We just moved from LA and are fairly regular with nails. I (M54) was pleasantly surprised to discover Magic Nail today with my kids. First of the prices are reasonable, I always get mani-pedi, oldest daughter had acrylics and younger likes gels. Their nails look great, the technicians were friendly and took their time. I got the spa man-pedi special. Fantastic treat I highly recommend it. I asked for a shiny buff on both feet and hands and wasn't even charged extra wish I totally appreciate as a man who never gets polish. Great discovery we'll be back! read more

This place doesnt even deserve one star, the two employees talked amongst themselves didn't even pay attention to what she was doing to me. She completely skipped the part where they cut the excess cuticle she didnt even do that. In my picture you can see the dead skin still left on my toes and the horrible job she did painting them, it bothered me to have to pay someone $20 who didnt deserve it she talked to her co worker the entire time didnt fully complete the service and the things she did do she ruined. Had to come home and take the polish off because it was so horrible and the sad part is that nothing will be done about that place and they will continue their poor service. They should be shut down. read more

Horrible service. I ended up with 2 bleeding toes that got infected. They put on one coat of polish - no primer, no top coat. Didn't even bother with callous removal (and I didn't say anything because by that time I was bleeding). You can do better. Save yourself the pain and medical bills and go elsewhere. read more

Heidi did my nails over a week ago and GELAC nails still look great! Came back for a pedicure (no appt. needed) and received great service again. Tam has a fresh innovative perspective for what she does. Great local place that I will continue to give my business too. read more

I have been to this place 3 times. The first 2 visits we're nice and the staff was friendly. This last visit has made me not want to come back. The nail tech who did my fill was incredibly unfriendly. She barely spoke two words to me and didn't look at me. She would grab my hand roughly. She was going way to fast and burned my skin with the filing thing like 3 times. I would not recommend her to anyone ever!! read more

I moved to WA 3 years ago, from San Francisco, a place where i had my nails and toes done at least once a month - i had this done for decades down here. I now live in the Grand Coulee area (nail salon's are sparse) and was over in Millwood as my husband was at the dental office next to this place (he's the one that told me there was a nail salon here). Made my appt. for 1st thing in the morning, as my husband's dental appt. was also 1st thing (we had time to get coffee's from the starbucks around the corner). Wanting to pamper myself (because this is rare for me these days) decided to get a pedicure and a full set (acrylic). This was every bit as good as the regular place i would go to in San Francisco. I don't know the gals name who did my nails/toes but she was fabulous. Yes, pricier than SF, but i expect that out here. I will go back to this place every chance i get (which won't be often, i wish it were closer because i'd maintain my nails like i did in SF). This was the perfect place to pamper myself and my nails and toes both look phenomenal. read more

My wife went to the salon on trent to get a gel manicure and 6 days later it started to peel. She went in to see if they would fix it( after spending 20 dollars 6 days prior for the manicure )and they charged her 15 dollars to fix their mistake!! All they want here is money and don't care about customer service. she will never go back again. Be warned If they don't like what you are saying they just go into "no speaka English"but can say 20 dollars clear as day! read more

This place is absolutely the worst nail salon I have ever been to. My friend and I went there together and spent $115. We both got a pedicure and our nails done my friends nails looked great and her nail tech was very nice and communicated with her mine however was very rude and did a horrible job, when I told her that I wanted them long she told me that they charge extra for long nails and that I couldn't afford them. My nails looked really bad on one hand and were so sloppy and ugly and the other hand my nails looked great. I wasn't even home an hour when I went to pet my dog and my pinky nail came off, my real nail as well and it was bleeding. Im going to go to the urgent care and have them look at it to make sure it's not infected or anything. When she told me that I couldn't afford long nails I wanted to go off on her and walk out and not give her a cent. But fortunately for her my mom taught me better. I will NEVER EVER go there again. This was definitely the worst experience I've ever had getting my nails done and I am very disappointed. I wish there was something I could do that would get this place either inspected or even shut down but unfortunately it won't ever happen because these people act like they don't understand when there's any type of confrontation or u tell them u don't like something. read more

