The richness of the açaí was lacking. We're used to a certain caliber and standard. AND I got a Medium Vitality Bowl (Rating: 7/10) Bases- Guava and Acerola Blend, Blue Bliss Blend, and Cacao Toppings- Granola and Honey (Complimentary), Banana, Blueberry, Goji Berries, and Almond Butter The Almond Butter was stuck on the inside of the top and wasn't really in my bowl. The Guava and Acerola Blend had frozen pieces in my bowl (might not be a popular option). I could slightly taste the Guava, what I did taste I liked, but I would've like to taste more of it. Cacao flavor wasn't rich either. They also don't have as many options as EverBowl, which is our GoTo açaí bowl spot. However, for some reason they're scarce in the city of Houston. By the time we got there, they said that they were not doing it anymore, and they ran out of all the supplies. I even told them that I had called before leaving my house and they said that they just ran out. I would have appreciated if they would have checked how much supplies they had before telling people to come up for the smoothies. My family and I drove up there. Multiple people came in after us looking for the free item and turned around and walked away when they did not get it. However, we thought we already drove up there, so we decided to support them. One of my daughters got the matcha and we literally all tried it and had to throw it away because no one in our family liked it. The bathroom was not clean and I had to clean the toilet before allowing my child to use it. We saw a man and woman bringing in supplies while we were there, but it got late and we had to go. I'm not sure if they would have even honored making the free drinks at that point anyways, but at this point everyone in our family tried them and did not like it. Free drinks are not why I am disappointed, but more so that that the bathroom was not clean and it smelled weird in there and no one liked their smoothie in our family. Other customers were asking why the owner didn't come help, send additional staff, or simply close if they knew only one employee would be working. She mentioned that she had informed her boss, but nothing was done. This review is not a reflection of the employee -- she handled a stressful situation very well. It's a reflection of poor management and staffing decisions. Unfortunately, I won't be visiting this location again.
