This is beautiful and so peaceful! Next pic will be of the Buffet served from 11 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. delishhhhh food/options!

Food delissssh, music on spot! CLEAN, friendly and Manny..... open one up in Cedar Thanks Sunny for sending me over. You knew this would be my favorite Indian Restaurant after recently moving to Utah!!

Maharaja is amazing!! My family and I went for the lunch buffet after seeing a lot of great reviews on Facebook. On a Saturday afternoon there was a steady stream of customers. We were seated right away, so it wasn't over-capacity busy, but busy enough to have a fun, bustling environment. For $14.95 each we were able to get 3-4 helpings of some of the best Indian food we've ever tried! The dishes were all an appropriate temperature (which can be hard to accomplish with buffet style meals), everything was fresh, and staff were quick to replace empty trays with fresh food. The flavor of the dishes was incredible. I also had a mango lasi, which was a wonderful. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and cheerful. Empty plates were quickly cleared, and water glasses were constantly filled. I will definitely be back!

Decided to try their lunch buffet. They have several choices both chicken and Vegan. Overall the food offerings were good, wish the chicken had more spice, the vegan offerings actually had more spice flavor to enjoy. The butter chicken was totally bland. The tandoori chicken was dry because instead of leaving it in whole pieces, they cut it up which allows it to dry out. The Chicken Tikka Marsala was good, but I have had much better. The Naan bread was cooked perfectly and was excellent paired with the vegan options sauce. Again the vegan buffet options were a pleasant surprise, because they had great flavors from the added Indian spices. The Onion Bhaji, Aaloo Pakaro, Basmati rice with cumin, mixed vegetable coconut curry and Chana (chick peas) Marsala had appropriate spice and were flavorful and delicious. The rice pudding was good, but it was missing a spice, maybe cinnamon, that elevates the flavor. The service was friendly and helpful. Soda choices were limited to canned options, no fountain drinks, no refills. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The buffet was set up to allow easy access with plenty of clean plates and options available.

    Good Indian

They have hid my review twice now. The owner told me they were doing this and look they did it now twice. This is the best Indian food in town by a long shot. We catered for an event and they did a marvelous job and even delivered it. So good! Everyone loved it.

Finally had a chance to try Mahajara and it did not disappoint. All of the food was so flavorful and if you're like me I always stick to butter chicken and tikka masala. Being that Mahajara is buffet style, it was the perfect opportunity to try other dishes. The food is really good! The service was amazing and the owner is very kind and passionate. We were sat immediately and the restaurant is very clean. I will be returning soon!

Wow! The lunch buffet is awesome!! $15 and well worth it! I ate more than I should have. I arrived right before a group of 17, but the establishment handled all of us with professionalism. I cannot wait to return!

I love this restaurant! Honestly the best Indian food in Utah. They know what they are doing. The food is perfectly made. They care about every meal. Also if you like Naan, this is the place. Much better than the other big Indian restaurant just down the road. This is the absolute best place to get amazing Indian food!

The service was excellent, the food was Primo! And they make their own Sourdough Bread. I couldn't help myself, so we took one home. It doesn't get healthier or taste better than this. All of us loved our meals. I may just get up this Saturday and take a two-hour drive from Vegas to get another loaf and have another breakfast. It's that good!

The staff has always been friendly, and the food and drinks are great. Sometimes flavors or presentation vary, seating isn't completely comfortable, but it was never not an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, a recent experience completely changed my perspective for me. We attended their Easter egg hunt for the second year in a row. They advertised a 3-minute head start for toddlers (ages 0-3). As a mom of a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old, this is perfect. We invited several of our toddler mom friends and family to hunt with our kiddos. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee at the cafe before venturing to the event. Instead, it was nothing like last year and there was no separation. Older kids and oddly pushy parents immediately trampled the small courtyard area. It was chaotic, overwhelming, and frankly unsafe for the littlest ones. When I privately messaged the business to share that the promised toddler head start wasn't enforced and suggested better structure for next year, I was met with complete defensiveness. I was essentially told I should be "grateful" rather than disappointed because it was a free event (when technically we did pay over $50 to "be there") I completely understand that free community events are a massive undertaking, but good intentions don't excuse poor advertising, poor safety execution or dismissing customer feedback. To not even get a simple apology after years of loyalty leaves a terrible taste in my mouth. (Especially all while my kids and I are being used in marketing) I hope they can strive to actually make their customers "FeelLove" in the future.

We ordered the Lamb Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer and Coconut Raisin Naan. Prices were good and the flavors were great. I honestly wasn't expecting an Indian place in La Verkin to be so flavorful, I hate to say, but I was pleasantly surprised when I bit into the Tikka Masala that it was indeed spicy as I had ordered it. And what a nice surprise with the coconut raisin naan! Would highly recommend this place. They were even kind enough to give us to go plates and silverware since we were at the hotel. This ended up being the best meal oddly enough on our road trip from Texas. Sure maybe because we were eating a ton of crappy camp food and then all of a sudden came upon an oasis of flavor again, but I think even compared to some Dallas Indian spots, this one was better.

I'm certain that when the owners of this restaurant were dreaming of what they wanted to create,…read morethis was not it. This is what happens when you compromise to the point where there is very little left to compromise on. It's under decorated, the seating is poorly designed, it's too dark and the music... George Straight... What in the world?!? I understand that you are in Cedar City. I understand that you may actually like this type of music. I don't. But, it would seem much more appropriate to be playing something closer to Indian entertainment and music. When I walked in there was only the children of the owner. They were far too busy playing on their phones to even bother looking up, let alone welcoming me. I walked entirely across the restaurant and tapped the daughter on the shoulder before shoe would even look up. The cook or maybe that was the owner eventually made his way out to take my order. In the meantime, they had received a shipment of food which was still sitting on the floor behind the register. And as I said, the children couldn't be bothered to even help even here. I ask what is good, the daughter makes a suggestion of the Chicken Tiki Marsala. I order that. I Chai Tea, which they were out of, I asked about regular tea. Sorry, no tea at all. You guys are in the same complex as a grocery store. Go buy some! I'm from the 5 star world where if a guest asks for something, you get it for them. Period! Even if it means getting in your car and driving to get it! You don't even need to do that! Just send one of your kids over and pick some up. I'm certain they are capable of that. The food was good. I asked for medium and the spicing was perfection! The rice was not basmati nor jasmine but cheap white rice with little aroma and little flavor. The chicken was industrial cut, large chunks out of a bag. I guess the real question here is what are the owners even doing at this point? What IS this?!? It's not fast food. It's certainly not full service. I ordered a slice of mango cake which was still frozen and it was brought with the entree. I think it's time the owners really look at what this place has become. If it were an animal it would be taken out back and shot! I used to be a restaurant owner myself and it's why I write these reviews. I'll bet honest with you. There were several times I wanted to just walk out. I didn't. I regret it now. I don't know what to tell you. When you decide to be serious about creating an experience, let me know. In the meantime... whatever this is... good luck!