I went to magic nails for my first set of acrylics. My tech was very nice and I think she did a great job on them. They aren't bumpy and I experienced no discomfort. The gel polish application is perfect, too! Again, no bumps or roughness. She didn't pressure me into other services which made me feel a lot more comfortable. I am very sad about my experience here. I live in Millwood and love the convenience and prices of this salon. However, the last two times I have been there to have my nails done, I have been so bluntly insulted. About two month ago, I went in and the gal was so nice and friendly like always, then she started complimenting my skin and my hair, which was so sweet but then she followed up those compliments by asking me "so why don't you fix your teeth?" Well, now I don't to open my mouth due the to comments out of her mouth. I waited about 3 weeks before going back. Shame on me, I should have taken my business elsewhere. The last time I went there, I got my normal fill with shellac nail polish. We were chatting about how she had found a new style she wanted to try on Pinterest. She said it wasn't much different than what I normally have, and said I could change it if I didn't like it. I said sure, go ahead! She tried to describe the technique to me which came across as "cheppy nails." She did the technique and honestly they did not look a whole lot different to me. She then tried to explain it to me by saying "its like the difference between me and you, not fat..." I then asked, "do you mean chubby?!" Her response was "YES!! Look, now your nails look like you!" I cannot even begin to express how insulted and insecure I felt at that very moment. With a full shop of women just looking at me. Mind you, I am a little heavy but not fat by any means. I wanted to tell her exactly what I was thinking, however I didn't want to rip her a new one in front of all those women. Needless to say, I will never be returning to this salon. read more

Worst manicure I've ever had. No lotion/massage on hands, no hot towel--basically just a polish change. Rough with filing and buffing. Asked at least 10 times why I didn't want gel polish. So irritating. Will never go back. read more

I can't even comment on services. I walked in the door and waited at the counter. A customer looked up at me. Then both employees looked at me, made eye contact, then ignored me. I had to leave here and go to my normal nail shop to get my nails fixed after the staff refused to do my nails how I like them. It should not be hard to complete a short French tip, Isn't that classic work? The staff was rude. I was highly unsatisfied and let them know and they did nothing to fix or compensate the problem. I just finished getting a pedicure for me and nails painted for my 3 year old granddaughter....I'm FURIOUS to say the least. I asked for a pedicure assuming it would be your basic pedicure and maybe 9.00 to get my granddaughter fingernails painted. No one asked me if I wanted a deluxe pedicure and that's apparently what I received and was charged 30.00 for a this unasked for deluxe service and they charged 15.00 for my granddaughters nails. I didn't feel like causing a scene so I just paid but I will never be back and I will never recommend this salon to anyone. It is also a very unsanitary salon. I would have given it 0 stars if I could have. This salon rips its customers off. read more

IF YOU ARE READING THIS- RUN AWAY!!! I paid 50 dollars for acrylic nails and I got a pedicure. For one, the pedicure looks like I painted it myself- the paint is uneven and they didn't clean up around my toes. But the most disappointing part of my experience here at "Magic Nails" was the acrylics. I asked for a natural possibly translucent like pink, and she comes out with a bubble gum pink nail polish to paint on TOP of my acrylics. When I mention the color to my nails lady she tried to reassure me that it would turn out exactly the way I wanted. Well it didn't. And on top of that she didn't even paint to the back of my finger nails so it looks like my nails are already grown out! The painting is uneven also...what a waist of money. I had to schedule an appointment with hey gorgeous salon so that way they could fix it. This is not my first bad experience with magic nails. They are also very rude, and I have never been satisfied with my nails here like I have at other salons. They half-ass everything including the pedicure and last time I went they didn't even ask if I wanted my nails filed or cut! This is the worst nail salon I've ever been to and I'll never go back. PLEASE don't make the same mistake and go here. Take your money somewhere else. read more
