I came in as a walk-in for a basic pedicure and was paired with Linda. I was very explicit in asking her not to cut or file my nails down to the "nub," and while she nodded and seemed to understand, she did the exact opposite. Beyond the length, she clipped away at my cuticles for so long that they are now extremely raw, partially bleeding, and so sore that I can't even stand in the shower without stinging pain. My biggest concern now is the risk of infection given how deep she clipped into the skin. While Linda was very nice, she didn't follow my simple instructions, and I left with damaged, vulnerable skin instead of a relaxing service. I like the atmosphere here, but the lack of care for my physical comfort was a major issue. *Please note that photos of ankle scar is caused by a previous operation, the zoomed in photo is where you can see the new open wounds the salon left from aggressively scrubbing with a dry, hard (& cheap) sponge.*

My wife asked for recommendations from friends and coworkers and got this place. Honestly I never noticed it! The people here are so damn friendly! There is such a "neighborhood" feel to the place like in the old days. Everyone seems to know everyone They play classic rock instead of elevator music, I particularly enjoyed it while waiting. They also have a couch for the guys to sit on till their wives finish. I'm pretty sure they cut mens hair too though, but I didn't need a cut today. The prices seem pretty competitive. As I walk in the door I was greeted and asked what I was in for I told her a Hair cut and was asked to sit down and someone would be with me shortly . While waiting ( waited about 3 min ) my toddler found some toys and started playing so I was happy because that keep him entertained while mommy was getting a hair cut. Everyone was super friendly one lady even bought my son some chips from the vending machine ( she asked me first if it was ok ). Didn't even pay attention to the fact that they're not allowing reviews anymore. Guess now, I know why. Went in as a walk in. Showed the lady what I was looking for and she said that she could do it. I waited hrs. I was ok with that as I was a walk in. In the end, she had me sit with a very nice but obviously not skilled (for what I was looking for) man who couldn't even do my French tips correctly. I had to correct him several times and then finally gave up. When it came to my design, his idea of it was putting a sticker on my nail, and then coloring over it with the correct color which he still wasn't able to do. She had to come over and do one of my designs. I opted out of having the rest of my nails designed. $75 for my Nails to be done and they're not even done right. I was so looking forward to finding my new salon. Guess I'm still looking... Don't be fooled and wind up as disappointed as I was. We pay too much for our nails to be done for them to look bad.
