It took over 1 month to get a single appointment (bought on Groupon). But it was well worth the wait. The team of 2 and their leader (someone who looks like he should be on on Televisa) showed up, I wondered if I should trust reviews on Yelp. Have to say that these guys are some of the most hard working cleaners with elbow grease I have found. They were using a knife to scrape some of the stuff off my stove. My kitchen feels new again... They were strong promoters and asked for this review on Yelp... I dont usually give any reviews until after 3 tries (to keep a median average). I need to sell my 2003 car after I got my 2010 (without trade in of course) I called a few auto detailing services but none of them fit my busy schedule. Anderson's service did come into rescue. He dropped by my house and did the detailing right outside of my garage. My wife could deal with him even she need to take care of my 4 young kids. Anderson really loves what he is doing. I am sure even I never met him. The car just sold for more than a thousand dollars above blue book price. The only reason of that is because it does smell like new car. Called at 6:57AM on a Saturday and he made a slot for me same day at 12:30. I cant believe how great of a job they did on cleaning my husbands car. And I mean AMAZING... Grandma came in from out of town so I took her on full cross state tour that took 8 days. We lived in this car for over a week, there was dirt from all corners of California in every single crack of this poor car. Husband was coming home from business trip and I could not let him come home to that. They were so helpful and the fact they come to you and only need somewhere to plug in power is off the planet amazing for what comes out 2.5 hours later. I got a groupon and called for an appointment. There was no opening for 3 weeks so I schedule anyways. I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. There was no confirmation day before the appointment. My appointment was at 2pm, but I got a call at 2:35 stating that the cleaning lady has arrived. Then I got another call stating that they couldn't find the parking so I told them to park on the street. I came home after work and my entire apartment was dirty and messy. The only thing that was cleaned was the stove and kitchen counter (half). I didn't understand what was going on since the service was for 2 people 2 hours. My bathrooms, bedrooms and living room was not touched. I hadn't cleaned for 3 weeks prior to the appointment, so you can image the mess. There was no call or warning so I wasn't sure what I got into. The owner did not call me and let me know anything about the cleaning. I ended up posting a negative review (1 star) here on Yelp to get their attention. I called the owner on Sunday and he told me that it was a day off, but he saw the review. He didn't even try to contact me to explain to me what happened and why the place was not cleaned. He kept saying that two people were there cleaning for 2 hours. He said it was a regular service and not deep.I kept telling him that only my stove was cleaned and several garbage bags left in the kitchen. The rest of the apartment was not even touched. He said that he will come and re-clean the place but never explained to me what happened. I didn't see a single post on residential cleaning here on yelp so I think that this company needs to do their homework and present a good service to their customers whether they bought a discounted deal or not. They came back 2 days later to clean the place. This time I came home and everything was nice and cleaned. My husband and my friend were home to oversee their work. The bathrooms were cleaned very nicely. All the hair, garbage and stains in the shower were removed. The kitchen was cleaned nicely as well. This time everything was vacuumed, although they did not move the couch where all the dirt resided. I wish they would present this service first time around and not cause me stress by coming home to a dirty house the first time. Advise: Do not leave while cleaners are cleaning. Stay and watch them do everything and time them. It appears that if you are not home they will try to fool you. Wow, wow, wow, I was really impressed with the service I paid for. Anderson, (i think he's the owner) was really professional and courteous. He cleaned the carpets of my entire house(4 rooms) for a generous price. All my stains were removed and Anderson gave me suggestions in preserving the life of my carpet and how to treat it myself. I could not speak more highly of my experience with this. I have had my carpets cleaned but this was the best. 2 thumbs way up. Trying to prepare my car for sale, it has 200k miles on it. Looked around and I really liked how the owner responded respectfully to Yelp complaints, so I gave them a try. The car is old but the guy did an excellent job. He got here early, did it in the time estimate, and every little detail was done right. Even under the seats that pull up and fold down. Even though I got a Yelp discount, I didn't get attitude like I saw on other places. We have a toddler AND a siberian husky that use our car as their prime ride. That means you can find fur in strange places (on the ceilings) and random stuff the kid has thrown, everywhere. Leo sweetly bagged all the random stuff and got rid of 99% of the dog fur, he even got the ceiling without prompting +2. Leo cleaned under the seats, the cracks, crevices and those hard to reach places -- like that space between the seat and the armrest where stuff always falls -- and where regular car wash places fail +1. I bought a Groupon for 3 two hour cleanings. I called and because of the Groupon, I had to wait about a month for an appointment. However, we set up all three appointments 2 weeks apart so that I could keep my house clean. On the first visit, they called to ask if they could come early since they'd had a cancellation. They showed up on time (the new time) with the boss in tow. He asked what I wanted done and translated for the ladies. In two hours, they cleaned my kitchen, one bathroom and vacuumed and dusted most of the house. The second and third times they came, they got both bathrooms plus the kitchen and vacuumed the whole house. I have a big place, over 2000 square feet. Let me tell you, those ladies work fast and they do a great job. I am super happy I bought that Groupon. I have bought several house cleaning vouchers over the years and they are one of two that I would hire to come in regularly. So that's what I did. The ladies come every other week and my house looks great and I didn't have to do the work. My house looks great. Now, if I could only keep it looking that way between visits! read more

