The location is in Riel industrial park, just a few minutes off the Ray Gibbon exit from the Henday. The studio is on the second floor so if mobility is an issue, this shop might not be for you. It's an open concept top floor shop - beautiful, airy, and bright. Our piercings all healed okay, though I think it would have been better if we had been given options of non pronged noise piercings because they caught on masks, sheets, etc. my nose finally started healing once I purchased a flat style piece of jewelry elsewhere. Booking, waivers, and payments were all made electronically. Environment was spotless just as you'd hope for at a tattoo and piercing shop.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these guys, and will come back anytime I need work done!…read more I had two pretty easy one-colour tattoos scheduled for the same day, and had Kate as my artist. These were my first, and I was not sure what my pain threshold would be, but I was determined to do it! Kate is friendly and SO efficient! I couldn't believe how fast she knocked these out! One on my inner arm, and the other on my calf (gotta admit, I twitched, because there was some serious shading happening). But I appreciated the sheet they sent me beforehand with everything I might need (snacks and a pillow, ftw!) I couldn't believe I was done in just over 2 hours, so my price was less than quoted. The shop is immaculate, and for someone like me who had always been intimidated by the thought of a "tattoo parlor," it put me completely at ease. The music was cool 80s/90s rock and grunge, and I was completely relaxed there and with Kate. I was given good after-instructions for care and cleaning, as well. Other artists came over to check to see what she was working on, and were friendly and chatty. If you want new ink, come here! You won't regret it! I now want to plan a few more!

It's so great to have an artist that's creative, professional, and been in the industry for a decade as an owner and is still relevant! Also- even though we both chose a tender spot to have work done on- we were able to sit for the duration needed to complete the tattoo ( which is a sign of someone who knows what he's doing with a tattoo gun!) Don't let his cartoon-like portfolio fool u either- he has a huge creative range on what he can make happen !

They answered any and all questions I had and wanted to make sure that the idea I had for a tattoo was what I wanted to stick with for sure. They drew me a picture and sent me home to make sure that's what I wanted exactly and they saved me a spot in their books. I came back the next week and again they were very welcoming. They made sure I was super comfy in the chair and they had books to look at and when I needed a break it was no problem. I can honestly say I have never had a better experience even since then. Now it is the only place I want to go to get my work done and I feel that i have made new friends at the same time.

Stacy is my regular artist and he has basically covered my back and stomach. I've sent a few friends/family to him as well and they've always said he is professional, fair and talented. I love my tattoos and can't wait to keep covering my body! I have an absolutely bomb back-piece and stomach tattoo from Stacy - he does good work. I've also gone to Adam for some small tattoos and touch ups all around. I'm happy with those tattoos as well. Have yet to go to Kat, but I enjoy chatting with her about my tattoos, and we are planning on doing a pet piece soon. She loves Sphynx cats and I have an adorable Sphynx who I want to commemorate in as a tattoo - and my other pets too. Her style is very new traditional and is right up my alley so I can't wait to get started. I have no doubt in my mind that I'll be here getting tattoo'd. It's my regular place, you can always trust them to do great work! Prices are also always fair, you can tell they want to give the best possible work but aren't looking to bleed you dry. Awesome shop!

I'm happy to pay the price for a good tattoo. Overall, it was a quick and efficient experience. I am very happy with my new tattoo. My only qualm is that there is barely any parking because the parking lot is very busy.

I will never go to another tattoo studio again!…read more I had my very old and dated tattoo covered up by the very talented Richard Harding a few months ago. I sent him a few photos of what I had in mind and it's like he crawled into my brain! I could not be happier! While it took longer than anticipated, it was well worth the wait! What I love most about Urge 2 is how it's like a big, loving, dysfunctional family! Just like my own! Every single artist here is different in their style, and they are not afraid to send you to a different artist if what you're looking for is not their style and more someone else's! They also offer tattoo removal if you're looking to have that old one zapped away to make room for something new and fabulous! I've heard it's quite painful! Now, this isn't your back alley shop, so know what you want and have the appropriate budget in mind! Tattoos are expensive and really a piece of art displayed on your body! I recommend any of Urges artists!
