Contract issues--they threatened to send to collection rather than make adjustments to timing of services after my wife died. Pretty sad, actually. Cleaning was generally ok, sometimes not as good as other times. Not a good value for me. Read the contract and know what you are signing. Actually, I would not sign anything. I would not use them again and would not recommend. read more

I signed to have a recurring cleaning once a month at my house. The first cleaning was fine but there were 4 people at my house with a supervisor. Every clean afterwards was poorly done with bathrooms not even cleaned. I asked that I have the same people clean my house but I never once had the same people. Most of the cleaners looked unkempt and no one I would have wanted in my house. I tried to cancel the cleaning but the company claimed the "contract" said I would have to pay for all the remaining cleanings for the rest of the year which added up to 3000. Yes, they wanted me to pay them not to come to my house. After continued complaints and even having cleaners steal from my house, the owner disguised himself as their "legal department" and threatened to sue me. I asked over and over to speak to him but he refused. The owner advertises his military background as a highlight but ends up making himself look even more embarrassing with his behavior. read more

Maid to Satisfy are terrible. Do not hire them. Their practices are unethical. July 2020 I hired them to clean my house before I hosted my wedding out of it. They sent four efficient women who did a great job. This spring when we decided to invest in a monthly cleaning, we went back to them. It was terrible. First off, they said it was $90/hr and I could state how long the cleaning would be. They did not share that it's a minimum of 3 hours and you get charged whether or not you use them. Second, in March they sent two kids. One was a hard worker and one kept needing either me or the other kid to remind her to work. She also complained the whole time that my house was dusty. It was! That's why I hired them! Super unprofessional. In April, they called while I was at work and asked if I could leave work to let them come early. I did so and then they showed up at the regular time, anyway. I also discovered later that although I asked them to move the small end tables (and to let me know if I needed to move them) so they could swiffer the whole floor (they refused to wet mop), they had told me they did, but did not. In May they cancelled the appointment. In June I cancelled the appointment due to a family crisis. They added an extra month to my contract. Apparently they can cancel with less than 24 hours notice and have no repercussions, but I can't cancel with a week's notice. In July they called less than 24 hours in advance to ask if they could show up any time between 6-9 instead of 2-5. I said no, that's when we feed our son and put him to bed. They showed up at 7 PM, anyway. We asked them to just do the floors and kitchen stove and counter tops because we needed to feed our son and put him to bed. Look at the pictures to see how they did. They still charged us $284 for less than an hour of half-assed cleaning. I canceled our contract and now they want us to pay out the balance--$2700. They immediately sent the note to collections and wouldn't even deal with us when we explained that their service was unsatisfactory, but we were willing to cut a deal to get it over with. read more

READ The BBB. This company is terrible, they charge you for everything and if you sign a contract, beware! Actually don't do business with them. Inconsistent staff, terrible ownership, and will get lawyers involved immediately if you even sniff wanting to change something read more

They sign in my guest book and don't make the beds or dust or mop and then dry mop properly . They follow me around bothering me and left the trash bag on my front porch instead of walking it to the cans on the driveway. Sometimes they eat my candy at the front door for guests. They get paid a lot and don't do what we discussed in the original contract. read more

This is, by far, the worst cleaning service I've ever used!!! Bath tubs not clean, trash still on the floor, sheets thrown over the mattress and not tucked or straightened. Baseboards and windows not cleaned. All of this even after I specifically asked for it to be done. Customer satisfaction is a joke; save your money and use another company. read more

Maid to Satisfy - This is how they changed my linen. - Home Cleaning Near Me - Canton, Ohio

BE WARNED-YOU ARE ENTERING ROUGH WATERS. SIGN NO CONTRACT. Simply stated worse cleaning experience ever. One cleaner cleaned while the orher had no clue. Left food in sink, moped kitchen floor while there was still dirt and debris present, left trash on tables, put FITTED SHEET UNDER MATRESS COVER -I could not find the sheet for an hour. Lol. Food stains I refrigerator. Had to ask them to use cleaners and soap. No fresh smell anywhere. Very unfortunate. Hope things get better. Would avoid company like the plague. Ohh...and they did not clean toilet bowl or shower frame. Oh, and if you have the pleasure of speaking with Anthony, you will quickly learn the value of customer service as he has none. Beware. This company locks you into an agreement, & forgets you are the customer. There were several times that I needed to change my schedule, they wanted to charge me a fee for changing my schedule or tack it to the end of the agreement. When they couldn't make it - no big deal, no credits, nothing. Furthermore on many occasions they completely forgot rooms, and. They were willing to send someone several days later to clean them but come on...... Be very careful and understand that they will threaten you if you want to end your agreement. read more

