I had to go to the Dr. And the owner called me and swore at me for posting a negative review . I told her I am reporting her to health department. I decided to write this review out of sincere disappointment in my continuing experiences at this nail salon. Last weekend marked the end of my flexibility in dealing with their mismanagement of the business. Do you get your nails done because it is a chore, but mostly because it makes you feel good and is relaxing? There is nothing relaxing about my year-long visit to this salon. Things I enjoyed: Monica does a great job with my nails. I like being able to book appointments online, and I enjoy that they are open on Sunday. What bad experiences do I have every time I go - my appointments are never respected. You wait forever, you might get sat at the pedicure bowl, but the water is far too hot or cold, and no one checks in with you. They leave you there for a ridiculous amount of time because they take every appointment and walk-in. If you think you can go and get your nails done with a friend, that won't happen. One of you will be started first, and the other left waiting. Several times, my friend has had her nail service completed before I even get started! You can't get any fun stuff done with your nails because there is no time. I normally go to another salon, but came here since it was booked up. It was a slow day, so they were able to get me in as a walk-in for an acrylic fill and gel pedicure immediately. At other salons I'll get the same combination, and have to move from the pedicure chair to a table when it's time to do my nails, but they did both for me while sitting in the pedicure chair, which was SO convenient and relaxing. The pedicure was one of the best i've ever had, and it looks phenomenal. My nails were done amazingly, although I usually just get french tip, the technician made sure they were perfect. It was pricier than getting a pedicure and acrylic fill usually is for me ($115), but so worth my time and money. I would recommend this salon to anyone! read more

My appointment was at 2pm. At 2:30 they sat me in a chair. At 2:45 they finally started my appointment. At 2:48 another client complained so the manager told my person to stop my appointment and work on the other client instead. She offered to send someone else over to me but that person was in the middle of someone else's appointment. At that point I got up and left, without getting my nails done. I'm not one to write reviews but I thought in this case I should. I had a mani pedi done yesterday here for the first time on a high recommendation. Unfortunately my experience was not good. The woman who did my pedicure cut my little toe really bad. She said sorry which I'm sure she was, but she didn't even stop and clean it and it was bleeding. Instead she put my foot in the water to stop the bleeding. The woman doing my manicure could see how much pain I was in and told the owner. The owner did get some ointment and Vaseline to put on it and apologized for the incident. I have been in pain ever since and it's been 24 hours. I'm sorry I have to write a bad review I but I thought people should be aware.it hurts to walk in shoes today. read more

The ladies did a great job on my pedicure and manicure today. This is one of the few nail salons nowadays that actually takes their time and gives you the full treatment - leg scrub, lotion, hot towels, etc. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 out of 5 stars is because of minor details. I had removed my nail polish on my toes prior to coming in but had missed a few spots. I requested the pedicure with just clear polish rather than putting another color on, and at the end I saw a couple spots where my previous red polish was still there. Also, a few of the chairs could use a little bit of an upgrade (see pic), but I don't really care about that kind of stuff. Overall, they were super friendly and the color selection for shellac was incredible. So many options! I'd definitely go back! read more

As someone somehow has owned their own business and have worked in customer service for a good half of my life, I just think this salon is doing so many things wrong. This business is the perfect example of quantity vs quality. I made an appointment for 5:15 the previous night and arrived a few minutes after. The place was packed and immediately I was ready for a slight wait. I booked a mani and pedi and waited for almost a half hour before I decided to just do a mani to save time. I then waited another half hour for the owner to start on my nails. She asked if I made an appointment and told me that she didn't approve it yet. So she asked me to come back the next day...AFTER AN HOUR OF WAITING!!!! She rushed through taking my polish off, used an old file while rushing through cleaning up the seats for other customers. She had to turn away customers but also took in some depending on her feeling of what she can rush through. At this point she should have closed her doors and just focus on her waiting customers, but no, she wanted to get as many people packed in there as possible. I just don't think if you're rushing like this, how can the place be cleaned properly first of all, but also, how are you ensuring that you're doing your customers a good thorough job. The place try to entice you by saying that they offer cocktails or wine whatever. Don't buy into that crap. Go somewhere where they're not treating customers like a slaughter factory and have a relaxing time because that's what getting nails done should feel like. read more

