Daughter and I stopped in after making an appt an hour earlier for two gel manicures. I haven't been here in five years, but was pleasantly surprised! New owners, new decor, more pedicure and manicure stations and a spa like atmosphere. My technician was Johnny and I was literally finished within thirty minutes! Beautiful colors to choose from and flawless finish! The best part was that they took us as soon as we walked in, even though we had to call twice to tell them we were running behind schedule! It's usually the other way around, but we were impressed and happy with everyone's friendly demeanor! We will definitely be back! read more

This is second time I've tried coming here. Wanted to give it another chance. Both times I have had one of the ladies. The men who work there seem to take their time and both women I've had rush and hurt me. My toes were hurting bad even when put back in the water after she clipped the skin around them. I asked her for a deluxe pedicure with paraffin and after she started another employee comes over and tells me they can't do it today because they haven't turned machine on and don't have time. Which is fine but would have been nice to know before I started so I could have come back a different time. They did apologize but overall dissatisfied. I left with my heels/feet looking exactly the same as when I came in. They barely worked on my heels. Both times it's like the person is being timed to see how fast she can do the pedicure. Done trying here sadly. For 50 plus dollars I expect much more. It's by my house so was really hoping second time would be better. I'll drive further next time to a different place. read more

Walked in, scowled at and I said pedicure please, I was told to sit. The guy that did my pedicure barked at me and was so unkind and unfriendly and really rough and hurried through my pedicure. It was Really a bad experience..... would just a little kindness really hurt? My nails look decent, but I have the sugar scrub still on my legs. I was in and out in 30 mins. Not given options for the type of pedicure.... The other customers there smiled at me, but no one that worked there. The place is beautiful, but sadly I won't be back, the prices are on par with other places, maybe a little higher. read more

I just moved to northern Idaho and was so excited to get my nails done. I went in on my birthday . The second you walk in the door you can feel the negativity. No welcoming hellos or smiles. They just say "sit over there " . The lady who did my nails had no conversation, although I tried multiple times. She was very short and had attitude in the way she was talking to me. Made it a very uncomfortable experience. A couple months later I thought I would give it another chance. I understand that sometimes people have bad days and maybe that's all it was. The second time around was the same vibe (no customer service) but I got a male. He's a bit older. He was WORSE than the first Lady. He kept telling me to relax and I couldn't possibly relax anymore than I already was. He said "don't look at me , look around the salon " Then he kept sighing very loudly and saying " what is wrong with you , why can't you relax" " oh my god *sigh loudly* " . He then spoke in his language and the other employees looked over at me , so it was clear they were taking about me. Extremely humiliating and uncomfortable. I'm a mom of 2 , so going to get my nails done is my time to relax and have some me time. I couldn't wait for the experience to be over. I also left with several cuts all over my fingers (maybe that's why I "couldn't " relax ) . If I can rate this place a -100 I would. I've never been treated so poorly . I'm only giving them one star because I didn't want someone to think I forgot to rate... Absolutely the WORST customer service and pedicure I've ever had! I showed up 10 min early and she points at some waiting chairs and said GO OVER THERE AND WAIT! No nice greeting or smiles... then because the other employees had customers she acted mad because she would have to do it. Finally she got up and filled the foot bath with unbearably hot water and told me to go sit and put my feet in and went to the back. 5 min later she came back and I told her it was way too hot. She acted mad she had to add cold water.... just a very unfriendly atmosphere and didn't even trim my large toenails short enough and I wasn't about to ask her to do anymore... I would give 2 stars for the cleanliness of the location and the wide selection of nail polishes. We had an appointment for four pedicures and when we arrived we sat soaking our feet for 45 minutes until they were prunes before we were serviced. They did a rush job on the pedicures and the nail polish wasn't even applied evenly as shown in the pictures just 2 days after my appointment. We were visiting from out of town and was not impressed by this establishment one bit. Would not reccomend. read more

As a first time customer a few things were disappointing here. Like the tech not giving me an exact time frame of the massage portion of the deluxe pedicure when I specifically asked about it. I then asked if I could pay for 10 additional minutes of massage add on for my aching feet. He said 'we don't do that'. The massage was mainly leg focused and the feet felt ignored. I have regular pedicures every 3-4 weeks so my feet are in good shape. Somehow my cuticles look worse after my 'deluxe' pedicure. I am really disappointed with the Polish as well. It just looks sloppy. I asked for the big toe Polish to be wiped off and reapplied but I was answered with another coat of polish. Although I appreciate not having to wait as a walk in as well as the cleanliness of this facility they lost a potential regular high tipping customer today. read more