I have had cleaning services for the better part of 20 years. Coming from Los Angeles, I was ready to pay a premium so when I was quoted $164 I was not phased. However, this is by far THE worst company and service I have ever dealt with. First, on the day when the two young ladies arrived to give us our "free quote", they had me sign a contract prior to them even cleaning one time. That is my fault, I shouldn't have done that and I know better. However, they seemed legitimate and like a reputable company. Verbally, I was told that I could change the services/areas that would be cleaned each time, I could substitute areas, etc. That is not the case. You are bound to a year-long contract and they do NOT provide the services they claim to provide. After the very FIRST horrible cleaning - they don't move items to dust, they don't clean above a certain height so forget tall windows being down, they finish a 3,500 square foot home in less than 2 hours which says a lot about the quality, they don't do baseboards if you ask, etc. - I called to cancel. I was threatened via email, and sent to an "attorney" for the company who was flippant and rude via email. They told me that I had to pay for the entire year if I canceled. I explained that they sold me on false information and representation, and they continued to threaten me. I was later told that the two original young ladies who explained the services to me were fired...hmmmmm. I was still told that I could not cancel and that they would charge me for the entire year...after ONE cleaning. I also asked if it were possible to have the same two cleaners come each time because I don't like complete strangers in my house each month, I was told no. So, I let the second cleaning happen...horrible. Again. Different girls. I called, complained, and was told that i'm receiving a "great" price for my house and that they are a company that needs to make money. I explained that I didn't even have them clean my entire house because they did such a terrible job...nothing changes. Do NOT hire this company. It is HORRIBLE. read more

Our first cleaning was phenomenal, our house was cleaned perfectly with attention to detail to every room. Given the level of service we signed a 12 month agreement to have our home cleaned every two weeks. For our second cleaning, there were several basic items missed and damage to a new piece of furniture. I called and sent in photos and was advised a different crew would come out to complete the cleaning per the 24 hour satisfaction guarantee. After receiving a few call backs from the company, I was advised that regardless of what the first cleaning involved time frame why's and what was actually cleaned that other cleanings could take anywhere and I quote from 4 minutes to 3 hours, I explained that is not what was quoted to us as cleaning time would be booked for 2 hours of house cleaning with a team of 2, ie 4 hours of house cleaning, I advised that today they were here (timing from our security system) just over 1 hour and 10 minutes. Being very displeased with the service provided and several basic items not being cleaned and the inaccuracy of the verbal information provided to us at the time of signing the contract we requested to cancel and just pay the non-contract rate for today's cleaning and the first cleaning, I was advised that the contract is in force and that the account would be sent to collections within 10 days if not paid in full and that they receive several checks each year from attorneys who have collected balances from broken contract, ie basically a threat and then told that I was being rude on the phone, I explained not being rude but yes direct as my personal property was damaged and services not completed as agreed. I was informed that they had spoken with the cleaning crew and they said they did not damage anything and than I was asked how I thought it happened and had to explain I had no idea as it is new furniture and was not damaged this morning before the crew arrived. Resolution from the company was to resend a different crew out to clean in 2 days, a $50 credit and to update their computer system to reflect what was on the initial paperwork that we agreed to at time of signing for what would be cleaned, they stated it was a human error. read more

Team was professional , thorough,Good listening skills, did not have to repeat tasks.

The staff was very unprofessional, and I was not pleased with the cleaning job they did. They also failed to tell me that there was a 3-hour minimum even though they were only there an hour and a half!!! I felt like I got ripped off since I still had to pay for all three hours!! Will definitely be finding a new cleaning service. read more

The biggest waste of money I have ever experienced! They have been coming to our home for one long year (careful not to sign a contract); during that time never has our home been properly cleaned. Note to self: always look at Yelp before hiring anyone or any service. Three people, two of them very sweet, came today, but neglected to do several basic things--most irksome, not cleaning the toilet bowl even though they broke the (already wobbly) toilet seat and left it askew! I was able to get out of the contract since I just signed it today, thank God, but still had to pay the difference between the one-time cleaning cost and what I'd been quoted for setting up biweekly cleanings. read more

I am terminally ill and can not do even minimal chores. I hire them because I wanted an established company and thought they would do more then I could. I never have the same girls and they don't seem to be very well trained, so I have to go over things every other week. They are not very good and I am locked in for another 10 months. Tried to change my day because of a problem and was told I would still have to pay for the day I couldn't be here because they didn't have 3 days notice. They were here today and after they left I still had bits and pieces sticking to my feet. There were still puddles on the kitchen floor 2 hours after they left. Whatever cleaning product they use leaves powdery streaks on every surface, and there are still tooth past splatters on the bathroom sink. Don't fall into their trap. read more

