I have never had such an amazing pedicure in my life! Today I was a walk in and they welcomed me right away. They spent very careful amount of time working on my feet, but I have to tell you this place is one of the most lovely nail spas I've seen in a long time it is very comfortable and there are multiple rooms for all sorts of services such as waxing And massage services. You really need to check this place out they offer a plethora of service. However, my pedicure very skilled very thorough but the one thing I thought was really neat was the final part where they put this wax sort of tea stuff around your feet and pulls up all the dead skin and my feet are as soft as baby feet though lol OL. I am new to Edmonds having moved from Seattle and am looking for a new nail salon that does dip powder. I tried Main Street nails twice to get the dip powder manicure (which I have been getting for several months now at a salon in Seattle). Both times at Main Street nails my nails chipped after TWO days! That has never happened with dip powder at other salons. Usually dip powder lasts 2-3 weeks with no chips! I even asked at my second appointment for a thicker application and was told they don't do it that way. I went back the second time thinking that maybe it was my fault my nails had chipped the first time. For $40 plus tip - my nails shouldn't chip after just two days, especially when dip powder is advertised (on a poster in Main Street nails) to last 2 weeks! Pros: cute area, prices are comparable to other salons, my nails looked nice for two days. Cons: no parking, wait times (even with an appointment), money wasted on service that doesn't last longer than 48 hours. read more

THANK YOU TO MY NEW HOME! The last salon I was going to was similarly priced but kept cutting me and every other time I went my nails were trash. I got sick of the inconsistency so I set off for a new home. Main St. Nails was SO thorough, my nails are lump free, and they were able to recreate the design I found online flawlessly. She was also super gentle, and warned me when she had to pull a bit to get a broken acrylic off. Hopefully this place is consistent, I missed the girls name who did my nails today. I got a manicure. She did a good job overall, but the process was very stressful. She was rushing VERY fast because they were busy & understaffed which is understandable, but was filing away at my nails SO fast that my fingers hurt. I came in as soon as they opened, they were already busy (I'm not sure if they are always this busy, or maybe for Mother's Day lots of ladies came in before the weekend). I was stressing the entire time and not relaxed. Also she didn't do a clean around my cuticles before applying. Not sure why salons stopped cleaning the nail bed and trimming the overgrown skin around the nails. I'm glad my nails did look good in the end, but the overall process stressed me out because of how fast she was doing my nails with the filers around my nails. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you want to feel relaxed and pampered. read more

This was my first visit to this nail salon. It was easy to get an appointment, although you have to call, there is no online booking; I got in the same day, and it was a Friday around lunchtime. They were very busy, and the service felt "rushed", but overall it was a good experience, and I would go back. They are reasonably priced, I was charged $55 for a full set of a dip manicure with extensions. The only complaint I have is that the nail tech. did not push back my cuticles, like most places do, so after a week my nails look more grown out then they should. I would make sure to mention this if you go there. That should be standard procedure, in my opinion, or at least they could ask if I wanted it done. Also, they did not trim or do anything but "rough up" my real nail before applying the dip, no hand lotion, no hand massage.... Maybe that's not part of the service, but I have had this done at other places before. My nails turned out nice otherwise. Took only about 30min. for the whole thing. read more

It's somewhat with a heavy heart that I write this review as I've been going to this nail spot on and off for several years. They've always been friendly and helpful with good prices however I've recently had quality concerns. During the past 6 months or so I stopped in a few times and noticed when getting my nails done they'd pull tools out of a drawer, clearly not freshly cleaned, and then do my nails and toss it back in the drawer. Since then, I've had repeated nail infections, one after another. I now have chronic paronychia. I'd show pictures but it's kind of gross. All I can say is, proceed with caution. read more

The reason I have decided to use Main Street nails is convenience and timeliness. I live in Edmonds, I love downtown Edmonds. I want to support local Edmonds because I am also a fellow Edmonds business employee. "Sweet" is a great word I read someone else use to describe the salon. And the girls there are sweet too.
