Visited a few times for parties only. Pizza was pretty good and came with game cards which the boys used very fast. They enjoyed the very quick game of laser tag. Service was not great as we had to find servers to refill drinks and bring utensils. I like that there are actually things for the adults to do and a place for them to hang out. There were employees standing around doing nothing while other employees are working hard. The wait times for bowling, laser tag, high walk thingy are ridicously long, especially when lanes and so on were not occupied. Almost every game machine we wanted to play was out of order. The staff are so used to inoperable games that they don't even question anything, they just automatically issue gobs of credits. Bowling lanes are really tight. And guests tend to be rude or not care about lane etiquette. There was a large birthday party in the lane next to us and the entire group kept standing in our lane, and getting in our space. Every group wants their time to celebrate etc and that's fine, they should be able to do so, but lane etiquette needs to be communicated. Post signs or something. read more

Absolutely the worst experience EVER. I was told that my party of 7 would have to wait a minimum of a hour for bowling, which was okay with us. We went to sit down in the dinning area to have a quick bite. It had been well over 20 min of being seated till one of us had to get up to get service. Once we did, the server was great and food was mediocre. After we were done eating an hour and 30 min had passed and we still didn't receive a text about our lane being ready. So we went to ask when it would be ready and then proceeded to wait an additional hour and a half before being told our lane was finally ready. 3-4 hours of waiting for this lane and when we finally got to it there were no servers anywhere to be seen to order drinks, so our party had to keep going up to the bar and Forfeit their turn when it came along to them. By the the time we were about to grab a single drink the timer had ran out for us to play our whole bowling set. Very disappointed in how understaffed this establishment is, and how little they seemed to care that a party of 7 just paid $140 for no service and 20 minutes to no bowling time. read more

I came here for a family outing on Mother's Day. We ate, played laser tag and did the rope walk. The food was ok. Could've been better. Way better. It was cold, took a while to come, and was missing key ingredients that was asked for when ordered but it did the job at least. The adult beverages were yummy. The games were fun and decently priced. $1.50 average per game play. Bowling wait was 3 hours long so we skipped that and did laser tag. That was a lot of fun. We had our second annual company family event at this Main Event in Suwanee. There were about 40 people in our group. We were given the first big play room to eat for about an hour, and then the rest of the few hours were arcade play, laser tagging, rope course, and bowling. The food was definitely not the same as the prior year's. I remember the food being way better. The buns came out cold, the burger meat was very dry, and the queso dip was different. This year's queso was sort of a queso and salsa combo which tasted weird. The wings were super crispy and good, but I remember them putting out some sauces for us last year. This year we only had tabasco bottles and the ranch that came with the veggies. Who knows. There were only about 20-30 wings for a group of 40 people, so we were waiting around for them to replenish the wings. The sweet tea was not sweet at all. We all actually thought it was unsweet tea, which you know is a sin here in the south!! Last year the waitress walked around and asked if any of us needed additional drinks since they only put out water and tea, but this year, the waitress sort of stood around and went MIA for a little at a time. I never got a chance to get a drink other than that offending "sweet" tea. Laser tagging with our group can be hectic, but last year they pulled it off perfectly. This year, the man who was conducting everything seemed really unorganized. Our first lasertag session, he told us to find a vest and just go ahead and go inside. So no instructions for the newbies? He also left out about 6 people in our group even though we had these two specific sessions for our company group. They definitely didn't have enough equipment because some of us had to forego playing to let the other 6 play. Overall, I was disappointed with the service and food this time around. Last year we were raving about how great they were. This year, not so much. The waitresses were still very nice, and so was the one girl with glasses at the lasertag who took our picture. read more

The concept of the place is good. Lots to do for the kids. You can have fun playing bowling, laser tag, gravity ropes, rock climbing, the arcade....etc. Adults can have a pool game while the kids are playing. Cool. The downside is the service. There's so many people working there, but we were not able to find good service. It was a mission to get a drink and cup of coffee. We waited for so long! By the time we got what we ordered, the drink was all watery , and the coffee wasn't hot. We went there for a birthday party. I wouldn't recommend the place for that purpose. The time is not enough for the kids to play more than two rounds. Everything is done very quickly. I don't think it's worth the money. I heard comments that the pizza was good. It looked good. Got a game card with food for a deal and the game card wasn't loaded with any money on it. Had to go to the bar to request service to the bowling lanes. Many arcade games broken or don't give correct tickets onto card. No prices on most of the things in the prize area. I've been here a total of 2 times. I did not enjoy the experiences. The service is slow. I waited for 10 minutes at the bar and no one was working at 12 pm on a Monday afternoon. No one was working at the snack bar and no staff who could take my order was anywhere in sight for the 30 minutes I was looking for help. I just wanted something to drink! They only had Pepsi products. There were no sugar free or healthy drink options except water. The donut order at the bowling area took 20 minutes to come out. They didn't even bring napkins. The games cost $1.50 each swipe. Birthday party reservation was a mess because the staff was not trained well. Details matter for a good experience. Start with hiring and training better staff. We went on Memorial Day. Had issues with the bowling ball getting stuck in the gutter. Used the video chat to ask for help, no one answered. I had to walk down the lane and retrieve the ball myself, twice. No one even noticed I was past the fault line. Ordered food, I was told that I couldn't order a hamburger because they were cleaning the grill...which meant that it hadn't been cleaned at closing the night before, yuck. When the meal was over, I asked for the check, 10 minutes later, still didn't have the check. Then to top it off, I was told they didn't have any to-go boxes which meant that I had to leave half my family's meal on the table. Lined up for the ropes course, waited 10 minutes while the staff talked to each other on their ear pieces. Main Event is a classier Dave and Busters with bowling and some sort of ropes course. However, the prices are much more hiked up. Their food is also much smaller in size. I watched a group of teens split a personal size pizza and when I asked them how much it cost they said it was almost 20$. This does seem like a really cool place to hang out if you're a teen and your parents have a lot of money - hence the excellent location so close to Johns Creek. They offer finger food and actual meals, but I just came for the bowling. It was about 60$ for an hour not including shoes. At Brunswick, two hours with shoes would cost that much on a weekend night. So while the place is very clean and spacious and cool, you would have to pay me to come back here because I don't have money like that. read more

