Jalapeño jam burger and onion rings
Katherine B.

Came here to watch a World Cup game with my brother and SIL and we had a greatttt time here. They've got TV's everywhere so any seat is a good seat to watch the game. They had great decorations to get you in the mood. Our waitress was super sweet, patient and attentive. We order the Philly cheese fries to share and then we each got a different burger. The fries were bombbb! So delicious. Would come back just for those. I got the jalapeño jam burger, it was really great, exactly what you want from a burger. Everyone was very happy with their choices. We were able to find street parking for both of our cars. And the drinks were solid as well!

In terms of environment is a cute place. A modern saloon style bar with indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of TVs so it's great for watching sports and there's a pool table in the back. I will say they need citronella candles or mosquito traps or something because we were inside and getting constantly bit, as was the waitress. It made it extremely uncomfortable. So we ate our food and left, didn't linger at all. The waitress and servers were really nice and the food was pretty good. I ordered the western bacon burger and it was good. Fries were also good but also the type of fries you can't let get cold. I'd go back for maybe a drink or 2 to watch a game, but not the greatest experience.

Amazing atmosphere. It's my 2nd visit. I had the chicken sandwich the first time and the owner suggested I try the burger so I did. Presentation is great. Definitely juicy. I'm gonna try the flatbread next.

Came here to watch the World Cup, this burger is an absolute 10/10 !!! Must Try! The staff is amazing and extremely attentive and friendly. The downside: sat outside and the sun shined directly on their tv it made the tv unwatchable for about 45 minutes of a huge fifa game ... can't control the sun but maybe prepare for it with some shade/covering ...idk asside from that . The drinks are reasonably priced. The space is massive outside perfect for a chill time to unwind and eat delicious food.I'll definitely comeback cause the pros far outweigh the cons

Lunch special

They had me at "swinging saloon" doors...I swept past them & stepped inside to a rustic bar with high top & regular tables and most importantly, a welcoming atmosphere. I was back for a second round. My first round was a Saturday afternoon. The place wasn't too busy but by the time we left it was packed. This time it was a Wednesday around 5pm. It had a nice steady flow. Very laid back and casual here. You won't feel like you are being pressed to eat, drink and get out which is nice. Our server was Ashley. We loved her! Super friendly, helpful and took the time to get to know us. Another reason why this spot made my "Fav" list. Some of the menu options include hot dogs, burgers, salads, soups, chicken wings, nachos & fries. The Flat bread pizza is delicious! *They also have several large TV's to broadcast sports which brings in a huge crowd on game night. There is a back patio with a TV screen and another patio on the side where you can also sit and watch sports or just hang with your friends. *Happy Hour is Monday - Friday 2-6pm *They have lunch specials and sports specials as well. *Free Street Parking on Magnolia Blvd and side streets ~and that's all I got to say about that ~

Cobb salad with chicken

I don't know what it is but I am obsessed with this chicken Cobb salad. It's tossed in a homemade light balsamic and I love all the flavors together. It's a really nice portion for the price. I get this with the tasty tequila and you cocktail. The folks that work there are really nice, attentive but not overwhelming. I feel like I get checked on just as I'm about to ask for something. Great service every time. I only recently discover this place two months ago. It is NOT the old Tinhorn Flats which is a good thing. I overheard the owner tell a customer that they get all their meats from Handy Mart which is across the street. I'll continue making my weekly visits. Happy that I stumbled upon this place.

Spacious and chill bar with good bar food. We came on weekday and despite the steady flow of customers we were seated immediately .. The menu has some good choices but we settled on a burger and nachos . We enjoyed our food and the service. The burger was juicy and beautifully balanced. Service staff were super quick and helpful with recommendations. Magnolia Corner has perfected the blend of feeling like a regular, bringing you to a party, and being a priority. Jordan and Steve were such a delight! This is my bestie and I's go to spot for lunch!!! Food and drinks are amazing and service is 10/10! Must see!

Nachos (without sour cream) - a good lunch idea and cheaper than their specials
Brian O.

