Very uncomfortable experience. Staff seemed hesitant to provide normal services to my wife, and there was a pattern of brief visits from male customers that didn't match a typical massage setting. The environment didn't feel professional or legitimate. I wouldn't recommend this place especially for women. It felt questionable and NOT like a safe or appropriate setting. I'd STRONGLY suggest going somewhere more reputable. read more

This is a sex house or what? Don't go here for massages! They are dirty rude and over priced I think this place is for pleasure

Walked in and this lady welcomed me. Looked at me up and down and I said I wanted a hour massage and she said 80 I'm like 80!!!!? That's insane so overpriced and she came off rude. Bye I'll go elsewhere read more

Magnolia Spa - Beauty & Spas Near Me - Tracy, California

I don't know what happened, there used to be a nice guy running the desk, but he's gone... And the woman who answers the phone now will not honor the $34.99 coupon from the March 2017 coupon book (the coupon has no expiration date and the ad says Spring Specials, it's still Spring.. Hellooo?) She also said no more chair massages for the rest of the day (they are open for 6 more hours), only full body. I will spend my money elsewhere. read more

Magnolia Spa - They will not honor these coupons =( - Beauty & Spas Near Me - Tracy, California

I don't this is a massage place. This is a massage parlor and offered extra services like happy ending.

***UPDATED REVIEW- 05/03/2017*** Been here a few times in the past and had a great experience. Unfortunately it's now under new ownership and every time I've called to make an appointment, they tell me they have nothing available and to call back either tomorrow or the following week. WTH??? Very unprofessional and rude over the phone. I simply asked them about their monthly special advertised for $19.99 in the Tracy Cash Saver and the lady started yelling at me saying, "This is CRAZY, everyone keeps asking about that special and we don't accept that anymore!!! If you want a massage it's $100 for 1 hour!" Then she hangs up on me! Maybe you should have them remove the special/coupon then because that's false advertisement! Sadly, things get even worse... I asked my husband to call a few minutes later to see what she says and guess what.. all of a sudden they have appointments all day and she tells him to come in anytime. Now that is SCARY!!! Something just doesn't seem right at this place anymore! So please BEWARE when coming here! Just as I thought there was finally a great place for massages in town, now I'm back to searching for a new place. If I could rate them a ZERO I would. read more

I went to this establishment in person to see if my initial review was warranted. I felt a little bad for being so harsh and never visiting myself. I have to say, my instincts were spot on. It was dirty, not clean like the photos. The lobby was used for storage. No one was at the messy reception desk. A camera pointed at the door alerted them I was there. Before coming into the lobby, a woman yelled across the establishment in a foreign language and had a really loud banter with another woman. Totally unprofessional is any massages were taking place. Both were tucked safely behind the wall - assuming for privacy, except that the walls don't go to the ceiling so everything can be heard. The lady greeted me in a robe! A robe! She smelled of fish. I don't say that to be mean, but it's the truth. I asked a question about gift certificates- which she couldn't understand at all. So I politely left. Just find a reputable company and spend the extra money. It was pretty skin crawling in there and I'm typically a very gracious reviewer. read more

UPDATE: Under new management, some of the rude people from Angel massage work here now. Crappy service, ughhh! OLD REVIEW: My new favorite massage spot! The therapists are highly skilled, respectful, quiet (they don't chatter during the massage), it is the cleanest I've seen for an Asian massage place, they offer a "buy 10 get one free" stamp card, easy to get in or make an appointment, great location, and best of all AFFORDABLE when you need it most! Here's a breakdown of other massage places I've tried in Tracy...Massage Envy has uneventful low skill therapists (you can feel the unhappiness vibe, I hate it there) Angel Massage is a desperate last resort (just gross, dirty & third world) There is a therapist in the Paul Mitchell salon that's good but too pricey for an everyday fix and for this area. Tracy Chiropractic also has a good therapist but the vibe feels too clinical that you just can't relax. read more

Rude. I called to make an appointment for the day and the lady who answered stated she didn't have anything for the day. When I went to ask about other openings, the lady hung up on me. I called back and asked again, once again the lady was very rude and gave me a price instead of availability. I told her the price didn't even matter, I just wanted to make an appointment. I was so taken back by the service and rudeness I told her I had changed my mind. Too bad. I had been a customer prior when there was a much friendlier more customer friendly male front desk attendant. Never again will I be a customer after being treated this way. read more