Worst nail salon I've gone to. They are really rude and the technician did a poor and rushed job. I went here as a last resort because my beloved salon was closed and I needed a few nails fixed. She just pried my nails off rather than soaking them because she didn't want to do them. I also asked 3x if they had dip powder, and nobody answered but I was waived to the table so I assumed they had it. After ripping my nails off she went for the acrylic which I explained I was allergic to and she said they didn't have dip powder. She got an attitude and called over the lady who took my appointment who then began yelling at me which was utterly humiliating. 10/10 will never return. Ps the nails she "fixed" look awful and now I'm unhappily stuck with them. read more

Love this location, I have been coming here with my sister and step mom for years. There was even an addition 20% off for customer appreciation (big sign outside). They did a great Job on our shellac and were very kind. No polish on my cuticles which is the worst for shellac. The hand massages seemed short and for some reason I got a hot towel for my hands but my sister didn't. Maybe it was due to the fact that the moment two other people walked in, they hurried to finish ours so that they could get to the new customers. I felt pushed out the door. Love the convenience of the location. Walk in is always hit or miss on wait time. However, the couch is comfy and there is always a stack of tabloid smut to flip through. Not to mention water and coffee. The gal who waxes my brows is sweet and personable. She remembers small details and I like that. Hadn't been in about 7 months at least and she remembered my hubs job, that my little girl had just turned 3...stuff like that keeps a girl coming back. :) My 3 year old wanted her toes and nails painted, they always do a great job and are sweet to her. So the 10$ + a tip is fine. It makes her very happy to "look beautiful " as she calls it. I got a gel manicure and it was done very nicely. I have never waited more than a few minutes for service 2. I have been always offered complementary beverage service 3. It is clean, with a beautiful interior 4. Every time I have gotten a pedicure in conjunction with a gel manicure, it has been done Simultaneously, in which I've been able to walk out in an hour or less (fast and efficient) 5. I REALLY want to like this place. Heather is always engaging, friendly and welcoming. However, every time I arrive for my scheduled appointment, I have had to wait at least 15 mins for my service to start. I've been here about 5 times total. It is very frustrating to expect to be there an hour and leave closer to 1.5 hours later. I'd like to see them do a better job of managing the time. Also, the skills of the mail techs are inconsistent. At my last pedicure, the tech cut my nails too short and as a result, I have 2 ingrown toenails- super ouch! read more

I have been going to magic nails for around a year now, my entire family loves it there. You walk in and immediately feel welcomed. They take time out of their day to get to know you. When I call and say my name to book an appointment i'm always greeted with a "Sydney!! how are you?!" and such. Their work is phenomenal and they'll even give you tea, water, or soda free of charge. I was always appreciative of a nail salon that was in walking distance from me. I used to go here for eyebrow waxing and they always did a great job. The owner, I want to say her name is Tina, was always so attentive and she always remembered details about me or my mom. I don't live in the area anymore so I don't go anymore but whenever my mom gets her eyebrows done, she always tells me how she asks about me. Now for the nails, each time I've came it was for acrylics. Sometimes they'll be really busy so you have to wait but when they have you already they rush the process. It's never too much of a mess so it doesn't bother me, but they could slow down a bit since we are paying customers. Overall, this place feels like home to me. The girls are always so nice and I don't feel out of place there. I do recommend coming in the middle of the week or making an appointment so you're not stuck waiting. read more

This last visit they raised prices & didn't tell me about it until after they were done. I asked how much total was when I sat down. Used to always be $17 for polish change & the prices on wall still said so, $7 fingers, $10 toes & I pay before starting. I brought $21 for tip. When I asked total, the girl wi broken English said "u pay after", and I thought whatever, here's the $ so I don't have to fumble for it while polish is still soft. Well the owner came over after & said prices went up & it was $22. $10 fingers, $12 toes. Needless to say, for such sloppy quality I could do same at home, I Won't be returning here. Often have zero parking. Don't do a great job. Every time feels super rushed. Like hardly even look @ ur nails while working on them. Take off polish sloppy, leaving a lot behind, then the buffing is half done. The topcoat is always missing on edges of nails, which is more apparent after a few days & u see the lines where it's not to edges. 2 visits ago, the girl put oil on my toes after buffing. Then with the oil on her gloves rolled up my hem/cuffs on my jeans to wash them & stained my jeans. I had to throw them away. This last time the girl didn't even bother to put the toe separators in my toes before polishing. Then my 4th toe goes under 3rd toe & messes up my polish. Just unprofessional. read more
