Wow this place is terrible! Nearly every game is broken and my husband cut his hand open on one. Nothing was offered other than a band aid. We sat by the bar waiting to even be acknowledged for 20 mins to no avail. This location used to be packed every weekend and now it's dead. I know why... read more

This was our second visit here and our thoughts were the same each time. The place itself is fabulous with so much to do, and the food is outstanding! The Sunnyside Up Burger is delicious. We were extremely surprised with the quality of the food for adults. The kids menu is a little fancy for kids but good. Our one major downside and drawback is the service. Each time we have gone we have had to go in search of someone to help us (whether is be to order food, or reserve a bowling lane or billiards table). This particular trip, a man who doesn't work there, stood up at the main counter and kept the ladies working there occupied with just chitchat. It took my husband forever to get our bowling lane and shoes cause he kept having to try and get their attention away from the non work related conversation. If you come, just be prepared for low quality out of the service staff - but the actual experience is fun. read more

We are a family that loves to go bowling and this bowling lanes sucks, it takes wayyyyy too long for the pins to load and the bowl takes too long to come back. I don't know if it's a strategy to get the game slower so you spend more. Also, floors slippery and dangerous when you are playing . Not coming back read more

Fun place but the service like what everyone is saying..HORRIBLE. I understand that there are a lot of people but we were here until 1am. We ordered 5 shots for my group in the beginning of bowling. The shots didn't come at all. We told the staff. Never came and then they said that they gave the shots to A DIFFERENT GROUP. We played 2 games and IT STILL DIDN'T COME.Then after a while the manager finally talked to us and basically interrogated us. What in the world?!? Then he said that he can't give free liquor. WHAT IN THE WORLD?!?!? YOUR STAFF EVEN SAID THAT IT WAS GOING TO BE ON THE HOUSE. BUT YOU SAY THAT IT IS ILLEGAL THAT YOU COMP THE SHOTS?!?!? Unbelievable. I only give a star just because I had fun playing the games. read more

It's pricey but fun. They have an okay selection of games for all ages. Each power card is $1 and if you put in $75, you get $25 as bonus. I just just went for it and for about 2 hours, I spent about $60. We played a lot of the ticket games and racked up about 1600 points. The prizes are pretty good. I saw a couple buy a freaking Drone lol. They have specials on Mondays where you pay $10 and you can have unlimited games. You can't get tickets but you can play all the video games from 4pm to close. I wish this was more available during the week besides Mondays. Its loud and crowded during the weekends and I think its a fun place to visit during those rainy days. They have laser tag, bowling, food, etc so lots to do in one place. Just come prepared to pay a bit for the entertainment. I would say the alternative is the movies but man a family of 4 will spend a good 50~60 easy. read more

Very poor experience my first trip here with long waits two weeks ago. Selected to try them again with only my son and I. Made our way to the front desk and inquired about the deals for the day. The two kids at the desk sold me on an $18 deal for each player that included everything. He asked for a manager when he could not find the button to ring it up. Then the manager told the cashier that their are no deals for the day and that everything is full price. Which changed the $18 each to $70 each. Manager stated that the only deals this location has is on Mondays.. Place was empty. No one playing games or pool, only a few folks at the bar. So we exited and went to went to D and B, which had tones of more guest than Main Event. With Bowling, games, food I spent $90. Take away the food, and the total was $45. Better experience with DandB. read more

Highly disappointed in Main Event. The bartenders try to make no eye contact and act like they are swamped. It is a nightmare trying to order a drink. Service is very slow if you try to order anything from the servers. Buzzers don't work and when you say something, they don't have a good excuse. Don't fall for the 3 hour pass, everything will be backed up for hours. A police officer came up to my friend and tried to kick him out and got really aggressive out of nowhere. I tried to ask him where this stemmed from, and he decided to go to our entire group to shout at them. Not worth my money or yours. Dave and Busters is a way better experience. read more

Had a group of about 30 tried to call ahead of time to make a reservation was told I didn't need one. Oh how I wish they would have let us make a reservation. We got 4 lanes for an hour the line to pay was very congested. But they did allow us to pay individually and that was awesome. The manager bless her hard did her best to get us checked out and shoes for everyone. Also we were told it would be about and hour b4 we could get out lanes. But the manager moved some stuff around and got us on our lane I about 15 min! I was very happy about that. The food however came out slow but over all we had a great time. read more

Between the broken games that steal your money, the almost entirely absent staff, the long wait times for the rope course despite it being empty, and the bugs in my cup, it's hard to find a nice thing to say about this dump. But at least it's expensive. read more

