For the cleaning that they did, I thought they were overpriced. The owner was really nice and called me back after I told him about the concerns I had over the cleaning. They did not wipe down the kitchen counters at all and the master bathroom shower stall floor was not cleaned. They did a really nice job with the kids bedrooms and the kids bathroom. This used to be the best cleaning service about a year ago when they had Kaylee. Today I am horribly upset. I had a cleaner who came to my home, immediately told me what she did not do, speak on the telephone the entire time, then leave without even doing basic cleaning. The situation left my high and dry with a dinner party happening in a few hours. TJ is still very good, but I am so sad that the business seems to have changed. However, my suggestion is to only book during the week, I think the weekend cleaners may not be as optional as the m-f people. Used to be so great. read more

I used them for a few months but had too many issues with them. The owner is kind of a hot mess- he tried to charge me a higher rate than advertised/discussed and he never answers the phone, plus they also kept charging my credit card even though I never agreed to have it on file and only gave them the number over the phone once (and I was paying via check), so they clearly wrote it down and kept it. The final straw was the cleaning lady not showing up on her normal day when I had guests coming in town, even though I had texted her a million times about it and she had been coming every 3 weeks for months. The owner said he had it on his calendar for every 4 weeks (he's clearly not in touch with his people) and they did nothing to make it right, screwing me and I had to try to clean my house in 3 hours with my 4 month old crying. read more

It was, just like the company name, very easy to book! They were able to book us the same week. The girls who cleaned our home arrived on time and immediately went to work. We gave them a list of priority things we wanted them to clean, with secondary "get-to-it-if-you-have-time list" and sure enough they hit every item on the list! We had Tiffany as our cleaner and she was great. Michael is incredibly communicative and worked with us and our shifting timeframe due to a changing closing date. We were very happy with the level of cleaning. Our 3/2 1500' condo took about 2.5 hours to cleaning (including add-on services for the windows, oven, and fridge cleanings). I realize that BME is maybe used to cleaning incredibly dirty properties and ours was already fairly clean, so I would just recommend to potential customers that you really consider what level of cleaning you need so as not to overpay. If you need a deep scrubbing, get it and you won't be disappointed. If your place is already fairly clean, then scale back the level of services you book. read more

The first group of women (2) that came to the house did an ok job but missed a lot of things and I don't know if they really addressed "deep clean" needs for the house. The home was not particularly messy but several windows, floorboards, and things I'd assumed would be cleaned were not really addressed consistently or in full. The stairs were vacuumed but still had a ton of dog hair. Apparently there was a miscommunication in how long they were supposed to be cleaning because they left after 3 hours with the home incompletely cleaned. The owner Michael called almost immediately with concerns and promised to send his lead team out to remedy the situation which I very much appreciated. The second group that came back a few days later - Victoria and Tiffany - were much more thorough and seemed to know what they were doing. I didn't ask them to remedy all the problems from the first clean because I wasn't sure if they were going to do a "deep clean" or what they were supposed to end up doing. Perhaps the experience was also my fault because we are not used to having cleaning people and I wasn't sure how what was appropriate to request the second team to do. The experience was definitely improved from a disappointing one, but ultimately also when I had purchased a Yelp deal for a slight discount - I ended up paying more than I expected because I had to tip two teams instead of one. I think if I had had the second team initially the review would have been a 4 or 5 star review. Customer service from Michael was great though and he was exceptionally responsive. If I were to go with a specific team from Booking Maid I would request Victoria and Tiffany specifically. read more

Kaylie was punctual, attentive, polite, and did a very good job with what she had to work with, including scrubbing his kitchen cabinets. I urge anyone who wants to use this company for a post construction clean of a remodeled house to view the pictures I have attached to their Thumbtack site. The 1st appointment the whole house would be completely cleaned and then it would all be done again on the 2nd appointment to ensure all dust was completely gone. I have worked directly one on one with my well known local contractor for over 3 months now, who has done an amazing job on our home Remodel. When I checked in on them before class I saw the girl using my brand new bar stools as a ladder, my contractor also told me this when I asked. They were cleaning all the kitchen cupboards and told me the basement was finished. I came back late that night to check on things and the insides of the kitchen cupboards looked great and the house smelled very good. My contractor said they were only there perhaps 4-4.5 hours which is not near enough time to comeptelty deep clean a house over 3,000 square feet and that was remodeled. I noticed the laundry room wasn't done at all nor was the living room, including window sills and fireplace mantle. The granite counters still had a dusty film on them. The floors appeared clean until I looked at them in daylight the next day. I reached out to Michael and Lisa who said they'd have it all handled for the 2nd appt and said the girls approached this differently than should've been done. I was paying $770 for this. I went back the next day during daylight and stood up on a step stool and noticed the top of the kitchen cupboards filled with dust, toilet bowels not well cleaned and mold on the basement shower drain. I texted Michael these photos and stressed my concerns and requested a new team come out because I didn't feel comfortable with the same girls coming back to my house after I reported them to Michael. Michael called me and his first question to me (rather than apologizing for his teams poor job) was questioning me and my contractor asking me how well I knew him (my contractor has absolutely no benefit of lying to me and saying that he only saw the girls clean the kitchen and kinda sweap the floors and saw them go in the basement. It would not affect him in anyway to say they did a great or poor job. Michael immediately sided with the girls saying my contractor wasn't telling the truth (the customer should never be questioned- especially after sending pictures of the poor job done). He told me the girls said they never cleaned the laundry room or living room and agreed the toilets should've been cleaned better, as well as basement shower and the tops of the kitchen cupboards (but he did make the excuse that the cupboards tops were too far out of reach- even though they were well made known that even the living room windows were 18ft high and I was told that'd be no issue to be cleaned). He also agreed the girls shouldn't have been on my bar stools but told me they said they were only knealing on them (either way for a post construction clean up proper equipment such as ladders should be brought and used- not customers furniture). I told him I'd like a new team to come out and he said that the girls were the best he had (again, see pictures attached). I said I wanted a refund and would use someone else. He said he'd only refund me $570 since they did do work that day and that since I said the kitchen looked good (prior to me checking the tops of the cupboards the next day during daylight). Michael and Lisa can continue to accuse my contractor of not telling the truth and saying the dust had just resettled instead of realizing their team just did a vey poor job. With having a 100% satisfactory agreement it should include the capability of a new team coming out. I am sure the girls were made known that I complained so therefore I did not feel comfortable with the same girls coming back to my house when no one would be home to supervise. Michael never once apologized to me over the phone about the poor job- all he did was question my relationship with the contractor and played the game of he said/she said. When a customer expresses concern of what really was cleaned during a $770 cleaning service and sends proof of the poor job done, you don't accuse the customer. Was hoping for a much better outcome for something that was supposed to be "post construction" clean. He kept saying he wanted to make things right but you can never make things right when you are blaming the customer and the contractor even after being sent photos. They removed my review off their Facebook page and blocked me and family members from it. I caution everyone to solely not rely on their Facebook page reviews or any site that allows the employers to delete negative comments. read more
