(This is a long one, but it is a must read!) I am a glam girl to the MAX and I am an absolute PERFECTIONIST when it comes to my beauty regimen. I like my services done just like I like it and I want it done by someone who cares and who will always do an amazing job every time I come in- and that's Tammy. We've all been to those salons where the nail technicians just brush you off and don't give the slightest inclination that they care about your presence or what you want out of your service- but not Tammy. She has been the store owner for over 25 years and she knows how to treat her customers right to ensure they leave feeling good and happy about their service. I've been coming here for over a year now, every two weeks, to see this amazing woman who is not only a GODDESS at her work, but also one of the kindest and most loving/caring people I've ever met. She is LITERALLY the best nail technician I've EVER had, and there's no way in hell I'd ever go see anyone else. I constantly receive compliments on my nails outside of the salon (probably one to three times or more on the daily) and it's because Tammy does such an amazing job!! Because I've been coming here for so long now, I don't even have to tell her what I want or the shape I want to achieve. Because I want the same thing every time, Tammy actually REMEMBERS and does it flawlessly. Of course she will always consult with me and make sure I want the same thing, but ladies, common, where are you going to find that anywhere else? I am absolutely stunned that this establishment doesn't have 5 stars all around. I've never been to a place where I am warmly greeted every time I walk through the door and feel constantly taken care of throughout my entire service. Tammy always makes me feel like a priority and she always makes sure my nails are done just the way I like them. If there are any changes I want to make during the service, I know I can always ask her politely and receive the warmest response that "it's no problem, I just want to make you happy!" I went in for acrylic toes and they charged me $175 for a French tip. She said it was $100 just for the acrylic and another $75 for the gel. I don't think that that makes any sense when a full set on a hand does not even cost $100. I don't think the quality of work was worth $175. She charged me for a full gel pedicure with extra $100 charge for acrylic. That is insane!!! On top of all that she rushed as she had people waiting and did not take her time. read more

A small nail salon with waxing services. Three pedicure chairs with massage availability and four spots for manicures. The actual quality of the service was good. Lots of colors to choose from. This is my first time doing gel nails on my toes. They look great. Also got my eyebrows done and they look decent. My mom got a set of gel mani and pedi. The two star rating is for how long we had to wait. Not that the actual service was slow. But there was one woman working the entire time we were there. We had to wait for her to finish someone before us. Then it was our turn. Then another girl came in for a repair. We were there for two hours!!! The entire time the woman was rushing. Like I said, her work was good. That's probably why she gets so much business. She needed more help though. And keep in mind, we went within the first 30 min of opening (9:30 in the morning on a Monday). Don't come here if you're in a rush. read more

Waaay over priced and this is with no nail polish or fancy decorations!!! My mom used to come here and I thought of giving it a try but never again. I didn't want a skin infection so I left the salon in order to put hydrogen peroxide and band aids on my toe. I will give them the recognition of good customer service, but the prices we received were not appropriate. I'm being generous with this rating. BEWARE and be sure you are clear about which pedicure you want. My friend and I were in town on business and popped in for a pedicure. We both CLEARLY indicated which one we wanted from the menu ... it was a $45 thing with lots of bells and whistles. When we were done they told us it would be $60 ... that we had somehow chosen the most expensive pedicure. Nope. Not gonna happen. We paid $45. Not very impressed. I love gel manicures, especially with nail art. Driving down to see my lady in Port Hueneme every 2-3 weeks is not possible so I have decided to hunt for a decent place within Santa Barbara. I know it'll be more expensive but if the quality is there then the time saved in driving & gas will be worth the extra cost. Fancy Nails was my first try in town for gel art and the hunt will continue... $66 for a gel manicure with a simple design which involved drawing lines in 2 different colors?! Ridiculous. The tools? Not sanitized and I was cut twice. Not even an inviting environment. The furniture is older, the place feels cheap and basic. One of my gels chipped in 2 days, luckily I was able to salvage it and the rest of the gel polish lasted 1.5 weeks prior to lifting. read more