Surprised to have had a bad experience. Ordered a beer in frame 1 and got it delivered around frame 8. We had four players. Another person ordered a Margarita and got it after we were done and it was clear it sat awhile. Bathrooms were dirty and trays of empty plates and glasses where on half the tables. They offered 30 minutes of arcade play if you registered and the card they gave us had zero minutes. When we asked, they implied we were lying. Then we we go to cash out, they charged us for a glass of wine we didn't order. For such a nice building, was very surprised to have such crappy experience. I won't be back. The manager had an attitude and seemed not care. Either they were were short staffed or just poorly managed. read more

I read the yelp reviews prior to going, & almost didn't go to be honest. We checked in almost immediately, and got our Fun Pass (the pass the included everything). We went to the gravity ropes, then the laser tag, and bowling where we ate lunch. At lunch, Adam was our server, extremely efficient & friendly. Our food was good. After bowling we hung out in the arcade area, before my son wanted to do the ropes again. This time the attendant at the gravity ropes, wasn't as nice, but everyone else was nice there. I guess, I can see what issues could arise. But honestly, it's a new place we will be back. read more

Well well well let's just dive in. I ordered Mac n cheese without meat....they gave it to me with chicken and bacon in it. Someone else in the group ordered bbq boneless wing... they gave him bone-in wings....then they gave him boneless wings but with sriracha sauce. These people get orders wrong more than Mcdonald's. Then I was eating my Mac n cheese and find a short black hair in it (picture inserted). DISGUSTING!!! We also had to get our own Coors light refills. To sum this shoty place up they are slow, get orders wrong and leave hairs in your food. The only reason it's not a zero star if that was possible is because our waiter was super nice. P.S. don't sit by the door if you are a dare devil and decide to go. It's freezing. read more

Main Event Suwanee - Bowling Near Me - Suwanee, Georgia

You literally are begging people to take your order. They don't. We completed 2 rounds of bowling and still hadn't put in our order. I went to the counter to try to do self service and they just say they will get a server to us. All the employees are teenagers who stand around on their cell phones. They walk right through your game for no reason. There was no customer service. No manners. It was horrible. Don't do it to yourself. Don't ruin a birthday by having it here. read more

This place is horrible, we ordered to go bowling but didn't say we had a party. They ignored us and put people who had a birthday party in-front of us even though we had signed up first. Absolutely unacceptable and we were postponed 5 hours for the gravity ropes on arrival read more

Update to my previous 1 star review. We decided to give them another chance..It took an entire year to come back. I do appreciate the managers actually reaching out to us on regards to our past experience. They even offered to make it right. But since we waited so long to revisit we decided to fund it ourselves. So sad to report that the only change was the every other game being off I assume due to covid-19 distancing. However the others ones weren't working either. Some games took credits and didn't turn on. The solution to that is go to the winners circle and they will put the credits back. How do you have time to play if you are constantly having to request credit refunds?? Eventually we gave up leading to lost money on cards we no longer wanted to use and decided to continue our Valentine's Day elsewhere. I have always enjoyed the bowling and drinks..and the food has been decent. But I will not return for the arcade side of things. read more

We have the best time at Main Event! Great atmosphere, staff and facility! So much to do for the family and the kids love it! Not only did our waiter give us extra points for the kids to play games, but the manager came over since we were celebrating a birthday and gave us 30 minutes free cards for each kid. This place goes above and beyond! read more

I never write a reveiw before but this is a must to let you know how rude and ridiculous the particular staff is. Her name is Chace, she pushed my son and asked him to go away when he talked to his friend at gravity rope. He is just 8 year old kid. Is it necessary to push a kid? What kind of treatment is that? She should not be working at the kid environment place if she cant be nice to kids... If I can give 0 star, I would be more than happy to do it.. read more

This is an awesome place for bowling, they do unlimited bowling by the hour which is usually just enough time and for two people you can easily complete 2-3 games. They have a few other billiard games by the bar. Haven't tried the food, the laser tag was okay but I think it's better for larger groups or younger kids. read more

this place SUCKS. the people working here need to be fired, every single one. not a single one smiled at us or helped us in a kind manner, they all had attitudes or stood around talking when we clearly needed help, then when we'd ask they would be assholes. half the laser tag vests were broken, it was a two hour wait for bowling and the service was just plain awful, ive never had such bad service from so many people in one place. they need to do a better job at hiring people. do not waste your time or money here. read more

First time visiting, overpriced, games not working (basketball, air hokey, skeet ball) however machine still take money. You have to fine waitstaff to refund money. When you have children wanting to play this cause frustration. I'm going back to D&B read more

