On some school e-waste collection events, they even wanted to charge me $10 or $20 for bringing them the junks...no thank you. I was paid $0.35/lb for computers (59 lb) and $0.11/lb for the TV (44 lb). I collect a bit over $25 for the e-waste, which is pretty good. Actually, I brought in two 40 inch LCD TVs and another customer at the parking lot asked to purchase one TV for $10 thinking of trying to repair it. Overall, it's a great experience. Customer service was quick and friendly.

Not only was he cursing at me, but he also called me a "dick," which is completely unacceptable behavior for someone running a business. To make matters worse, I was instructed to unload and move my own pallet of batteries for recycling. After I had already done the work, I was suddenly told I couldn't continue because I was wearing Birkenstocks. If that was actually a safety policy, one of the employees could have easily told me before I started unloading instead of waiting until I was finished. When I was told I had to wait in my car, I simply walked over to my vehicle, and the owner continued insulting me by calling me a "dick" as I left. Customer service and basic professionalism were completely absent. There are plenty of other recycling businesses that treat their customers with respect. I would definitely recommend taking your business elsewhere.

The recycling bin was touching the street and placed directly next to two other cans that were serviced without issue by Waste Management. The driver got off the truck and serviced my address, proving accessibility was not the problem. I am located on a busy street and have no control over who parks or where people park. Expecting residents to manage street parking to accommodate Tri-Ced's convenience is unreasonable. When I called to resolve this, I was met with dismissive and poor customer service and was again told the bins were "inaccessible," despite clear evidence to the contrary. This is a failure in service, accountability, and customer support. Tri-Ced needs to own this mistake and correct it, not deflect responsibility with excuses.

I do appreciate that it's all just by weight but yes in theory you may be getting less than the per item. But it's a great/easy way to still get cash back for all your aluminum and plastics and glassware. T I P S + Make sure you come with everything sorted. + Don't come first thing in the morning. There will be the longest line ever. + Come Wednesdays or Fridays and specifically afternoon. + Make sure you grab all the bags you came with as it's now part of the process. They can't throw your bags any more. Today I came around noon-ish, it wasn't too long of a line. But after I left it was completely empty. So if I came around 12:45/1pm it would've been in and out so fast. I had 4 big bags of aluminum cans at 15lbs, 1lb of plastics and 1lb of glass. Everything was about $27. Not bad. Definitely will fund my boba addiction.

I was so happy and glad that he put in effort to help me. I thanked him immensely and let him know how appreciated he is. I will from now on make sure to have my items correctly separated and properly sorted. ......On 07/12 I came to drop off a few items and mistakenly one item was taken. I went back to the facility to ask for my item back, but they refused. The manager refused to give me my item. I was very distraught. I had anxiety. I asked him why you wouldn't just give me my item that was mistakenly taken instead of making it so frustrating. I've gone to this facility for probably 10+ years and I've never had a problem until this time and I was just so surprised and take it back that they wouldn't help me. I called and left a message on the message line to see if there was anyone to help me but at this point I feel like it's a total loss. Overall, do visit this facility they care and they will help you if something goes wrong.

Went there on Friday during lunch time. I was the only customer. No appointment required. You stay in the card and they will ask for id. You pop the trunk and they will take them. As soon as they see these many tubes they quickly asked if I was with any business (I suppose this site is only for household Not commercial). I said no. They didn't believe me and ask my DL and say they will check my id against known registered business. Happy to comply and Of course it retuned nothing because what I told them is the truth - precious house owner left me this junk. It was also kinda funny cuz when i said it t was previous owner one of the guys said "why is everyone telling us that" implying using precious house owner leaves hazardous materials. I don't know if it is true everyone says that but I thought it was a humorous way to react what I was saying Anyways dropped those no problem and left the premise happy.