I had never been in this place before. It was the most unfriendly establishment ever! The person seemed disgusted that a customer came in the door. Then she probably only spoke 2 words to me. I presented her with a gift certificate that I had received for my birthday and she said it had expired and she would not honor it. However, she already took the money from the person who gave me the gift certificate and then I had to pay so what a scam artist of getting paid twice as much. As soon as I walked in I could feel the negativity! Very disrespectful, rude, and entitled. The younger gal who thinks she's the HBIC of the business- it would be wise on her part to understand, really learn how a true established business owner earns respect of their customers. She did not engage in conversation, no eye contact, did not respond when I asked how much it was just to get my nails painted. The "feminine" dude was just as disrespectful as her. I don't believe I will give this salon my business anymore. I had a scheduled an appointment yesterday first thing in the morning, 10am for a mani pedi. There were other people coming at that same time but the salon wasn't packed... there were technicians that were not working with customers. The gentleman that did my nails seemed very rushed and the results prove that... my cuticles are rough, my nail edges were rough when he was done. The color on my toes is only one coat and already chipping (the next day!) that never happens... the color on my nails is full of air bubbles. Those are things I could have had impact on... I spent $50 on this mani pedi and came away extremely disappointed. Normally, I would return immediate but like most of us... I had full service nail care because I had an event and will be out of town... I have no time to go get them fixed. Very frustrating and disappointing. Will not return. read more

I have been in search of a good nail salon for some time. Without bashing other locations, I can just say that it was getting a bit discouraging. I just walked into this salon this evening and was amazed first by the appearance, so clean and such nice decor and well maintained pedicure chairs. I had to wait almost a half hour but that's to be expected with no appointment and they were very communicative about the wait which I appreciated. I was impressed with how friendly they all were (customers and employees). The pedicure was amazing...hot stone leg massage, paraffin wax and (I think) sugar scrub! Every time I have been here I have had excellent service and amazing quality of nail care! Great prices too. The two times I've been here, I have called ahead and made an appointment because I know they are a great salon with reasonable prices and they can get busy quickly. My first experience was with a friend of mine for both manicures and pedicures. She has problems with in-grown toenails and the tech was able to really help her out. Both of our pedicures felt amazing and looked sooooo amazing after the work was done. We then each got a gel nail set and they turned out amazing. Unrelated, while we were there one of the owners brought in balloons and a big bouquet of roses for his wife's birthday. He pulled the blinds and set it up at her station and it was just the sweetest thing. I just had to share. Important: They are closed Sundays, which one day I was not prepared for this and I had to go across the street to Happy Nails for my pedicure. Afterwards, I had a toe nail infection two days following it that lasted about a week before I could get it under control. That being said, I will 100% wait to make sure I can go to JK nails!! I will probably never go back to Happy Nails. This last time I got a pedicure and full acrylic set done (Classic French). They turned out flawlessly which was perfect because I was getting engagement photos taken and going on vacation. I just wanted that extra bit of pampering and confidence and they were able to give me just that! I love JK Nails. read more

Went to JK Nails to get a fill and pedicure twice. The first time a young girl did my fill. She was very rude. Complained because my hands weren't relaxed. She cut my finger while filing and didn't say sorry. She seemed angry. Not friendly to me at all. Second visit I asked the gentleman doing my pedicure if he or someone else could do my fill beside the young girl who was rude to me the last time and he said yes. A young man came to do my fill. He was not friendly either, didn't talk to me, say hi or anything. He put the fill on my nails and I was sticking my hand in the dryer and I accidentally touched the side. It startled me and I pulled my hand out and touched the side of the dryer. He actually yelled out in a rough voice "Be careful". I was so humiliated! I will not go back there ever again! read more

My mom was in town from San Diego for Mother's Day and treated my sister and I for some pedicures. We came in and was told to seat down. A minute later was told to pick a single color. So we did. A worker lady tells me. That color is to sheer . Okie so I go ahead and went back up to pick another color. As I was picking a different color. An older lady worker was working on a costumer. She proceeds to starts raising her voice to me about putting the colors back in order. Which I didn't know they were in order. Than she gets up from her costumer and takes a minute to literally put a nail polish back in order. Mind you she is now yelling at me in front of all the costumer embarrassing me in front of all the people. She acted like I took a nail polish and walked across the room and put it in a different shelved. I was so mad and so embarrassed I walked backed to my seat and same lady that told me that the color is to sheer. Told me again the color I picked up is sheer again! So out of frustration I told her i guess you work here so you go ahead and pick a color for me so I'm not getting yelled at for not putting it back in order. I will never ever go back or recommend this place . To top it of my mom and I were wearing dresses and the lady who told me that my colors are to sheer told us that here's a towel no one wants to see that. She was acting like I had my legs wide open.