Had a work lunch here (yes, I discussed work in a bar during the day, and what of it?) and was pleasantly surprised at the food. First impression upon entering was the handful of day drinkers in there, which I figured was a good sign. They do have lunch specials of burgers and salads, but I'll share this hint: their appetizer menu is deep, and they're cheaper than the lunch specials. I had the nachos which was deceivingly large: while not healthy, I couldn't get close to finishing it. It fit the need and I saved some dough. The patio area is comfortable and well set-up: even though it has the 80s metal music out there, it wasn't obnoxious or anything. Service was friendly, helpful, and always hustling, which we appreciated. I'd like to give happy hour a shot, but Magnolia Corner is also a good (and unexpected) place for lunch.

I had an amazing experience at Magnolia Corner with friends! We enjoyed their signature cocktails, "Whiskey Glasses" and "You & Tequila," along with the delicious grilled chicken sandwiches. Everything was excellent! The atmosphere was fantastic, with a beautiful interior, great vibe, and wonderful service. It's the perfect spot to enjoy good food, drinks, and great company. Highly recommended to anyone, any day. Definitely a five-star experience!

We only went here briefly on a whim, but I'm already looking forward to going back. I don't live far down the road.. and I remember this building being empty for awhile. Then suddenly I saw saloon doors being build and lights and signs being placed. It looked like it was about to be a new small country bar! And I was so excited!! Well, it's not that. BUT. It is a great little place with a pub kind of feel. It's small but open and welcoming. Seating inside and out side. We came on a Tuesday for the cheap taco Tuesday deals. It was totally worth it. We got fresh made tacos in the back of the place. And ate them in the front seating area. The staff was nice enough. They have TVs all over. I think the price point is a little high. So happy hour and specials may be my next movie. But I'd like to go back. The food was good and the vibes were fine. Happy this place opened! (Now, you just need line dancing nights!)

The front- so cool!

Decided to try this place on a whim tonight while starving and I am so glad that I did! The location is so cool looking-many may remember the former business, and the cool western style doors are still alive and well! I love the old photograph inside of the location as a saloon- lots of neat touches. The space looks clean and the servers are great. I started with the house margarita which was so smooth! It was delicious! I'd definitely order it again and would recommend it to others. I ordered a burger and they were so kind and were able to make mine dairy free- the kitchen and servers were incredibly accommodating!! My boyfriend ordered the western burger that comes with blue cheese and he said it was SO good. We were both craving burgers, so this seemed like a great place to try and we were right! Awesome burgers! Great service. I'd love to try other things here in the future.

Smash Burger with Side Salad.
Jon N.

Probably more a 3.5 for me. The place looks so much better. They did a great job fixing it up. Service was friendly. Food was a mixed bag. I got their smash burger and it was okay. The bun was pretty much all I could taste. Freinds felt the same about Veggie burger. Wife had the Cheesesteak and liked it a lot. I gotta say, it was good. Fries were just way, WAY overly salted. Side salad was good and viggie side was fine. I had their take on a mule and it was fine. Not very strong. All in all, i liked the space. Nothing about the food will make us rush back, but if we do return, it'll be for the Cheesesteak.

One time I was sad because they made me wait long as a solo walk-in when I let a couple go ahead of me and I walked out. So keep an eye out, it depends on who's working the front. The reason I still give them 5 stars is because they have since made up for that. It really is a beautiful place, and given that they're a relatively new establishment or a busser could have stepped in if they're busy, so just give them feedback if they need to work on things like that. The food and drinks are so unique to their place, continuing that "hidden jewel" theme. Their menu is limited but all quality food, like you're going to that friend's house and you love their recipe style. I loved the chicken sandwich the best, the crispy chicken was so juicy! Their vegetarian options are devilishly good too, with their happy face potato fritters and fried mac. For drinks, my favorite was the chocolate banana. They use real ingredients, so it really hit the spot for me. The family and kids love it, such a great vibe that you'd never expect.

The only thing with a bit of flavor was the esquite, but again to pay for roasted corn on the cob with just mayo and cheese? For $13 ? NEVER AGAIN. I have a problem with the way they name their items which is a bit misleading. For example, they have an item called taquitos, meaning you would expect a rolled fried taquitos. What came was tacos dorados so why is it named taquitos? They DID write on the menu that it's fried tacos..but again why are they not just calling it TACOS DORADOS? Same with esquite typically esquites are corn off the cob but this was on the COBB and yes it was described on the menu as on the Cobb but again why not call it ELOTE instead of esquite. Clearly this is semantics but just frustrating. If you want authentic Mexican food there is a Don Cuco's around the block that is WAY better than this place.