I have had 2 massages here now and two completely different experiences. The first time I went, the guy who gave me my massage was amazing! He not only got all my knots and kinks out, but when I left I felt relaxed and stress free. It was exactly what I expect from a massage and it ranks up there with the best I've ever had! The second time was the complete opposite. The woman who gave me my massage was rough. Really rough! She even got completely on top of me and dug her knees in. She pulled and I felt like I was going through some torturous stretching session. I woke up sore, and feel like I have a bruise all the way up my upper spine into my neck. It's SO tender! Absolutely not relaxing at all and left feeling more stressed than when I went in. I feel like I need another massage to counteract this one. If I go back, I will be sure not to have this woman perform my massage again. read more

Score! My hubby and I are avid foot reflexology massage goers so we were thrilled when Magnolia opened up right next to us. Pros: - New, clean and trendy! (Unlike many other similar places in Tracy. I recently tried Angel Relax Center on the corner of Corral Hollow and 11th by Dunkin and literally one of the massage therapists started smoking a cigarette in the room!! I had to leave in the middle of my massage because it was so bad and so ridiculous!) - Awesome owner; super friendly, personable and professional -Great massage Cons: - Honestly can't think of any... It's a little cramped since it's a small space but the owner did a great job with what he has to work with read more

This place is a joke .. I called to get an appointment and the lady that picked up mumbled something and then hung up. As I called back they didn't answer the phone. I then tried blocking my number and the same lady picked up. Frustrated I asked her if I could talk to a supervisor and she said she was the supervisor. I told her how I got hung up on and she said "oh so sorry only little people here today". I asked her why was my husband told an hour ago that he could come in. I asked her do you only serve Men? And she responded YES and then said her English was very limited as she hung up! I use to love this place but clearly it's under new shady management. So sad and disgusting! I will NEVER be coming here anymore !!!! read more

I'm not sure if this place changed owners or what. I have been a very frequent customer. I called to get a foot massage last week and she told me they were booked and hung up on me. today I call and some RUDE lady said they only do body massages now. This place was the best... I will not go back. Time to find a new favorite! read more

This place is a scam!! I purchased a membership for 10 massages for $150 and have 5 left now they said they won't honor it. I have tried several attempts via phone and in person to get a refund the person at the spa gave me a number to cal JJ @ 1-408-829-2757 but of course she has not returned my calls in over two weeks. Do not go here. This is no way to run a business! read more

So yea, this place is pretty decent for what they charge. There's definitely better "All Around" places, but I give then a 4 for friendly service which goes far with me :) . Not quite a 5 because it would be nice to be able to communicate with the masseuse if necessary. In my case, the sweet old lady would ask if I was ok, or how it felt, and if I said anything besides "Ok" or "Good", she had no clue....(she spoke zero English) So it would've been nice to be able to tell her specific points I wanted focus on and to up the pressure a little. But all in all it was a good experience. You should try it out. It may fit your needs and be exactly what you were looking for. read more

Update. Magnolia Spa has changed hands and the new owners are not honoring the message cards sold by the previous owner. My wife called to schedule massages for us both and the person that took her call was abrupt to the point of being rude. Not only did she indicate that our existing, pre-purchased cards were no longer accepted but, oddly, she seemed to have no interest in keeping our business. She told my wife that the prices were increased by quite a bit and, in any case, they didn't have any massage times available. read more

Worst massage of my life. I was so upset with the service I stayed outside to tell people not get a massage here. The owner is a crook. I paid for an hour massage she walked out of the room for 10 minutes and after 30 minutes said she was tired. read more

This place is a great find. I am recovering from child birth and a session here really hit the spot. I got the 90 minute full body massage and I probably fell asleep and snorted from time to time. The pressure was perfect and my masseurs was so nice. I wish I'm in Tracy more often so I can get massages everyday. The price can't be beat and the place is clean. Highly recommended. read more

The people were so nice and the male therapist are so respectful to the women! I am absolutely going back when I have the chance!

This place stole my money! I had 2 credits for foot chair massage and now they are saying they don't do the chair massage anymore! Reporting them to BBB. Tried to talk to the only person who speaks English, the guy, and he never returns my calls. read more

Disappointed. Just walked in asking for a baldy needed massage. No one inside. 2 ladies outside taking a break. One came in and said 62.00 for one hour. Told her I had coupon for 34.99 that just came in mail today. She said "sorry no more". ??? read more

My boyfriend I got a 60 minute couples massage and it was great! We had no trouble getting an appt an hour before. The place is decorated nicely and is very clean. The staff is friendly and professional! I will definitely be back! read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE! CHEN WAS THE BEST! Yes, I'm shouting my review because they're that fabulous! The ambiance there is totally spa-chill. Lovely quiet music. Dimmed rooms. Absolutely enjoyed the entire experience! I loved every minute of it! I highly recommend this place! Don't hesitate. Run there! :) read more

