Number one the tortillas were obviously microwaved when traditionally the tortillas should have been either oiled or dipped in lard and placed on the griddle to golden up a bit. These tortillas were cheap run of the mill store bought tortillas, thin and bland. Secondly the "carne asada" is not traditional asada. They gave me the cheapest diced up chuck when carne asada is supposed to be skirt steak or flank steak. I'm saying this so that the owner can improve the quality of food. The good people of Spring Hill deserve the best and most authentic Mexican food that our culture has to offer. I couldn't even finish my plate. I only had 1 and a half tacos out of 3. I've never in my life left a taco behind. In conclusion I bet if they went with a more authentic menu and got a chef that has pride in his culture they'd do a lot better as a restaurant.