Pretty disappointed that I spent 60 on a pedicure that lasted all of five days. The polish completely popped off and I had to go somewhere else to get another pedi inside of a week. Also upgraded my pedicure but apparently not enough to get more than a 30 second half effort in a massage. Service seems to reallyyyy vary depending on who you get. I am furious - this was by far the WORST nail salon I've ever been to. I made an appointment, but still had to wait 10 minutes to be seen. She was rushing so much that it took her only about 10 minutes to do my acrylic set. She did the worst set I've ever seen... My nails are completely uneven AND she had the nerve to ask me if I would mind doing my own polish at home!!!! AWFUL waste of $30.00. And now I have to take these ugly nails off. The place isn't as good as it seems to be. I got my nails done and during the process, they cut three of my fingers which ended up bleeding from the sides and cuticles. The nails aren't what I'd expect them to be. I got medium nails that they charged to be long. On top of that they didn't do the design as well as I'd hoped. One of the nails ended turning out sideways, but the rest of the nail's shapes aren't bad. At the end, they charged me $138 which is way too expensive for what I got. I went for a nice vacation from LA and decided to come here due to good reviews well the lady was in a rush to do my nail and now a possible problem she mentioned I had to be cleaned up and it was the worst pain ever she went to deep and now I have a possible infection nd my toenail might fall off because she cut too deep in my toe nail on my Ingrown and made me bleed and bleed and covered it up with nail polish I immediately went to a store to get nail polish remover and begin treating my nail my skin had a huge while and my cut and toe is yellow. I've given this place one too many chances. On the first occasion, I went in just for a gel color change. I asked her not to file or change my shape because my nails were freshly done and beautiful, I just wasn't content with the color. She filed my nails even after I repeatedly asked her not to. I was left with short nails. Frustrating but oh well. The second time I went in I asked for a fill. My friends get their nails done there and their nails always look lovely so it seemed like a good route to go since my regular place was fully booked. I called to make sure they had availability, they said no one was there and when I showed up there was 3 people ahead of me waiting. I sat there and placed my coffee on the table beside me. Tammy was working on someone's pedicure. She needed something from the little fridge on the table next to me so she moved my coffee by placing her hand on the lid of it! Umm hello! You're working on a PEDICURE! DO NOT touch the lid of my coffee! Furious, but desperate to get my nails done, I tossed my coffee, got my nails done and again was left with cuts all over my cuticles. The nails were well done but not worth all the cuts and bleeding. On the last and final occasion I was in, I chose a color from that brand that has the gel and the regular option in the same color. I wanted the regular polish. Tammy saw that her assistant had picked up the regular color and started telling me that I can only do the gel. They then began arguing in their language. I could tell her assistant was trying to help me and get me the non gel color. Tammy was angry and took the color from her hands and said no, only gel. Her assistant grabbed a similar color from the display rack and began painting my nails. I chose to stay quiet for the sake of her assistant not getting yelled at any longer. She finished painting my nails and told me to sit there to let them dry. 2 minutes later Tammy yelled out "is something wrong? you're still here" ... So rude! I am a fingerstyle guitar player. And, I rely on my right-hand acrylic nails to play the musical journeys that I am composing. For many years, now, Tammy has been delivering the very best nail service for my unique needs. (I had tried other salons...) During the social distancing protocols, all of my acrylic nails grew out, to the point that I had to remove them a couple of weeks ago. Today was the first day of re-opening. Pros: I usually go here when I want to get a set of acrylic nails. The husband does an amazing job! Plus he's gentle, attentive, and very nice. HOWEVER Cons: I absolutely refuse to let his wife do anything to me whatsoever!!! In the area of nails, she is rough, hasty, and does not pay attention!!! My boyfriend got his eyebrows done by her today, and it's safe to say she is the same... She was hasty, didn't pay attention, and didn't listen!!! Unfortunately, his eyebrows turned out lopsided, majorly thinned out, and were arched like a woman's!!! This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to In My Life! First of all, when I showed them the picture of the nails that I wanted them to do for me, they told me no problem that they could do it. Well, it wasn't even close to what I showed them. Then I tried to work with them knowing that all nails are not going to look exactly the same. They both started yelling at me.