Nice location. The price is extremely right. I recently moved from the Bay Area and only had discovered/fell in love with these foot massage spas toward the end of living there. I was sure I would not find one out here in Tracy and was pleasantly surprised to find this place!!! This was my second visit and I had no problem scheduling a last minute 1hr foot massage. They offer full body massages including both!!! I usually prefer seeing only female therapists as it is my comfort level but the male therapists I have had are very nice. So that would be my reason for one less star and that the room that you have your foot massage is right next to the front, when there is a lot of traffic or customers coming in and out speaking with the front desk it is noticeable. read more

Magnolia Spa is heaven on earth. Shout out to my guy, Andy who has the magic touch. The ambiance is serene and tranquil. The service is remarkable and the cost well worth it. What a steal! I will definitely return for more pampering. read more

They never answer the phone. Ever. Walked in to see if I could get either a massage or foot massage. She's so busy watching TV on her phone she can't concentrate. First she says I can do massage full body for $50 for an hour, no one is there to do foot massage. Then she says she'll just give me a card to call and make an appointment because no one is there to do any massage. Why give me a card if you aren't going to answer the phone? Bad business practices. read more

I have never had a bad massage at Magnolia, in fact they were always very good but the other day I had the best ever! Go see Mei, she was absolutely amazing! read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I purchased $250 in gift certificates for this place and they would not honor them when my husband and I went in to use them. When I asked for my money back they refused as I purchased my gift certificated with cash and the receipt I showed them that was given to me by them they claimed was not theirs! I turned them into the BBB. Do not go here. read more

This place gets 0 stars. My husband purchased me a 5 pack of gift certificates for Christmas and I went in today and the lady said they no longer do the foot massage and that they purchased the place but will not honor the gift certificates. They now charge $80 an hour for private room. It looks like they may give "happy endings". I am so disappointed! The owner did give me the old manager's number. read more

Amazing experience at Magnolia Spa! My boyfriend and I have been there once before, and they gave us the same price as it would have been on Groupon ($35 each for a 1 hour full body massage). JJ at the front desk went above and beyond to give us a great experience for my boyfriend's birthday, and included a hot stone massage along with aromatherapy. Highly recommend checking them out :) read more

Extremely rude lady at front desk. No foot massage only body massage 80 dollars. Go somewhere else.

Bad phone skills bad peoples skills ok massage but they had the nerves to raise the rates. $80hr is how much they charge now for their mediocre massage read more

Me and my friend came in Sunday night and our experience was not as great as we thought it would be at first I thought it was just me , but he was very rough I kept thinking it will get better but it didn't felt as I was like some kind of doll how rough it was after my friend told me the same that she was very rough no time to relax or enjoy the massage maybe we just had a bad experience but not returning after that. read more

I don't know what is going on with this place lately every time I call they have no appointments at all and I call pretty frequent then on top of that the person says they don't have any appointments and then hangs up on me I don't know what the Hell is going on with this place but I'm done. Nicely decorated and clean spa. Had 60 min foot reflexology, however, 15 min was used for soaking my feet then 20 min on left foot only 10 if that on my right foot before moving to head neck etc. The staff were constantly talking to each other so it was difficult to relax and enjoy. read more

Couples massage was nice and relaxing. Recommend getting it at night so you could just go home and sleep afterwards

BEST deep tissue massage! AFFORDABLE, clean, quiet, relaxing, and respectful. Jennifer did my massage and it was wonderful and so relaxing! The owner J.J. was welcoming and very nice. Already booked another massage next weekend for myself and daughter. I can't wait!! Definitely try them out- you will not be disappointed!!! read more

This place would have gotten a five just on the massage alone by Nancy were it not for the multiple interruptions and wait time. Website said it opened at 10 .. We called and called with no answer and decided to show up. We were told we would have to wait for the next massuese ... 1 hr 30 mins later I was on the table and my partner left waiting for the next massuse.. When the next massuse came in at noon, she came, she knocked on my door to speak to my massuese loudly and kept talking loudly in their language. She continued on. I laid there with my cheeks out when someone walked up asking if they had time for a massage.. Again, with my full cheekage out in the open because she had left the door to my massage room open. I was annoyed but obvi wanted to get my moneys worth. Nancy did am amazing job. Again, were it not for all the nonsense and unproffesionalism it would have been a greater experience.. To top it off, I was feeling good at the end, only to have her tell me cash only when it came time to pay. Like who carries cash anymore?! So much wasted energy trying to make it right... I hope the owner worked out the kinks cause it could have been a great experience were it not for these major deficits. read more