Worst experience EVER and they didn't even clean our house! If I could give them negative stars I would! I purchased a "deal" thru Amazon Local for 3 hours of cleaning. We thought about hiring a cleaning service in the past and decided to give them a try. Boy, this was a mistake! I purchased the deal mid-June and called a few days after to setup a time for them to come. I spoke with Anderson who told me that they're so busy I couldn't get an appointment until the end of July, which was about 5 weeks later. We settled on a date and time for the cleaning crew to show up. A few days after I booked them I had to call and reschedule, which was fine with Anderson but he said if we rescheduled they were not available for another 3 weeks. So I agreed and they were set to come mid-August. Anderson called a few days before the rescheduled date to say he had an emergency and couldn't come. He was apologetic so we again we rescheduled for 2 weeks later on a Saturday, Aug. 24 at 9am. A few days later Anderson called back and said they couldn't come on Saturday but could come on Friday morning at 9am. I said fine and we scheduled. Anderson called me on the Thursday, the day before they were supposed to come and said he had another emergency and couldn't come and had to reschedule again. He asked if he could come the following week but we were leaving for vacation and we wouldn't be available until Sept. 14. He said okay and we booked Sept. 14 at 9am. Anderson called me a few days later and said he forgot that his family from Brazil would be in town the weekend of Sept. 14 so he couldn't come. For the 5th time he rescheduled and said he could come on Friday, Sept. 13 at 9am. At this point I'm beyond annoyed and said fine and my husband would take the day off work to be home. Yesterday, on Sept. 12 I get a text from Anderson confirming our supposed 4pm cleaning for the same day. I texted back and told him we rescheduled for Friday, Sept. 13 at 9am. He texted back and said be couldn't come on the 13th because he had another emergency. He previously told me that his family from Brazil would be town so I know this "emergency" was a lie. He texted back and said 12pm would be okay for the 13th. Later that night I get a text saying he again can't make it but they can come on Monday night. I told him we have dinner plans then and if we have to reschedule it can be for Tuesday night. He never responded to my last text. This morning, Sept. 13 I get a call at 11am saying his crew can be at my house in 20 mins to clean. I told him that my husband went to the gym and to run errands since he took the day off because they were supposed to come clean, and that he would be home by 1pm. He then has the balls to say, "well you scheduled at noon today and we can't come at 1pm! I will call you back and reschedule." Seriously?!?!? Needless to say I called Amazon Local, gave them the story and asked for my money back. The Amazon Local rep was apologetic and refunded my money. I have not heard back from Anderson, and at this point I wouldn't even trust him in my house! STAY AWAY from this company! read more

I had bought the Living Social deal last year and got my car cleaned in June 2012. My call was answered promptly and it was no trouble to schedule an appointment. He showed up on time and did an EXCELLENT job. We could not believe it was the same car - my car is 9+ years old and I have a young child so it's seen it's fair share of messes. I am surprised and saddened to see all the negative reviews here - I hope their service has not deteriorated as it's time for a good detailing again. I originally came across the Magic Clean team from a Groupon or something along those lines. They were awesome from the get-go, really easy to work with, and have been great to work with since. I've used their housekeeping service for over a year now, and am really pleased with the job they do. Bought a Living social voucher for 3 cleanings. Got my appointments. However, the first appointment, the ladies came and were late with no apologies. Their cleaning was sub par. I asked them to please mop the bamboo rugs as well and although they said yes, they did not. Not only did they not mop what they said they'd mop, but they didn't mop ANY of the floors. In addition, they did not do a thorough job of sweeping the place. There were dust and hair under tables and chairs (not heavy chairs) that they should have been able to reach. I felt like the ladies were more concerned about getting done than they were about the quality of their work. If i didn't have the other vouchers, i definitely will not have them "clean" my house again. read more

