She is friendly, professional, and welcoming, and does her best to make the experience actually enjoyable. She always double checks her work and has a fine tuned attention to detail - she often notices small hairs that I would not have noticed myself and goes the extra mile to pluck after waxing. It's clear that Monica has many years of experience as an esthetician because she makes her work look easy and is always on time and efficient. If you go to this location, I highly recommend Monica.

Last time I went, I was told it was my last wax (it was not, I had two more). Today, I was told again it was my last wax (it was not, I have one more). Based on the owner's last response to me, she must be encouraging this behavior. Will be taking my business elsewhere and buying wax passes at locations where the staff don't lie to your face.

This sugaring spot like many I've been to, have no hot towels. You really can't sugar without hot…read moretowels. No matter how talented the technician you will leave sticky. Also there was no pre-care. They do a Brazilian facial, but it's just like a scrub, which you should never do at the same time as a Sugaring or a waxing. Those processes are already physically exfoliating. With no hot towels, there is no way to open up the pores to loosen up the hairs so I had a bunch of breakage. I had regrowth within the week. Sugaring should give you about 2 1/2 weeks hair free. My technician was talented, but she only had a firm paste available to her so it was incredibly painful while she molded the sugar which shouldn't be painful at all. It was like dragging silly putty over my hairs. The walls needed another coat of white paint. You could see faint purple paint behind it. The bed is so rickety and narrow. There's no padding, I could feel the frame under my body. It was like laying on a wooden slab. My butt cheeks hung off of either side of the table. This is definitely not a double bolt treatment table, so all of the weight rests on a single bolt that could break. No windows no Plants. Nothing comforting.

I was also getting a Brazilian here through my pregnancy and Eliza was so gentle with me and really went above and beyond to make me comfortable. When I started having a hard time putting on my shoes she'd be right there to support me and help. The last time I went I couldn't believe how quickly time had passed. It was literally over in 5 minutes. Highly recommend!

Edit 2 - had my nails redone with Angela and they look amazing, she was very precise and very kind, I really appreciate how the salon fixed their mistake and am looking forward to my next visit. I would not recommend this salon for a gel manicure. My nail tech was very nice but very distracted and very rushed. The nails are uneven, cuticles were left sticking out, one nail hasn't fully cured :/ I'm disappointed and I might have to go to my regular salon to get this fixed. I wish I mentioned this before I left but I took a good look only after. Live and learn!

I figured I'd have time for a pedicure and maybe even a manicure too. Knowing how busy Dolphin can get, I booked it there* in the rain around 10AM and they were able to squeeze me in. My feet were in bad shape (I walk 10-15k steps/day, wear heels to the office 4 days a week and hadn't gotten a pedicure since I was in Greece... in early June) and my hands were even worse. Neither were a challenge for Abby! She did an incredible job and was maybe the most gentle nail technician I've ever encountered. I'm truly amazed that she was able to take care of my mangled cuticles and nails without any pain. And they look great. What a gem this place is! I'm going to try and make manicures a regular thing now (mayhe in tandem with my return to Yelp reviews!) No Amex accepted and cash for tips only. *don't be like me and book an appointment instead (they get VERY busy) so you can stay dry.
