We just came to Rica today, twice. This place is awesome for electronic recycling. It's located right off industrial Blvd in Hayward. You bring your appliances here for $25 a piece. You can also bring TVs, microwaves, printers, ink, computers. They have a guy working on the forklift to help you off load your fridge, Washer, dryer, etc. I'll keep coming back here for sure & highly recommend them. read more

I spoke with a representative from the company, and they resolved the issue quickly. Nothing is more important to me than customer service, and Rica displayed top-notch service. Thank you! read more

The employee was very helpful. The whole process was easy. I recommend using Rica Recycling.

They take all you waste. They're great good service., did not pay any money. They walk up and emptied my truck for me.

They took my old electronics and answered my questions about data wiping. All performed without waiting.

Decent price for used computers, monitors and electronics of all types. I bought two dell mini computers and so far work as described and expected. They worked the price down a bit since I bought two, they sell a ton on ebay so you can browse what they got and pick it up in person. read more

Very helpful and with friendly service. They accept most electronics or E-waste although they do charge a small fee for certain items, still very worth it. Highly recommend them and will continue to use them for my e-waste recycling. read more

Rica Recycling - Fee for E-Waste items. - Recycling Center Near Me - Hayward, California

Valuable service. Guys are efficient, quick. A bit difficult to see from the street, confusing the first time.

Great recycling services for Hayward - they intake almost all electronics and e-waste

Bought laptops on Ebay. He had me paid via a PayPal invoice and refuses to mark the Ebay order as paid. The laptop he sent me were covered in food and non functional. The company does not seem to care, and the customer service thinks it is a joke that I am not happy. Since they refuse to mark as paid I can not open a return case. I will now have to take this up with PayPal to receive a proper return. Stay away from this company. Very shady business practices. read more

Quick service and fairly easy to get to from HWY 92 and drop off electronics. They do charge for some electronics mostly large appliances so check before you go. Def will come back next time i need to e-waste stuff! Driving Tip when leaving Rica: If going back on 580 Westbound its better to take Tennyson to 580 than try to get back on 92 to 580 as it is usually backed up from the merge 92/580. read more

Had an old MacBook and a scientific calculator that were both broken beyond repair. I showed up like 5 mins before closing time and a friendly guy rode up on a forklift (or something like that?) and took the items for me. And it costed NOTHING! I needed to recycle two TVs. I went to this recycling center and they helped me out real quick. I was in n out in a few minutes.

I had to get rid of an old desktop that was no longer working for my dad and saw that this place seems to suit my needs. These guys helped me out a lot and it was really easy to pull up and find someone to take my desktop for me. They got it out of my car for me which was helpful as it was a huge gaming desktop. They were very friendly and as I walked in, I found a few electronics that I could use myself for a really great price! read more

Rica Commercial Recycling is very efficient and the staff at the time of my visit were very prompt and friendly. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes without waiting. I was greeted well and serviced as fast as possible. Parking is also great, they have designated parking for people dropping off their stuff. There's also a nearby mini taco truck that serves pretty good food if you're waiting. Overall, I strongly believe that they are running a pretty solid system and I could not ask for more. read more

If I could give them more stars I would. Very nice people that will help you and give you great quality. I would highly recommend this place. I bid on a microwave on eBay that they posted and not only did I save money but the quality of the microwave was better than I could have imagined being that it was a year old. like another reviewer, i found this business through ebay and since i live close by, i asked them for local pickup which they were happy to do. Just a word of advice to anyone who is visiting them, the front door is locked, so use the doorbell on the side door next to parking lot that has a 'Bay Alarm' sign. They accept cash or payment via paypal and their prices seem fairly decent. read more

Came in to pick up a part for my computer after viewing their business on eBay. I was immediately helped out by their friendly staff who also offered to show me other parts I could purchase for my computer. The office was very well-kept and organized, which made it easy for me to purchase a couple other parts at the same time. Convenient, organized, and friendly staff. Service: Willing to help, Skylar was the employee who helped me at the time and was very knowledgeable with computer parts. Products: Hard drive looked very clean, the place is very keen on keeping parts clean and like-new. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks Rica! read more

Very helpful staff and awesome collection of old and newer electronics!

Fast, efficient, friendly and free. I drove 30 miles to come here because my local recycling centers were difficult to deal eith.

Very friendly people here! I took my broken microwave here and some guy saw me and helped me carry it into the place. He was very friendly. I called another e recycling place and they would have charged me $20+ for trying to recycle something like a microwave. I would definitely come back here again if I have any other electronics that needs recycling read more

Found an item on Craig's list they were selling and had a few email exchanges. They were very helpful and responded quickly to my questions. When I came in to pick up what I wanted everyone was really helpful and friendly. It's conveniently located off the highway and easy to get to from most parts of the Bay Area. Will be going back to either drop off electrical items that I no longer need or for picking up electrical odds and ends on the cheap. Be ready to pay with cash or pay pall and pull into the parking lot. I parked on the St. and then ended up moving my car once I found the entrance. read more