So Yelp has decided that my original negative review was lacking the content, thus removed my review . Well, here are I am again as I need to ensure that my experience, which is not much different from majority of others here, is public. I purchased a pre-paid $60 Living Social deal for a few hours of house cleaning work that this business was supposed to fulfill. I called Magic touch almost immediately to schedule an appointment. When the owner found out that I was calling via the Living Social deal, he informed that there were no appointments available for the subsequent 2 months. I called in February and got an appointment scheduled for the April timeframe. Fine I figured, as long it gets done. A week prior to my appointment I called back to reconfirm, spoke to the same person (the owner) and got a confirmation that my appointment was on for the subsequent Friday. Friday comes, I'm waiting and waiting, no show. I call back, he picks up, when I ask where they are, he tells me... "oh, I don't have your appointment for today in my book. For some reason I see it scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, but we don't work tomorrow so not sure what happened. Oh, and you know, I'm driving now, he says, please call me back so that we could re-schedule." That's the response? I scheduled them 2 months in advance, I then called to re-confirm... and after all of that, he had this weird mix up?? And guess what, all my subsequent calls went unanswered and unreturned. Of course, my $60 prepaid appointment was no longer of an interest to him. He collected my money and disappeared from the radar. I called Living Social for a refund and learned that I'm only eligible to get a refund within the first 2 weeks after the purchase. So, here I am. Money paid, service not fulfilled. And judging by all other reviews, he is still there practicing his fraudulent business. New customers, avoid at all costs! read more

The flat out lied to me. I ordered their coupon offer from yelp and made an appointment for them to clean my carpets and also clean my house. they called me and said they wouldn't accept the coupon and that it clearly states that it was only for car detailing. I have a printout of that coupon and told them it didn't say that and that I could show it to them. They refused to honor the coupon and kept on lying by saying that it did. This is my review for their home cleaning services, which I also posted under their other business name, SF Magic Clean. I found this service thru a Living Social Deal last Fall. I wasn't particularly upset about the difficulty in scheduling the initial service because I had already read other reviews about that. After the initial 3 service dates of my Deal, I have continued to use them on a regularly scheduled basis. Anderson, the owner, is really nice to deal with. He is professional, kind and truly dedicated to growing his business. I needed to change and add dates a number of times these last couple of months, and he always tried to accommodate my needs. As for the quality of the service, I think in this price range, they are excellent. I have tried many other services in the last few years, and SF Magic Clean is the best. I know that standards of cleanliness are all relative. I consider myself a bit ocd about cleaning. And I know I cannot spend my entire day cleaning my house to meet my standards because I have a job to go to. And I know that I have a certain budget to spend on keeping my house clean. For me, SF Magic Clean helps me achieve that balance. read more

Watch out for their Living Social deals. They advertise so much awesome stuff. I called them to check on a minor detail and the guy tells me the price does not include most of the stuff advertised in the deal. Actually, he said he wasn't even aware of everything that was being advertised. Very dishonest. Edit: The four specific thing they told me they wouldn't honor are: cleaning appliances, washing dishes, launder and change linens. Which is fine, it might be no big deal for some, but they shouldn't lure customers in with lies. But the guy also emphasized that this price includes only "basic" cleaning, which after having contacted them sounds to me like its not as comprehensive as they make it sound on their Living Social deal. Having neglected my 2003 Toyota 4runner, I needed some help. Anderson sent over Leo. Leo removed carpet stains (coffee) that had been in for YEARS. He 'clay barred' the entire vehicle to remove oxidization, and waxed the whole vehicle. I was blown away how GREAT a job Leo had done. He took years of the vehicle in a matter of hours. I spilled milk in my car and it was getting a really bad smell. I just wanted my seat cleaned but they cleaned the whole inside for a very reasonable price (I've had milk spilled in my car before, which was more pricey and didn't do the job). Magic Touch did a great job! Never knew the inside of my car could be so clean again! When I called the person's tone of voice changed as soon as he heard I had a coupon, and then he declined to do service in Mountain View claiming it is outside their service area. When I confronted him that the offer claims entire SF bay area he reluctantly agreed to come to Mountain view. However he asked me email him google offer before final confirmation. I had trouble scheduling once the owner found out I had a living social deal. First he said I should call back later. Then I left a message and didn't get a call back for a week. Finally, I called again and made an appointment. Next Leo showed up on time. He did a good job on the car but he accidentally put a big scrape right by my driver's side handle. The scrape was quite deep down to the metal. It will cost several hundred dollars to fix and will need to be fixed so the car doesn't rust out. Leo was apologetic saying he should have taken pictures. Then I talked to the owner who was very rude to me. He said he could do nothing and it wasn't possible that Leo did it. I told him I was sure that Leo did it because it was an area of my car I look at it each time I get in - right be the drivers handle and it had not been there when I moved the car out to have it cleaned by Leo. He asked if I could prove it. I said no, I wasn't there. I said I thought it was up to him to prove that he hadn't done it. I said that Leo admitted he should have taken pictures. The owner repeated that he could do nothing. I am planning to take this company to small claims court. I'm sure this exact thing won't happen to everyone because I'm sure it was an accident on the part of Leo. But the owner's lack of ethics in dealing with this situation is a fatal flaw for a business. read more

Originally I bought a groupon for three 2 hour housecleaning services and have been using them ever since, (for 3 months now). I'm very happy with how thoroughly they clean my home. They are always on time and call the day before to confirm, something I've never experienced with any other housecleaning services.