Management needs to train the young hourly workers in customer service. They need to put pep in their step and smile and be energetic to the customers. Especially the ropes course workers. We had to wait an hour for our time slot. Then we were told it was closed. We went to speak to the manager and walked over there and suddenly it was once again open. They walk around and take their time suiting up the participants. They don't look at you in the eyes and give any explanation as to why they are taking so long. We spent a lot of money in there. The unprofessionalism of the workers and some of the facilities did not live up to that. The store where you use your points from the games is very disheveled. Half of the prizes do not have points on them. Many of them are out. The table shuffle board was a mess. Many of the pucks were broken. it is certainly not Chix Filet of Disney quality. From the moment we sat down, they both were all about making sure my family and I were all good. They even entertained my boys.... Kudos for just that alone! This place is trash. Nothing special about the place to begin with. Second, the manager + waiter combo were as dumb as Peter quil when iron man and spider man were pulling the glove off Thanos. Me and my friends pull up go to the bowling alley. Order food and order beer. She processes our order. Then comes back and says kitchen closed. I say bet no problem I don't want the beer then. 5 mins later she brings out beer. I tell her we're not paying cause I literally told you no. Then blah blah manager comes through opens our conversation by saying you gonna pay for the these beers or do you want to get arrested. Boi... Great concept! Bad execution? We went on Memorial Day and they were extremely under staffed! The line to purchase tickets for anything was to the door! When we finally purchase a game card, tickets for laser tag, and a lane for bowling, we went to get a drink a bar. There were people waiting to even be greeted at the tables, she finally came to the bar to order. Not to fault the very few staff members that were there, who was working hard. We played games while we waited for the laser tag and lane. Although the games were fun, they were expensive! And it kept taking our money! In the end we spent over $125 on games alone. Prizes weren't bad. Laser tag was enjoyable, but short! Bowling was fun, but our booth was dirty. We only bowed for an hour so we didn't order anything, but no one came to took our order anyways. It was pricey! $22 per hour at least plus $4.50 shoe rental each person. We ultimately had fun, but definitely at a cost. Would we back? Maybe. read more

The manager doesn't even come around to check on tables and help. That's says poor training for management or they just don't care. The place is pretty dead when we have been there. I came here with on a Friday afternoon and we got terrible service. I had to go up to the kiosk to ask for a server, but none came by our bowling lane for 30 minutes. I was able to flag down 2 people who were bringing by food for other lanes, but was told they were not servers. It seems they only had 1 bartender and 1 server, making the service very slow. Once the server did come by after about 35 minutes, I ordered a drink from the menu, but she didn't even know the drink was on the menu. I am yet to see how long I will have to wait before I receive my order. I have been to other Main Event locations and have received wonderful service, so don't judge Main Event based on the service at this location. However, be prepared for a long wait to order food/drinks if you come to this location. The facility itself is nice, but the slow service is a downer. read more

Went for Monday night madness, last week, as a late Father's Day outing with the kids. Price was great for unlimited game plays; however, after purchasing unlimited games for $11.99/person and another $11.99/person for unlimited bowling, laser tag, and ropes course, the employee had me sign my receipt and just walked off. I had to stand there for about 10 mins before I could ask for a receipt for myself. My kids then said their cards didn't work when swiped for a game. I returned to the front desk to wait another 10 min to be told that the Monday madness special was only for games with rainbow lights circling the card readers. I told the young man that this info would've been nice, prior to me purchasing $75 worth of "unlimited" games for my 3 kids. He apologized and then proceeded to stare at me, as if to say, "what else do you need?" I just walked off and said "don't worry about it." Was quite irritated. Also wasn't told that you cannot collect tickets for prizes when purchasing the Monday madness unlimited plays. So many hidden agendas with these "unlimited" playing cards/days, which should be noted somewhere at the purchasing counter, or told BEFORE purchasing! read more

I was highly unsatisfied with my experience visiting for first time at this location. Our server provide a great service her name was Genny with a G there are no complaints with her. The real issue was that we ordered food roughly around 10:30 and we didn't get our food until an hour and 40 min later, then when they brought out the food it was lukewarm. We tried to speak to the manager (she never approached us ) so we could come to a mutual agreement in which we could be compensated for having to wait for so long while other people received their food before us even after the fact that their orders were taken after ours. This was our second visit here and our thoughts were the same each time. The place itself is fabulous with so much to do, and the food is outstanding! The Sunnyside Up Burger is delicious. We were extremely surprised with the quality of the food for adults. The kids menu is a little fancy for kids but good. Our one major downside and drawback is the service. Each time we have gone we have had to go in search of someone to help us (whether is be to order food, or reserve a bowling lane or billiards table). This particular trip, a man who doesn't work there, stood up at the main counter and kept the ladies working there occupied with just chitchat. It took my husband forever to get our bowling lane and shoes cause he kept having to try and get their attention away from the non work related conversation. Went out tonight 9/11/20 for date night with my boyfriend and we got there and all the tables were disgusting. We stood around until we saw a server and asked if it was self seating and she offered to clean a table for us. We sat down at a wet, sticky table and waited for around 15-20 mins before finally getting up and leaving. Had to go to a nearby bar because we were starving at that point.