Worried about COVID and people coming in your home They didn't give me any reassurance. Never again. they also charged me 80 an hour and didn't even do both sides of windows. Left them cash and they didn't feel it was necessary to leave me a receipt Shame on you Buyers beware read more

I had just moved into an unclean apartment, and so I hired Maid to Satisfy to come scrub it. They showed up a little later than I expected, but they did a good job. However, after they left, I noticed our floors were still dirty. Granted, they are old floors in need of refinishing and probably haven't been scrubbed in years. I called Maid to Satisfy and they sent the team back that afternoon with a heavy duty floor cleaner and redid the floors for me with no additional charge. read more

Do not hire this company to clean your home. They are terrible...worst cleaning I've ever had. When they 1st quoted me it was going to be $214. It only took them two hours to clean my house. Then when I wouldn't sign the contract they charged me more than $380 for two hours of work. After they left I went through my house and there were three rooms they missed three area rugs they did not sweep I have 12 ladder back chairs that were not dusted a bit. And they missed mopping my foyer the dirtiest ceramic tile in my house. Two days after the cleaning we left for Florida for two weeks. They only fix what they miss within five days of the cleaning. I will never called them again and I hope none of you do too. I am an honest God-fearing woman and I'm telling you this is truly how this situation with maid to satisfy went down. HORRIBLE COMPANY - Feels like a SCAM!! Be careful they are also going by the name Maid2Satisfy. Unethical, bad practices, and BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I make no comment on their cleaners but their office practices are as unethical as they come. SCAM IN THE TRUEST SENSE. They cancelled on me during the time they were scheduled to provide cleaning services. The reschedule they could offer was 24 hours later however, it did not fit my needs (customer) so I told them I'd need to confirm. They booked it anyways. I called several times that morning to cancel but no answer. Left an email and was promptly told that I'd be charged the cancellation fee. Their policy is 72 hours, but THEY CANCELD ON ME without even 1 hour's notice. I asked to talk about why I'm being charged a cancellation fee and asked them to consider that I COULDN'T MEET THE POLICY under the circumstances. IT WAS A NO-WIN SITUATION. That's why this feels like a scam. I was going to be charged regardless, when I finally got someone to answer my call they threated to throw me right to collection even though the due date of the invoice hadn't hit. THEY ARE NOT BBB ACCREDITED. I cannot believe they haven't been shut down. read more

Dependable, flexible, always quick to reply and reasonably priced!

If I could give zero stars I would. The owner Anthony, is all in all a terrible human being who has no respect for women let alone another breathing person. Not only do almost all employees complain about their job to coworkers but to customers as well, I only bring this up because I was told me saying The job is not what I expected it to be, was complaining about the job in front of other employees! I worked with this company for 2 weeks, decided I didn't like it for MANY reasons and still was professional and polite. After putting my two weeks in I was informed i am being let go simply so He didn't have to pay me the agreed wage. When confronted he said "I can pay you what I want" simply because I said I didn't like the job! I put a two weeks notice in and simply said it was not my cup of tea. They do not pay for the hours scheduled! Office staff determines hours off of paperwork!!! Terrible company to work for!! Of course I cannot stop any of you from applying but if I save one person from this awful excuse for a company, it will be worth it. Ladies of the office staff were all pleasant and helpful but Anthony, the Owner has no regard for other people's lives including his own employees. read more

I have used Maid to Satisfy for 8 months and cannot wait for this contract to end. I have a 1400 sq ft home, very simple one floor. They do the minimum for paying the max! Oftentimes there is dust under furniture, dust bunny still on floor. They do not arrange toss pillows/throws and that tells me they couldn't possibly vacuum upholstry. I've had to ask for them to please sweep under furniture! Seldom do I have same people come which I understand that good help is hard to come by but I question how MUCH THEY ARE TRAINED. They are usually young girls, though sweet, they seem so unaware of what they are required to do. The bathroom seems like their best job done. Kitchen is usually done well. Previous cleaning services had no contract, always left my house like a little designer home, toilet paper creased, pillows arranged, pictures and things put in a clever tasteful arrangement and the house smelling clean. I do Job placement volunteer work and it is so important that I place people in jobs that match their skills. Training is paramount. If this business wants to be outstanding, they have a lot of work to do. They did not show up for a recent appointment. They said they tried to call and did leave a message. No message or calls on my phone. I asked what phone number they called....it was not my number. I tried to cancel my contract and they said I would have to pay out the remaining months! So disappointed! read more

