We tried this place since the usual place that my daughter goes to is really full. We are happy to have found this place since Emily (the owner) is friendly and warm. My daughter dropped by just to have some nails repaired but we discovered that they offer a lot of services aside from nails. They offer waxing and eyelash extensions too. So 3 days prior I got a fill on a acrylic gel manicure by Emily. On the 3rd day my nail popped off like a bad press on! My real nail underneath was FULLY intact, long and not ripped! The fake nail literally popped off like a bad press on! I went back and Emily charged me $6 to get the nail fixed! I should not have to pay for poor quality work! In addition, she was the one that did my nails so she should remember. I asked Emily why I was being charged and she ignored me. I showed her the fake nail FULLY intact (just like you would buy a press on) with no scratches, unbroken and she literally ignored me. I've been coming here at least 5 years and the way I was treated today was with poor service. Her prices are HIGH to get poor quality work, followed by NO Apology for me having to come all the way back to the nail shop when I just spent 3 hours there for a nail job that wasn't sealed properly, 3 days before! I don't ask for anything free and I tip very well. To nickel and dime your customers for YOUR shotty work is distasteful. I told her I would not be back and she told me she has a lot of customers so that's ok. The woman who did my pedicure was so rough & sloppy. I wish I would have gotten her name but she's one of the newest girls. I don't think she sterilized her equipment because the next day I I woke up with some kind of rash in between my toes. The polish is all sloppy too. I tried reaching out to the owner, Emily, privately but she never got back to me. Also the prices now are ridiculously expensive now. $22 for a pedicure. On 8/19/2019 me and my brother waited nearly 45 mins for a service at a time that wasn't busy I finally get a tech to do my pedi. She eventually scrubbed the hell out of my foot and made it bleed. I used to come here frequently to get a gel manicure and sometimes full sets. The ladies here did an incredible job and I like how they leave the nails. After the renovations the prices increased and I stopped getting my nails done but I also just needed to let my natural nails be. Now I come only for my eyebrows. I get my eyebrows waxed for a very good price. $8 is a really good price for the service. Parking is really convenient, they share the lot with the others stores and there always seem to be plenty of spaces available. The only inconvenience is when LAFC or the Rams have games. Before coming in I called to ask if my nail lady was in, whoever answered was rude as hell and said "yes, she's here" before I finished asking her another question she hung up on me. My pedicure gets done and they're removing my nails, mind you I waited an hour to get my pedicure and Nina started helping another lady forgetting I had my nails dipped in acetone. And continued to help her even though she got there after I did. I literally waited two freaking hours for nothing, I definitely walked out and will not be coming back. Even when it's busy she tries her best to keep the easy flow of the shop. I have my favorite technicians for my services. I always have my gel nails with Kevin and my gel pedicure with Cindy or Nina. I love their precise work and attention to detail. However, they are favorites amongst the other clients so make sure you know you might have to wait on certain busy days. Horrible service, asked for dipped which they said they have. Started a pedicure and asked for dipped colors because I wanted my hands to match my toe shade and they said to wait. After asking several times with no answer the lady doing my pedicure asked me what color I wanted and I repeated I wanted to see the dip shade so that I could match that to my toes. They finally hand me the dip colors and to my surprise they only handed my about 10 shades. They should have made me aware that they didn't have a big selection or even a moderate amount because the shades were not what I wanted and then they try to talk me into doing something completely different than what I went in for. So upsetting I still had to pay a ridiculous amount for the previous dip shade removal I had (which I would have never done had I know they didn't have any colors) and the pedicure which I didn't get a color because my whole point was to match. read more

I wanted to treat my daughter and her friend to a nice pedicure. They filled the foot spa with cold water because they didn't have hot water...I get it, it's tough out here for businesses. However, I kept getting bumped for other folks who were aggressive about being in a hurry. It's not even that busy at this point. I mentioned that I too had to return to my life. They just rudely stated, "one minute! Wait!" Not cool but I understand that there is a language barrier. Yet, once the nail tech begins on my pedi, she just starts working and cutting...never asking what kind of pedicure I wanted. I asked her to please stop in order to confirm my nail treatment. She begins to say something to another nail tech. I tell her I understand and she could say whatever she is saying about me to me (I don't really understand.) She states that she didn't mean anything bad and just repeating what I said but clearly nervous and defensive. So, she confirmed my suspicion that it was more colorful than that! By this time my daughter and her friend are done and they are just starting with me. Half way through, the biggest roach comes strolling out and the neighboring tech just stomps it and keeps scrubbing the neighbor client's foot, like it's a normal occurrence 'round there. I am SO DISAPPOINTED. I've been coming to this nail shop for years. Because I was told you can't make an appointment I just pop in every 3 weeks and get my lashes and nails done. It is now 3:28pm and I've been sitting here since 1:30pm. When I arrived there was only one tech doing nails. No one else was waiting in the general area but everyone was getting pedicures. I signed my name as soon as I came in. I am JUST NOW being told that I cannot be serviced by Nancy. She told me she can't do my nails and Nina can't either. And also she left them so lumpy and so thick and I was so over it already so towards the end she started kissing my ass being super nice to me trying to get a tip I came back home and Had spent more money so they could fix her fu*k up luckily the salon I went to save the day and left them really really good but obviously they don't look perfect because of the salon messed them up in the beginning. Third time here now. I wanted Chau to do my nails buuuuuut she's so good there was ppl already ahead of me waiting for her so I decided to have someone else do my nails, her name was Nina. She was so sweet and she was efficient in doing my acrylic take off with minimal pain. She did such a good and neat job on my gel mani. I have no complaints on her and I would definitely let her do my nails again. I was a little disappointed though that she couldn't do any of the special colors, she pointed out that Chau was the only one who could. But nonetheless she executed the mani I was looking for and I'm happy with the customer service she and the receptionist provided. Side note the receptionist is super friendly and helpful as well with ALL of the customers. She doesn't just sit at the desk and answer calls and collect payments she's very handy around the shop and with all the customers and serves as a buffer between some of the more difficult customers and the nail techs. Every time I'm there she displays such patience with everyone and is knowledgeable about everything that goes on in the shop. I came back to get my nail color changed because I wasn't really feeling the red colors that I got and the receptionist and one of the techs Emily were very helpful and understanding about what I wanted. Emily was the one who did my design ( I attached a picture ) she was sooo sweet and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. She is also the one who does eyelash extensions and microblading and her work is flawless! I definitely plan on coming to get my eyebrows microbladed. Don't even waste your time go somewhere else. My first time here I thought if I got a regular manicure I would be safe going with anyone but the girl that did my nails did not know how to paint nails I had to tell her 3 times to paint my entire nail and she still left the sides and back of my nail uneven. She was very rude and dismissive when I asked her to fix my nails. The worst part is that she cut my cuticle on two nails and kept putting alcohol on my entire hand making it worse. I think the only one worth coming here to see is Kevin there was a line for him. Never coming again. Update. The cuticle she cut is now swollen, red and infected with puss coming out. Not only is this place overpriced, they did not take their time on our pedicures, I noticed they don't sanitize their tools, as soon as my sister and I got up 2 other ladies sat in our chairs. They did not sanitize the tub nor the instruments, they also did not have the mandatory bags that go on the tubs to avoid fungus. We will never come back.