What a waste of $$$!!! $50 for my 5 yr old & I to bowl for 1 hour. There's a Brunswick Zone up the road that is like $2 per game per person. I could've bowled all day there. A certain group of people who don't understand etiquette and personal space kept walking into my lane. They needed to take their 500 photos. So we went to the arcade after our 1 hour was over. $1.50 + for a game that lasts about 45 seconds. My son got a toy from the crane game so he was happy. We left and went to the McDonalds across the street. My son enjoyed the playground at McDonalds more than his time at Main Event. Another rip off family fun center. For this $$$, I could've gone to Six Flags. read more

Never coming here again. It was super slow on a weekday afternoon and it took me 30mins to find someone to take my order. I go to the bar and sit for 20 of those minutes only for the bartender to tell me he'll send a server to my bowling lane to take my order. Even after that I still had to ask someone else to get me a server. Then as we get ready to leave, I had to track down the server to pay for my food! I could've easily walked out but they're lucky I try to be a good person. Nonetheless, never coming back! read more

Very nice place with very careless staff. You'll have a good time if you manage to interact with staff the least possible. The food is barely edible and the drinks are good as long as you don't order anything that needs preparation. We ordered a half and half pizza and they just grabbed an old pepperoni and threw vegetables on one half and reheated. It was horrible. Told the waitress, she said she'll tell the manager but didn't. We told the manager and he said he'll take care of it and did nothing. Come here and enjoy the games but avoid the staff and any elaborate foot or drinks. read more

Ok!! I am so shocked that this place only has a star & a half!! My boyfriend & I went yesterday & we seriously had the BEST time!!! I felt like a kid again! We did the bungee obstacle course, laser tag, played arcade games & bowled!!! The deals were pretty good! I don't feel like we spent a lot of money for the amount of fun that we had! We also watched the World Cup game w some beers & wings! The staff was super friendly!! One of the games we paid for broke but staff came to our rescue & fixed it for us with a smile!! The concept is GREAT here! I would totally go back! read more

Ok so I was here for my team event from worj and Nicole made this experience AMAZING!!! Like she is super nice, fun and personable!!!

Today was my first time coming, and I was a little skeptical about my date's place of choice after reading the reviews. However, we had a great time. We bowled, played pool, and laser tagged for 8hrs. We did choose the unlimited option for about $25 per person. We ordered food, and the service was great. In fact, all service was great from the food, the bar, and the lady that was in charge of laser tag. Some of the laser vests weren't working properly, and she changed it out right away. There were lots of bday parties and lots of children running around, but I didn't find it bothersome. I would definitely come here again. read more

Nice place to go with kids. A nice deal is the dinner + plus $10 game card. Service at the restaurant is prompt. They need to tell you up front when the zip line is broken before they charge you full price for the ropes course. Still need to work out some kinks but it's clean and the kids love it. I wished they brought back the play unlimited games for a set price with no tickets. read more

Main Event Suwanee - Check in area - Bowling Near Me - Suwanee, Georgia

Save your money. Went to bowl with my family. There was a wait, so we purchased arcade cards to play some arcade games. Should not have bothered, flushed the money right down the toilet. Literally everything is broken. Always in their favor, of course. It takes your money and then doesn't work. When you alert employees, they say they will be right over then disappear, then when you finally flag them down for the second or third time, they don't care or refund your credit after you stand there waiting on them. The ones that appear to work, the tickets do not add to your card. When we were bowling, the bowling alley was broken more than it was working. Same with those next to us. You are on a timer, you play by the hour. Each time it breaks you wait 15 minutes at least for them to come look, then they fiddle with it for awhile. I had to ask them to give back some time each time, they didn't care to make it right on their own, no apologies, zero cares given. I think they are so used to it being that way, not a good sign. Came home with half the money still on arcade cards, with no intent to go back. Couldn't use it, nothing works, and got tired of waiting on employees who did not care and didn't refund anyway. read more

This was my first time at Main Event and unfortunately, it was disappointing. Having experience working in the restaurant industry, I'm usually really understanding and try to relate to the servers and bartenders. I did my best to find patience this time but was unable to relate to this service. For starters, the bathroom was disgusting. I was only able to find one stall with toilet paper out of maybe 10? I understand the place is filled with kids who probably made the mess but no one cleaned up after it or bothered to add toilet paper or refill the soap. My friend and I waited over an hour for 3 sliders. When we asked to speak to a manager, he seemed less than accommodating and almost shocked/annoyed that we were unhappy. The bus boy was great though. We made sure to tip him as he was the only person who cared about our service. Hopefully, we just caught them on a bad day. read more

