Walked in for eyebrow waxing, and the lady told me to wait 15 minutes as she was working on someone's nails. Cool so I sat and waited. There was another male employee as well who wasn't working on anyone. Another lady walked in after me for a pedi, and they immediately say her down. No heads up or letting me know when they would assist me. I don't recommend for pedicures at all. I came in for a pedicure over the weekend. Told the tech my big toes hurt, was afraid they'd be ingrown. 1. They don't use those plastic bags on their spa chairs. When I asked why, I was told not to worry that it was clean. 2. She went in way too deep on one of my toes and it got infected. It hurt a lot while she was working on my toes and I even winced and told her but she said it was deep in there. It It was red, swollen and hurt by Monday :( I'm giving them two stars because I was still satisfied with my fill. The Tech who did my fill worked quickly and shaped them well. read more

I'm so lucky to live 5 minutes away from this salon, which is now my absolute favorite!! I've never left here unhappy with their service or my set. Cindy and Helen are super sweet and attentive to what you want and will never give you attitude if you want to change something. I manage a restaurant so I'm constantly washing my hands and cleaning and I've never, (and I mean NEVER) have had a nail break on me after getting pampered at Mai's, even after a month of having them. They do tend to get busy, and for a smaller nail salon like them you could potentially wait up to 45 minutes so I recommend calling ahead and asking what the wait time is, or make an appointment. My fill with gel polish was $26, and my grandma's gel mani was only $22. You seriously can't beat these prices! Bring cash, as they are cash only. I came for the first time on July 18 because I was going out of the town early the following morning and from the reviews I figured it would be a good place to try out. Got there little bit before 5 maybe like 4:40 ish and there was One person getting a pedicure, 1 person getting some sort of microblading eyebrow tattoo thing and 2 other person waiting to get pedicure. There was no other person working there other than Cindy and the lady doing pedicure who only does pedicure and the simple manicure. I came wanting to get French tips so I had to wait until Cindy was done. When she was finally done with the person doing the eyebrow, it was after 6am..like 6:10.. if knew they were short of staff and the wait was going to be long I would came sooner and or would of came back the next day if I didn't have to go out of town. When I was finally time to get started, I told her what i wanted and the length. She asked if I wanted the regular French tips or do you want me to paint in on. Wanted the regular but she made the decision instead that her painting it on was better choice so..sooo that's what I went with. Should of just stuck with the regular option, as you will see by the pictures. After she applied the acrylic and was pushing the side of my fingers in, she pushed to hard on some fingers to where it was hurting for a couple days after. During doing my nails she stopped and went back to the room to do wax someone's eyebrows..ahmmm hello??? They couldn't wait like I waited??? Pros: ******price is decent Cons: ******location of the nail shop (shopping center is small which means limited parking) also there's a Zumba class RIGHT next door and a class started at 6 with the music blasting and their doors wide open so not only could you hear the music but you can hear the instructor ****** people hanging around outside, drinking and cussing ****** the covers on the pedicure chair didn't appear to be changed or cleaned that often. Same for the table where you get your eyebrows done. It's a cloth like material and the same cloth was used on the lady getting her eyebrows waxed that the same lady with the microblading was on. ******long wait ******french tip lines if painted, doesn't begin where they should begin ******overall sanitariness is not going to make me go back to get my nails removed. I will have to find another more clean and sanitary shop to get that done read more

Sometimes the wait times can be pretty long since they only have two nail technicians but it's totally worth it. I learned the hard way one day I didn't feel like waiting so I tried a new spot and my nails looked so busted didn't even fill them properly broke in less than a week I still didn't learn my lesson because once again I didn't feel like waiting so I tried another spot same thing. If I bring her a design she's able to recreate it very easily! I've been going to her for the past 12 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. When if get gel manicures they'd last 2 weeks and wouldn't chip. My fills last a good 3-4 weeks and they still look good. I get a lot of compliments on both my nails and my pedicures! The evenings and Saturdays get pretty busy but she's always worth the wait! The prices for manicures, fills and pedicures are reasonable compared to other places that probably don't do as well a job. Don't bother coming to this place. I was looking to try a new salon and I expected so much from the reviews. First when I called they said they were busy and to come back another day. That should of been red flag number one. When I finally came in 10 minutes later, 2 of the employees were laying down on the pedicure massage chairs. Seems really busy... then I asked if I can get a pedicure. The lady sat me down and literally did my pedicure in less than 10 minutes. She didn't even bother asking if I wanted extra services. They kept speaking in their native language and I was sure they were talking about my nails since they had asked me where I had gotten them done. The lady then proceeded to ask me if I wanted gel or regular nail polish. So aside from the pedicure being $25, she want to charge me $15 more for gel nail polish. When I declined, her and her coworker made a grunt and started going off in there language. I had gotten orange nail polish and she didn't bother double coating even when I asked the other employee to do so. The other employee said they were fine when the nail polish didn't look right. She rushed the entire service to the point where I came in when there was another customer getting a pedicure done and left before her. Horrible service, prices are descent. You get what you pay for. read more
