This Doctor was the absolute WORST!…read more I brought my 86 year old Mother in, to get some new meds and a physical exam, and each time we went into his office, we had to wait no less than 45 minutes to an hour!! Anytime I would ask him questions about changing medication out for a more natural approach to supplement her heart issues, he looked at me like I didn't know what was speaking about?! I am a homeopathic licensed physician. If it were up to me, I would have taken her off of all of these horrible meds - but, he literally threatened to call APS on me if I did!! Completely stressing my Mother out - I mean, who threatens someone like this?? Meanwhile, the side effects that she was suffering were horrible. I ended up going to a different doctor, because this one was just like a dictator. Doctors like him think they're gods and they're not! He was just horrible and I'm glad we went somewhere else!! It's signed as "Redlands Yucaipa Medical Group" or "RYMG" or something other than his name, so finding it the first time is tricky. There is ample parking in the complex. Office: The medical office is standard office. There are several chairs in a smaller waiting room, but it can become standing room only. There's a TV. Appointment: Expect to wait up to an hour after your scheduled appointment time. This, alone, would prompt me to find a different medical provider, but I think Dr. Osmoni falls behind because he actually listens to patients. I never feel that he's hurrying my description or explanation. He'll have an actual conversation with you about your health. Redlands Yucaipa Medical Group: I haven't had as good experience with other doctors in the RYMG. I think his referrals are to other doctors in that group. I now schedule specialist appointments with people outside of this group because other than Dr. Osmani, I've been disappointed.

Wrote me a handful of prescriptions whether I needed them or not, then advised me to, "stop eating for 30 day periods" to manage post menopausal weight gain. His reasoning was that the human body can survive 30 days without food. Not a single concern about lack of nutrition or the impact starvation has on heart health. He then went on to tell me to never make an appointment or call, text or email the office only. When I did email them asking for a prescription renewal, I was lied to and told they sent it to my pharmacy when they did not. I am not interested in developing an eating disorder nor do I want to load up on pills I don't need, so the search for a PC continues.

His front desk person was very kind and asked how my day was going and was all business regarding my appointment. My nurse who took my vitals was kind, personable and professional, and Dr. Jones greeted me with a handshake while looking me in the eye, asking how I was feeling and doing today. He took the time to ask about my life and whether I was retired or working etc. Dr. Jones was very productive with our time, and he promised me that he and I will travel through my medical care together, and explained what would be expected of me and what he and his office will be doing for me. Although this is my first appointment, I left his office today knowing that I am lucky to have him as my primary care physician. I highly recommend Dr. Jones and his staff. Dan Haskins Yucaipa, CA

When the student PA walked in she introduced herself as her head was turned away from me and she was chewing gum, so I had to ask her to repeat herself which I had to do several times during the visit. Instead of realizing her gum chewing made her impossible to understand, she chewed her gum some more whenever she repeated herself. It is bad enough that she was not taught in school that chewing gum around patients is not professional, but her supervising physician assistant allowed her to walk in to see patients knowing she was chewing gum. She certainly saw her chewing gum when she entered the room I was in. Medical standards are on the decline everywhere. This just accentuates it. BTW, at the beginning of my visit, the medical assistant who took my vitals was wearing street clothes, didn't look like medical staff at all. She did not introduce herself or state her credentials and wasn't friendly. The purpose of this review is not to discourage patients from going to All Valley. I hope that management will improve the professionalism of its staff and any students who rotate there. I'm not hopeful they will even read this review because I see zero management responses to any of the other reviews.