This is by far the worst place when it comes to service. We sat down for food and it took them one hour to bring our drinks. On top of that they had the nerve to serve people that came 45 minutes after us with their food. I will not recommend or will ever come back here. Poor management. read more

Just opened in Suwanee. You can see the lights from L'ville Suwanee Rd. Inviting on the outside but the inside tells a different story. Deciding to checkout the food/menu - we order what looked like Chef specials. $14 for Salmon $11 for Burger with no cheese. 35 minutes later the food came and it was cold and hard as a rock - Yikes! If our are looking a late/night bite, don't bother with this place. Save your money. This review is all about their food & service. read more

I've come to this location on several occasions and when I went Christmas night with my boyfriend, we had the WORST experience by the gentleman working the bar (unfortunately, I didn't get his name) and by one of the managers working that night, Linda, who's name I was able to get. My boyfriend and I luckily found an open spot by the bar because, as you could imagine, Main Event was pretty live (busy) that night. We sat for more than over 5 minutes before the bartender (a tall man with a small beard and glasses), who constantly walked by us without saying anything, finally stopped where we were and took my boyfriend's food and drink order. Simple nachos and a sweet tea. Fairly basic. Well, another 5... 10 minutes go by and still not even a drink. I managed to get the manager's attention... long enough for her to give me the "wait a moment" finger (no eye contact, no smile, nada) and walked off without another word. At this point, I'm ready to go to the Waffle House down the block because I know we wouldn't have seen the behavior exhibited here, there. My boyfriend wants to wait a little while longer. Almost 10 minutes later, again, I'm over it and I tell him I'm ready to walk out. We watched this bartender take orders, refill orders, give patrons their check and AVOID our area of the bar for nearly 10 minutes. We both work in the food industry and this type of behavior is BEYOND unacceptable. Not only that, but it is incredibly rude to treat people like that, particularly considering the industry. Had he had at least one other bartender, it may have gone differently. This experience definitely put a SOUR taste in my mouth for this location. Looks like we'll be spending our time at another location or Dave & Buster's from now on. Please. Do better. read more

I was trying to think of something different to do with the kids that would be a fun way to spend time together. I should have read the revues. Beyond terrible food!!! The waitress brought the food to the tables where we were bowling. She did not bring silverware. About 15-20 minutes later she showed up with 2 forks and 2 knives. She said, " Sorry it took so long, I had to wash them." The pretzel came out without anything. I asked where the cheese and mustard were. She said she was working on getting those warmed up. When she finally brought those the cheese was like yellow water and she said they were out of the mustard. The lanes are small so if you rent one lane you will have other people on top of you. The seating in the lanes was very poorly designed. Not worth the money at all!!! read more

Management sucks! The place is well kept, clean, and nicely decorated with good amount of game machines and bowling isles too. I would love to take my kid back here and hang out with friends and family here but the SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! Not that people work here have attitude or anything, they are all nice, it's just there's not enough people working! I'm going to be fair and honest here, the limited number of staff they put on the schedule there are all nice and professional, but even one person told me she's not the server but they are so short staffed she had to do what's best. It is not the employees fault, this is management! I don't know who is managing this place or who is the corporate of this place, but whoever that's in charge needs to get their act together and hire more people. Stop being cheap and tacky. You are running a place that relies on customer service and you have not enough to do just that? What a shame. read more

The service makes this place terrible. I've been here on three separate occasions and each time I have been more than disappointed in the service. The server told me and my friend to go to the bar for drinks while we were bowling because the server was busy. Not only was he lazy, but we had to approach him after not even being greeted in our lane. Add to that the fact that we wasted 10 minutes of our bowling time just to get drinks, and we were not satisfied. Bowling is always fun, but it's disappointing to know these people don't take pride in their workplace, and, therefore, make it look unappealing. On a more recent visit, my mom and I came to play pool. When we inquired if we could pay for additional playing time ahead of time (we were told it was 45 cents per minute after the first half hour regardless of how long we played, and we wanted to buy an additional half hour after our first 30 minutes because it would be cheaper in the long run), we were met with confused looks and a robotic statement that was both unhelpful and unrelated to our question. It's like these servers can't think for themselves... we also saw employees on their phones and meandering around like it was a bother for them to be at work. I understand this may not be their career (or dream) job, but it reflects poorly on the company and affects future business when customers don't enjoy their experiences. Management really needs to step up their training protocols and/or hire employees with more dignity. This place has potential to be great, but it's just not there at this time. read more
