Contacted them on a Tuesday and arranged for a cleaning that Friday. I asked Hazel the name of the cleaner so I'd know who to expect. She told me her name is Lena. Thursday evening, around 9:00, I get a call from Al. He tells me that he is the dispatcher for the company. He said that he sees the job is planned for 7 hours and that the cleaner who is scheduled (Lena) is an older lady and that she might not be up for a job of that length. I told him that I do want the best job possible. So, I'd postpone based on his advice. But also pointed out that 9PM the night before I'm expecting the cleaning was not great. He said he completely understood and said they'd make it up to me (he didn't say exactly, but implied a break on the price). That certainly doesn't make up for me losing a day that I cleared for the service. But it would have been appreciated. We scheduled for Monday, 9AM. On Monday, 9:00 came and went. I contacted Hazel and she said that Al had booked me for Tuesday! I asked if she could get me someone for Monday. She said she couldn't. So, another day lost! But she promised that I'd have a cleaner first thing on Tuesday. As before, I asked who I should be expecting. She said "Lena". I asked if all the cleaners were named Lena! She got really indignant as if I was the one who messed up. They cost me 2 full business days (delayed the job 4 calendar days) supposedly to get me a more appropriate cleaner and they wind up sending the original cleaner! She arrived on time. That's about the only positive thing that can be said. The place was less dirty when she left. But that's about it. Certainly not a job anyone should be proud of. Nor would anyone be happy to receive it. After it was finally finished, Hazel (owner? Manager?) began barraging me with texts and phone calls trying to convince me that I was wrong in my dissatisfaction. I was showing her all the cat fur on sofa cushions. She gave me this long-winded story about how when someone cleans, it kicks up dust (and pet hair) which then falls from the upper floor to the lower floor. Given that the stairway is at the opposite end of the house from the sofa, the fur would have needed a breeze with a very specific agenda for the fur to get all the way over there. I'm gonna go with: it just wasn't cleaned! She was telling me that she could see the difference of before and after because the cleaner videoed my house for her. How invasive is that!!!! Creepy and probably illegal! Even if Hazel is correct and another run-through would get the place really clean, how can I use them for that? They stood me up twice on 1 job!!!
