEE you, you will be back in her store thanking her for providing you her incredible knowledge and helping your day to day health be in a better place. It gets a two star for its tincture selection. Zero stars for rotting produce, dusty and some out-of-date products, dark lighting, and old carpet. In addition, the staff wore no masks then proceeded to be in my personal space, and tried to shake hands with me while I'm wearing a mask. For a place that "sells" healthy living they are putting people at risk during a pandemic. Fine is they don't want to wear a mask but at least be respectful of those who are wearing them. I love this store and the family who runs it. They are very knowledgeable (all three generations) about what works if you take the time to chat. It is not perfect; nothing is, but they believe in the power of the body to protect itself if it is treated well. I love that they have a wear a mask if you want policy. They have a wide range of items; they do not have everything, but if you ask, they will do their best to find what works for you. They do a courtesy call to let you know when your shipment has arrived. I love that they work with other locals in stocking and recycling old produce. This kind of shop is what makes America great. It is much bigger than it seems, but it is dated, and that's fine with me. I like dated things; it means there is a history! Go. You won't regret it. read more

Dr. Claire Bridges has helped me and at least 6 of my friends/family get better health. For one it was a life saver after seeing multiple doctors w/o a diagnosis and Claire figured it out immediately, she went from bed ridden to back on her feet in 30 days. For me, she has helped me get to the bottom of my health problems for about 8 yrs and I go back every year for an update. Not sure where I would be w/o her expertise. IT was on the shelf and one of the 3 ladies said "that is the way we operate". I personal will now use Amazon. They make delicious, healthy smoothies. There's a massage place, grocery store, hair salon, and an eyologist on site. This review is for Dr. Claire Bridges. She is one out of 4 Grand Masters in the country, trained by professors in Europe. My husband just went for an appointment today, after suffering from severe stomach issues, among other things. We have paid thousands of $$$ to see a gastroenterologist, a holistic doctor, and the only person that can figure out exactly what was wrong was Dr. Bridges. After taking photos of his eyes, she knew all his symptoms, and how to treat his conditions. He thought it was IBS, but turns out he has adrenal problems, and much more. He was given information on exactly what was wrong and how to treat it. The treatment plan includes a dietary change, which is wonderful because he already has to take numerous (natural) pills every day. I don't think we could ever figure out what was wrong without Claire's expertise. If you or a loved one is suffering from an unknown condition, I highly recommend seeing Dr. Bridges. Also, be prepared to pay for the appointment up front. She's effective and produces real results, so she's very busy, and it took a month before we could see her. read more
