So many compliments from our guests! What a piece of good fortune to find this place. We planned a 50th Anniversary party for my in-laws on Thanksgiving weekend and for many reasons, ended up waiting to the last minute to book a caterer. We had a diverse crew RSVP - all ages, meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans, gluten free etc. Not an easy fix in Southern NH. I basically took a stab at the Google map, but Magic Bites delivered. Amazing party food from beginning to end. Have you ever had fresh pita instead of the stale super market bagged stuff? These pitas arrived warm and soft, one hour out of the oven. Not only was the food fantastic, but Elif and Atilla arrived with clearly printed labels for each dish listing the ingredients and detailed serving instructions. The price was more than reasonable compared to other places we considered. I easily give this establishment my highest recommendation and would not hesitate to book them again. It is a bakery run by a husband and wife, but their core business is catering. I followed recommendation of the lady who is the chef and ordered a variety of pide (kind of Turkish Pizza) and dips and served my class of 50+ people. I received a lot of compliments and many of them asked where I ordered the food from. The service was great, too. Their attention to detail in every stage from order take to delivery is excellent. Also, they were able to accommodate my last minute changes without hesitation. Damn, I have no clue how this place as 5 stars, it's confounding. I stopped by because of the good yelp reviews and was greatly disappointed - maybe it was an off day? My sister and I ended up going to a different coffee shop, and outside - so as not to be rude to the woman working there - I tossed my shitty coffee away almost completely untouched. An absolute waste of money. I went in looking for a snack, maybe lunch, and the place was small, hot, and had an uncomfortable atmosphere. The woman working there was nice, but also a little awkward and not very good at making the small place feel more welcoming. She hardly said any words to my sister and I until we had already been there and were finishing up paying. Not even a hello when we walked through the door. I got a coffee - maybe the Turkish coffee is better, but I'll never return to find out - that was a 'mocha' made with some normal coffee, a bit of milk, and some chocolate sauce squirted into it. My sister and I got Baklava to bring home for later, and upon eating is discovered that it was stale and flavorless. It was also pretty quickly thrown away. I got a fairly decent peanut butter cookie as well, but one good cookie isn't enough to convince me to go back. I really wish I'd had a more pleasant experience, since a lot of images here looked delicious, and I love Turkish/middle eastern food! read more

We worked with Magic Bites to cater our rehearsal dinner and were blown away! We had very high expectations and from the manti to the mezes and borek, the food was absolutely incredible. All of our guests were raving about it and asking where we got it from. We still talk about how delicious it was 4 months later! Elif and Atila are a true pleasure to work with, very professional and communicative, and were flexible to all of our requests and dietary restrictions (they even made something off the menu and helped us set up)! Beautiful, delicious, savory and sweet! The owner is gracious and clearly believes that food is love. An amazing variety of pastries, borekh, spreads and, of course, baklawah, made it very difficult to choose (I especially loved the beet cacik). I left with a bag to take home of all the different dishes I was too full to eat at lunch along with a nutty, fruity, tahini spread rightly named Delightful. Still waiting on my ginger bread men to be made for Christmas

I've lived in Arlington, MA all my life and I always like to try the new places that have popped up over the years. I stopped by this place and am instantly a fan. The woman at the front was very friendly and greeted me the second I walked in. I took my time looking at all they had to offer and when another patron walked in after me and I said please go ahead I can't make of my mind she said 'everything is good here' and she was right. I'm not incredible familiar with the cuisine but I have had it before and am always open to try new things. I picked out a few items and my apologies for not catching their exact name. There was this bread filled bun with a potato mixture inside, a pita filled 'flatbread' with spinach (I think this one is called pide), then I also picked up some baba ganoush, beet salad and after the nice woman offered me a sample of the lentil fingers bought some of that too. Everything was very good but the lentil fingers....by far my favorite. I will definitely be going back to pick up some more soon. For anyone that gave this place a low rating please give it another chance. Even my favorite restaurant can have a bad day. As always never take my word for it and go see for yourself. read more

This shop is an Arlington treasure--the kind of place that makes you really want to support local businesses. The hummus and pita are delicious--well, everything's fresh and delicious. But the service takes things over the top. My story--I was choosing items and started chatting with one of the owners behind the counter. I mentioned how much I hate onions, and my disappointment that I wasn't likely to enjoy their muhammara, though I had heard wonderful things about it. She asked me to wait a moment and dashed behind the counter to the kitchen for a moment, and returned with a smile. "He's making it now--I asked him to stop before he adds the onions!" She portioned out an onion-free container just for me before he finished mixing the batch. And it was SO GOOD. Love this place! read more

I have been ordering/buying from Magic Bites for different occasions for months now. They are just awesome. The first time we have met, i ordered small bites for a school event for 30 people. Everything was very delicious, but more importantly they are super easy to work with. I live nearby and have only been once before when they first opened. I remember the bread /dips being pretty tasty. I love middle eastern food. I stopped by this morning for a 2nd try at 8am for some pita bread and dips. Unfortunately they did not have any pita bread. I thought this was the star of their show? Like McDonalds not having any French fries. The owner manager seemed busy and did not offer me any alternative suggestions - I left disappointed. Maybe I'll try again one day. read more

We got mini cupcakes from Magic Bites Bakery for our wedding and could not have been happier! They were delicious (and were ALL eaten!) They use real ingredients and it makes such a difference. Both the frosting and cake part were amazing. Since we were at the bakery for the tasting and tried some of their dips, we've also fallen in love with their Middle Eastern dips. This place is a wonderful member of the community! Right across from Stop & Shop in Arlington, they offer fresh Turkish pastries, dips and spreads, salads, coffee, and other items. The people who work there are so friendly! The simits are amazing. If you don't know what they are, they're like Turkish bagels covered in sesame seeds. They are soft, slightly chewy, and flavorful. I also tried a pastry, a roll filled with potato, vegetables, and spices. They warmed it up for me and it was very tasty. The spreads and dips are good too. Yes you will pay a bit more for hummus here than at the supermarket across the street, but it's better here. I really liked the muhammara, which is a spread of red peppers with walnuts, olive oil, spices, and other ingredients. read more

I just ate the best Stuffed Grape Leaves ever - the best by a large margin - made by Magic Bites Bakery. Also fabulous is Magic Bites Simit. These are full of flavor and chew. Magic Bites sells these fresh and frozen and freezing doesn't degrade them a bit. You won't find any anywhere nearly as good. Their Russian Potato Salad is scrumptious and beautiful, with beets and peas and dill. It makes a delicious and convenient lunch. We also love their Spanakopita, which I also buy frozen. It makes an easy and very satisfying dinner. I haven't found a better one. Magic Bites is a remarkable resource for 5 star, healthy, delicious food. read more
