Great guy! Albert is his name. Very knowledgeable and friendly- enjoy working with him and he knows his stuff.

Albert was outstanding all across the board. I requested same day service for an unexpected AC issue in the middle of a heatwave and Albert was able to arrive within a few hours. He was very thorough, informative, professional, and kind. I am normally wary of new contractors, but I felt immediately at ease with Albert. The cost for everything was very reasonable, especially considering it was an emergency AC repair. I am so grateful for this company and for Albert's service! I've used various HVAC companies before but Albert's service was the best all around and I won't use any other company for AC or heating going forward. I highly recommend his services. Absolutely outstanding. read more

I had Magna Tech come out to install a soft-start for me (that I provided). I also wanted the unit cleaned while he was here. We agreed on a single price to get both things done. He (Albert) showed up and was friendly and just wonderful to work with. I will definitely be using Magna-Tech in the future. read more

Albert did a great job fixing our HVAC system. First of all, he was timely in his response on a Saturday, making availability for us later that day. He arrived when he said he would, and we appreciated his punctuality. Our HVAC system was not blowing air into our house. Upon inspection, Albert said that the system had a faulty motor (it was 15 years old) and that it would need to be replaced. He didn't have the part with him on Saturday, but ordered it, had it shipped, and installed it on Wednesday. He arrived on Wednesday at the time promised, did the work, and let the area clean. What I liked: 1. He was honest. He did have an off-brand motor with him in the truck on Saturday, but he said it would be much louder than the Carrier brand motor. He said that he would be hesitant to install the non-brand motor because it would be much louder in the house. 2. He was honest, again. He could have told us that our HVAC was broken and needed to be fully replaced for thousands of dollars. He did not. He told us that just replacing the motor and coil costs a fraction of a new HVAC system. He said that this usually fixes the issue in 98% of the cases. He said that our Carrier HVAC should last 25 years and was not racing to pitch us a new, expensive system. 3. He was helpful. We also had an upstairs bedroom that needed to be cooled properly. He headed up to the attic with me, pointed out kinked venting that was blocking airflow (that two other vendors never mentioned in past years), and offered a quick fix that worked to help the room heat/cool properly. This took us about 15 minutes, and he charged nothing for the quick fix. I would definitely use Albert again and highly recommend him if you have HVAC issues. read more

On the hottest day of the year to date, Magna Tech was able to send a technician to our townhouse and diagnose/repair the issue. They replaced our faulty thermostat and did a quick evaluation of the AC unit to ensure there were no other problems. They were responsive, informative, and so helpful! read more

Our air conditioning unit bit the dust during one of the hottest weeks and Albert came out and diagnosed the problem right away. He called to locate the needed part and informed us it would not be available for 3 days. An hour or so later he called back and said he had found the part at another location and would be out the next morning to do the repair. He was very professional, knowledgeable and we were so impressed that he continued to try to locate the necessary part. We have now put Magna Tech on our list to call for all our HVAC and hot water heater needs. read more

My AC went out in August so I needed a quick response. Albert came to my place that same evening and quickly fixed my AC unit. I'll need a new HVAC soon but he didn't try to convince me to get a new unit. I'll be going to them when I do have to replace. Highly recommend! read more

We got extremely lucky and found Albert when we had trouble this summer. He is extremely knowledgeable and very honest. Explained everything to us and was happy to help us indents how our systems work. Very professional and very trustworthy and just a really good guy. Summer 2019, our AC breaks in the middle of the worst heat wave in a decade. Albert was quick to respond to my request for information, gave us competitive pricing, and finished up the job in less time than he originally estimated. Quality! When our water heater broke a few months later, Albert again gave us an estimate, but then recommended we contact the guy he himself uses for plumbing, because that guy runs a plumbing-focused business, and while Albert said he could certainly replace our water heater, this guy would do a great job for less. Integrity! And just this weekend, when our g-d heating system crapped out in late January (29 degrees outside! We have a little kid!), Albert came to our house twice in one weekend to troubleshoot, and fixed whatever stupid broken wire had given out--and didn't even charge for the second visit. Service! In addition to the quality of his work, Albert is also a very personable man; friendly, honest, and grateful for our business. Even on a freezing Sunday in January. Thank you sir! read more

Honest with great integrity and customer focus. Trustworthy HVAC companies are so rare. Alfred is even rarer - it is his life philosophy.

