The staff here are truly wonderful and highly skilled, the front desk is extremely kind and accommodating. I have mild scoliosis and couldn't figure out the best approach to a pain-free massage, but leave it to the staff to recommend a "pregnancy massage" - works like a charm for me since I can't lay on my stomach comfortably! Marissa gives - hands down - THE BEST facials. Having never enjoyed someone touching my face (EVER), this is honestly my favorite service each and every time. Marissa customized my facials each time depending on what my skin needs. She's such a sweet person too! Kathy gives the best pedicures and honestly is just a wonderful human being. I lost my mom recently and she just showered me with love - thank you for always being amazing. I've had a few masseuses but Claudia takes the cake and I won't go to anyone else now. She is very accommodating due to my back, and gives me some tips for between massages. She's a wonderful, kind person as well. Thank you for always taking care of me!

Great massage and a great price. I will definitely make this part of my regular routine.read more

After 11-plus years living in downtown Chicago, I moved in with my Warrenville-based boyfriend just…read moreover a year ago. Massage has always been part of my self-care routine--when my body really needs it and I can afford it. We both gave up on Massage Envy years ago, when the prices kept going up, the best masseuses kept leaving, and the quality of the overall experience cratered. So I was on the hunt for a reliable place near us that wouldn't cost a fortune. After researching a bunch of places, I decided to give Spa Oasis in Naperville a try. And I'm so glad I did! Yes, it's in a strip mall and doesn't look like much from the outside. And yes, you won't be getting the fancy amenities of a spa. But you will get a blissful massage at a great price. A 90-minute deep-tissue massage for $115 is a shockingly good deal. (I paid close to $200 for 90 minutes at the fancy Chicago spa I used to frequent, making it a luxury gift I treated myself to only a few times a year.) Spa Oasis accepts walk-ins, but they also have a booking tool on their website that lets you select your preferred staff member (provided she's working that day). This is where things get a little frustrating--and why I'm giving Spa Oasis four stars instead of five ... Even when you request a specific staff member, you won't always get her. (We both love Sunny, so we always book a day/time when she's working so that one of us will benefit from her magic touch.) But the past two times we went in for a pre-scheduled couples massage with Sunny, neither of us got her. :( We also have regularly experienced the service disruptions other reviewers have mentioned, where one of the masseuses leaves in the middle of a treatment to answer the phone, direct a walk-in to come back at a later time, accept a delivery, etc. It would be great if they had a dedicated staffer to handle the administrative stuff so the masseuses didn't have to. That said: We are STILL talking about the massages we got a week ago from Lucia (the owner) and Tina. WOW! I've also had great experiences with Annie. As one of the other reviewers said, I want to go every single day. If only!

There is a high demand, and you can walk in, but it's best to make an appointment. The masseurs prefer cash tips, so please keep that in mind. The place is always clean, always looks good and is has a really relaxing environment. Also, you can always ask for a female vs a make, or vice versa. You can indicate the level of intensity of your massage, as well, but even during the massage you can very easily change your mind and indicate otherwise. The masseurs are always asking if you're okay throughout. If you don't feel okay, let them know, and if you're light skinned like I am, you may experience some redness - so please be vocal about what works for you and what does not work. For these prices, this massage place cannot be beat!!!