The lack of quality and constant threats of legal action is troubling. I had Maid to Satisfy Cleaning Company come clean my home , I signed a piece of paper but was not told that I was signing a year contract., I thought it was service agreement that stated what the duties the cleaning girls were going to perform. I was never given a copy of the contract they said I signed. I was not told by anyone at the company I was signing a contract!!. I called the company and told them I was not happy with the cleaning and would not be using there service any longer. I was then told that I signed a contract and if I discontinued their service I owed them thousands of dollars for cleanings I agreed to by contract, but that have not been done because I cancelled the contract. I told the representative that I was unable to pay that amount of money. Two different people from the company have called several times demanding their money. I also have several troubling and harassing text messages detailing how satisfied the owner will be once we are in court over the matter. They have threatened me and are harassing me. The owner's text threats of taking me to court are the most troubling out of all of this. He obviously has pulled this scheme before and thinks he is untouchable. The company is dishonest, trys to get you to sign a contract then send to collections as quickly as possible AND does a terrible job cleaning. read more

I hired this company to do a "move out" cleaning of my home for the new owner. What a mistake. The scheduler (Stewart) didn't comply with my request for a first appointment on the date specified. I ended up being in limbo until late morning. The cleaning crew got lost and was late, (but called). I left two products for them to use in cleaning of the home. I requested that they leave them for the new owner (pretty sure THAT didn't happen!) I left the home in their hands. The new owner was coming in three hours. I paid them for two hours cleaning. (185.00 approximately). I received a text from the real estate agent handling the sale of the home saying that a package had arrived for me, so I made arrangements to pick it up. While I was there, I asked the new owners about the condition of the house when they took ownership. I'm so disappointed (and so were they). It appears that only the floors were done. And the products I left for them???? What a scam this company is. i guess it is not surprising that they aren't affiliated with the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! read more

Pros: 2 young girls came to clean our home. very kind and respectful girls. and they were on time. I made the mistake of letting this company clean my 1000 square foot rental condo in Stow on 9-23-2020. I also made the mistake letting them work in the vacant condo unsupervised. When I went to the condo the day after the cleaning I immediately noticed that the tile grout was still dirty. I called and talked to Danielle and she said they do not clean grout. I had another appointment and did not inspect the rest of the cleaning until a few days later. When I did look more closely the results were terrible. The light fixtures in the bathroom, the towel racks in the bathrooms, the top of the refrigerator, the top of the range hood, the blades of the ceiling fan had not been dusted at all. The stainless appliances looked like someone took a wet rag and smeared it quickly across the stainless. Streaky and not cleaned. Food stains still on the fridge. The storage are under the over was not cleaned at all. There were broken spaghetti noodles and other debris on the floor of the kitchen pantry. There is more but you get the idea. I called and spoke with Danielle and sent her pictures. Her manager got on the phone and told me there was nothing they could do except give me a coupon for a future cleaning. I told him I just wanted the cleaning that I already paid for to be done properly. He got really smart and said I didn't call within the 24 hour period after the cleaning. I told him I lived out of town and just now checked their work. He again got smart and said there was nothing he could do. This was a terrible job of cleaning and terrible customer service. I have pictures of all this. They had three people spend 2.75 hours on this little condo and I had to go in myself and spend hours doing the work I paid them to do. read more

We signed up for 120 min cleaning every other week and beyond the first cleaning we have not had more than 90 minutes, thus receiving 75% of what we're paying for on the agreement and first work order with Maid to Satisfy. Our work order states either "wants 2 hours" or "2-3 hours" in their own employees hand writing on the work order. Consulting an attorney. Brought up cancelling and all M2S fall back on is the One Year Agreement and turning us over to collections... Something sounds way too fishy about this company. If BBB can't make this work then I will connect with the State Attorney General's Office. Seems too easy to sign people up for a "one year contract", provide poor quality service until people want to cancel. Feel sorry for the employees depending on this paycheck. read more

To make a long story short, I paid for a house cleaning as a gift to my mom, and my mom wasn't pleased with the work that was done. This is not even what is causing me to give them a 1-star rating. Aside from the lackluster job, "Anthony" (most likely the same guy I spoke to originally named Stuart; self-proclaimed General Manager) was the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. For someone in Customer Service, I was shocked at his tone and overall word choice when discussing the issue. He even said, "I already know where this is going... I've dealt with a lot of (customers) like you", which leads me to believe issues such as my mother's are normal for Maid to Satisfy, and that this business does not care at all to live up to its name. read more

One star is generous. I hired this company to clean my house before a move. Instead of cleaning I found the employees sitting in a room talking. I called their supervisor but got little change. Instead, he called me every name in the book including an idiot, moron, dumb a$$ and then told me to " go f myself". Seriously, this is the treatment I received.
