We just came to Rica today, twice. This place is awesome for electronic recycling. It's located right off industrial Blvd in Hayward. You bring your appliances here for $25 a piece. You can also bring TVs, microwaves, printers, ink, computers. They have a guy working on the forklift to help you off load your fridge, Washer, dryer, etc. I'll keep coming back here for sure & highly recommend them. read more

Bought laptops on Ebay. He had me paid via a PayPal invoice and refuses to mark the Ebay order as paid. The laptop he sent me were covered in food and non functional. The company does not seem to care, and the customer service thinks it is a joke that I am not happy. Since they refuse to mark as paid I can not open a return case. I will now have to take this up with PayPal to receive a proper return. Stay away from this company. Very shady business practices. read more

I had to get rid of an old desktop that was no longer working for my dad and saw that this place seems to suit my needs. These guys helped me out a lot and it was really easy to pull up and find someone to take my desktop for me. They got it out of my car for me which was helpful as it was a huge gaming desktop. They were very friendly and as I walked in, I found a few electronics that I could use myself for a really great price! read more

Rica Commercial Recycling is very efficient and the staff at the time of my visit were very prompt and friendly. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes without waiting. I was greeted well and serviced as fast as possible. Parking is also great, they have designated parking for people dropping off their stuff. There's also a nearby mini taco truck that serves pretty good food if you're waiting. Overall, I strongly believe that they are running a pretty solid system and I could not ask for more. read more

Just a word of advice to anyone who is visiting them, the front door is locked, so use the doorbell on the side door next to parking lot that has a 'Bay Alarm' sign. Found an item on Craig's list they were selling and had a few email exchanges. They were very helpful and responded quickly to my questions. When I came in to pick up what I wanted everyone was really helpful and friendly. It's conveniently located off the highway and easy to get to from most parts of the Bay Area. Will be going back to either drop off electrical items that I no longer need or for picking up electrical odds and ends on the cheap.
