After discussing the nail design I wanted, the nail tech got to work! It was an efficient process that I'm glad to report had no accidental nipping. Online my appointment was designated as being a 90 minute slot which was very accurate! My nails honestly came out soooo cute and I'm very happy with the results. If I had any complaints, it would just be at the end when I went to take a photo for my friends and I realized my cuticles looked kind of crusty since the tech didn't apply any hand cream or cuticle oil. My boyfriend received a full massage during his pedicure while I received none. He was also left sitting in used spa water long after his service was over. I encountered lots of issues, but the biggest of which was at the end of the appointment when I put…read moremy hand in my pocket to get my wallet, one of the nails, halfway completely smudged off, even with a topcoat and lots of time to dry. The technician immediately offered to fix it and at the end of that repair she would not let me touch my own wallet and took my debit card from me to put it back in my wallet and even took my phone for a moment. She clearly did not want me rubbing my polish against anything which makes sense but I don't need help with that and it felt intrusive. I spent twice as long, making sure that one nail was dried after repair, and when I got back to the car and reached in my pocket to get out my keys, that nail got smudged off again. This only happened on the one nail, which is very strange. I've had many manicures and have never encountered this. I also asked for a dark purple color with no sparkle, and they kept bringing me light blues with sparkle, and trying to convince me to change my mind about the color that I wanted (which I don't understand their reasoning for this at all, and why it matters to them) and would not let me simply walk over to the polish wall to pick my own color. When my nail technician finally brought over a couple of dark purples, a secondary nail technician came over & started to have a conversation about the two polishes and whether they looked similar or not. This was all after I had very obviously quickly chosen a color. During the appointment, that second nail technician kept coming over and staring at my hands which was uncomfortable. Finally, when choosing the tip amount during payment, the receptionist brought the card reader over (rather than waiting for me to walk to the register) and put the screen directly in front of the technician and myself, and the technician was staring at the screen, watching what my tip selection was.

Despite fitting me into an already busy schedule, she took her time and was very thorough. I also opted for callus removal, and the results exceeded my expectations. Because I train in jiu-jitsu, my feet can become quite rough, so it felt wonderful to leave with them feeling soft and well cared for again. She paid close attention to detail, shaping my nails, addressing cuticles, and ensuring everything looked polished. Overall, I highly recommend this salon. I do suggest making an appointment in advance, as they may not accept walk-ins.