I had an issue with my HVAC not turning on over the last week with the heat wave and I could not leave my family without air conditioning. I tried a few fixes myself and finally was not able to find the problem. I used Yelp's multiple quote tool and spoke with Magnatech. As my time before deployment is quickly upon me, these guys reached out to find me a tech last minute to come by and assist me. Really, above and beyond. I'm very grateful. My family is very grateful. It ended up being an easy fix, which was great. Highly recommend! read more

Was able to service all my units and diagnose my humidifier and dehumidifier. Pricing was fair and tech was friendly.

Love love love everything about this company. Albert is one of the most honest people we have met when dealing with our HVAC issues. We had him replace our whole heating and air, as well as have him do the yearly maintenance on the units. read more

I feel bad that I didn't write earlier but Alfred and his team have always been awesome! I had to drop my maintenance plan with another company after that company failed to show up soon enough when I needed them the most. Alfred saved us on multiple occasions by coming out on short notice. It's hard to find an honest company that also provides quality work, you can't go wrong here. So far, we've had 2 AC units installed by Alfred and multiple repair visits. We will keep calling them each time we need anything. read more

My 1 year old heating system malfunctioned due to the bad set up by the previous HVAC company, causing the house to be unbearably cold. Magna was able to visit the same day, did the diagnosis and pointed out the fix - which was really simple as all the units themselves dont have any issue. It was quick and everything is back to normal. I was in a conference call so i was very busy but the gentleman (forgot to ask his name) followed thru with his job smoothly. He also gave me some useful info and advice on maintenance. Will not be hesitate to use them in the future. read more

I have used a number of contractors over the past two years for service on heating and air conditioner systems. Magna Tech is one of the only companies that consistently provides quality work by consummate professionals. Their honest and candid assessments are always spot on while answering service calls at all hours. I highly recommend using Magna Tech for any heating or air conditioning service call. read more

We recently had work done on our water heater by Albert at Magna Tech. This was our second time with Magna Tech, and both experiences were exceptional. The most recent was a small job repairing a leak at the water heater drain spigot while the first job was a big one installing all new AC. In both cases, Albert was on time, professional, and friendly, with great quality of work. In the most recent case, it was a bit of an emergency because the basement was flooding (while we were trying to sell our house, of course) and it was 6pm. Albert was there within 30 minutes of our call. He had it completely fixed, including picking up a new part, within an hour and a half. It was a major relief. Very fair prices, professional, and great quality. Pretty much everything we look for in a home services provider. read more

Albert is a consummate professional. Rarely have I found home technicians that I feel comfortable putting blind trust and faith in. Albert is just that type of guy. He delivers. Along with the Magna Tech team, Albert will diagnose and articulate a problem to you directly with zero bull. Outside HVAC, I'd hire these guys to renovate my kitchen, fix my car, walk my dogs, and drop my kids off at school. You can't find a better team and 5-Stars truly isn't high enough. read more

My own Engineer, Albert Escobar. He installed every piece of equipment in my HVAC room - the air, heating and water units. Very satisfied. On my observation Mr. Escobar is the consummate professional, is responsive and he is patient. I observed unapproachable pride in workmanship and integrity. He works well with people, even when providing his enlightened assessment of the status one needs to hear. read more

Albert was very professional and almost immediately determined why our a/c wasn't working. I appreciated that he responded to my original request for help within the same day as well. He also took the time to answer questions I had about the size of the unit itself and whether it was sufficient to cool the house. He also recommended somebody to clean the vents which made a huge difference. I will definitely use Magna Tech again in the future for any heating and cooling needs. read more
