I'm very disappointed with my experience at Magic Lashes and Beauty today. I went in for my usual lash set, which I've always loved, and paid the standard $125 expecting the same 9D lashes I always get. During the appointment, I was poked in the eye twice, which was already uncomfortable, and once I got up and looked at my lashes, I immediately noticed they looked different. When I asked the lash technician assigned to me, she admitted they did not use the 9D lashes I was charged for because they had run out. This was never communicated to me beforehand. They proceeded with my appointment without informing me or giving me the option to reschedule or choose a different set. I only found out because I noticed the difference and asked. I was leaving for a trip immediately after my appointment and heading straight to the airport. The best they could offer at first was a $20 discount as compensation, which felt inadequate considering I was charged full price for a service and product I did not receive. They then offered to remove the lashes entirely and give me a full refund, but after being there for an hour and a half, I did not want to leave with no lashes at all, especially since none of this was communicated to me until after the service was completed. I asked if I could come back in about two weeks, once I returned from my trip, to be compensated or have the correct lashes applied. I was told they wouldn't be able to do anything after a three-day period, which was very confusing and frustrating given that the issue started with their failure to inform me they were out of the product I usually get. Overall, this experience lacked transparency and professionalism. Charging a client for a specific service, not disclosing that the product is unavailable, and then offering minimal or unrealistic solutions afterward is unacceptable. Unfortunately, this experience has made me rethink returning. read more

Whether it's making an appointment or trying to be creative with my lashes, they have always been super sweet and understanding with wanting to make sure I'm happy. I am also thankful that they're quick yet do an amazing job with my 3D colored "sexy" lashes lasting up to a month. Yoyo did my lashes and she was amazing!!!!! So I always get turned down by lash tech for asking for fuller lashes cause they say I barely have any real lashes, but Yoyo totally slayed with the thickness I asked for. I'm definitely going back cause her service was so damn good. After we were done I realized that the style I asked for didn't really match my vibe and she was super super sweet with helping me fixing it. I prefer the experienced ones to newbies but the one time I was slightly disappointed the staff made sure to correct the issue and didn't make me feel uncomfortable about it. As soon as I walked in very pleasant and the young lady behind the desk and asked can I go to another tech I said oh no thank you I have an appt with Mina. Still didn't say she wasn't there. First time not having a reaction to the glue! I'm so excited. Found a place that offers glue for sensitive eyes that actually WORKS. Thank you, Danni. I don't have any lashes to begin with and she was able to give me some volume. She explained briefly on the differences in length and style but I told her just to make my eyes look big. I got the mink 3D full volume set for $79. It took almost 2 hours total. She took her time and was very gentle. She did forewarn me that because I have thin and short lashes, the extensions might not last. All the girls are very nice. Place is clean. But most importantly, Prices and the quality are right! Call for an appointment. Thank me later. Pros: they all wear masks and hand sanitizers at every station. They also check temps. They offer bottled water to all the guests. They take card, Venmo, zelle or cash. Cons: my appt was at 1:30 but they told me to come back at 1:50. I was ok with that because my gym is down the street. First time having eyelash extensions done as I usually use strip lashes (because I can take them off lol) I made an appointment by phone as they are an "appointment only" business. I received a text the evening prior to confirm my appointment. Upon entering I was given a warm welcome and let them know I had an 11 o clock appointment. I was given a consent form to fill out, read, initial, sign and date. I was then given options as to what kinds of lash extensions they can do, she showed several pictures and even let me feel the lashes lol Since it was my first time, I opted for the Hybrid as it is more natural looking. My lash technician was Katy, she was very soft spoken, gentle and kind. It took about an hour to get a full set of lashes put on. It was a painless process until the very end. Once I opened my eyes to see the final results, my eyes burned and watered like crazy but that was expected (says so in the consent form haha) so I can't complain! (Also the reason I didn't take a picture of myself womp womp). I'm ok with how it turned out but next time will try a different style. Definitely recommend, it was a really relaxing experience and everyone was so knowledgeable and friendly. read more

The girl who worked on my lashes was sniffling the entire time. She rudely place all things right next to my ear and made noises constantly. She over glued the lashes and irritated my eyes. I asked for classic but way too many lashes were placed on my eyelids but she refused to take off because I would ah e to pay for removal and replacement along with the new set!! This review is for Mina !!!! I'm 9 months pregnant so I was nervous about having to lay flat on my back for an hour or more but she was very accommodating! She gave me a slightly reclined bed plus brought me extra pillows to support my back and kept me as comfortable through our whole appointment. Okay so the first time I came, (2 days ago) there was confusion on what I wanted. Miscommunication on both ends but mostly mine. So I ended up getting a 9D look that my cousin got previously but it didn't look good on me like it might on other girls who prefer that look. It was way too thick and dark. I wanted more of a natural, yet still full and shorter length look (3D) like a picture they showed me in the store. I left that day and the same night I texted the store and told them I was i happy with the result and I came back today to get it fixed. They were really kind and professional via text and when I came in today. I told them I wanted the picture that I saw in the store on and online and I wanted my eyelashes to look like that. They gave me the exact technician, Mina, who did the girls eyelashes in the picture that I loved! I thought that was so cool!! but honestly I did not have much hope because I didn't know if they were going to be able to fix it, there was too much going on on my eyes! But after we sat down and discussed wants, and thoroughly went through the plan, I was more relaxed and less nervous. Plus, Mina was very confident and she paid so much attention to detail and I don't understand how she did it, but she did amazing!! I called it magic!! she gave me exactly what I wanted and fixed what I had and I looked almost identical to the picture I went off! Even gave my eyes a cute lift look in the corners that I wanted!! I'm so happy!! I guess that's why they're called MAGIC lashes. I will always come to Mina and to this place. I drive 30 minutes and it's so worth it! Can't be on my back for too long, so they offered me pillows for me and I was able to lay on my side with my head slanted up. I fell asleep for sure. Effie took about an hour and 15 minutes. I had the best experience getting my eyelash extensions done here at Magic lashes & beauty. First off, they have fairly competitive pricing for high quality eyelash extensions. Secondly, their service is top notch. I was able to book my appointment within 24 hours with zero problem, and my technician was easy to communicate with. To decide on what type of extensions I wanted, I was shown a menu of lash styles and gave my own input for the type of look I was going for to come to a decision. My favorite part was that after I had settled into the bed, my technician let me hold up an extension up to my eye so I could actually get an idea of how the lashes would look on my face! As someone who has very short and downwards facing lashes, this was actually super important for me to feel confident I was making the correct choice in length and volume before getting them glued on :) I've had my lashes on for only a day so far but have gotten so many compliments on how they look, and so far only 1 eyelash has shed (from natural eyelash fallout).
