If it's extremely difficult to get simple questions answered before even getting into their system, I can't imagine what it would be like as an established patient. They are awful. I came in with what I now know was a panic attack but i thought I was having a heart attack. (They were the closest place my boyfriend and I found). I asked them in my state of panic if they could assist with a potential heart attack and they assured me they could help. I was treated on by people who didn't even know where to put the heart monitor stickies on my chest and they couldn't even tell if I was having a heart attack or not much less help me with!! So after 15 minutes with these incompetent fools, wasting my precious LIFE, they then told me I had to go to the emergency room. After charging my credit card $188. The worst experience ever in my life. This doctor is a joke. I wouldn't recommend this medical group or office to anyone that has kids. I have a 3 year old son and I came to the office with an appointment and was turned down three days ago because the provider group was not correct on the insurance card. So I went home. I called the insurance company and changed it to the right one. I went and got him tested for covid since I was turned down and it came back negative. 2 days ago now this is the third day. However, my sons ear ache and nose blockage got worse with a fever. The fever broke yesterday. Today, is the third day and I made an appointment because the fever broke and over the phone they said they would see him. I got there and the nurse asked me if he has had a fever which I said he did but he does not have one anymore which is why I'm here with a negative covid test for him and I and an appointment. She said the doctor is scared that he will catch covid again because he/she already had it so they will not take my son. Are you freaking kidding me! He's 3 a child. A doctor is supposed to help and treat. I needed the doctor to check my son for is ear ache and he turned me away AGAIN!!!!!! My son has a cold with an ear ache! A cold! This is the worst doctor in the world for turning a child away! I don't understand if your a doctor and is scared of covid then why practice!! While the staff was extremely nice, they messed up horribly on my babies visit. Told me my baby wasn't gaining any weight and was still 6LBS 3 oz, and to feed my baby 4oz each feeding. She ended up vomiting a lot, I went the ER. They said my baby weighed 6LBS 15.8 OZ, and that the pediatrician had me over feeding her! I was so anxious thinking something was wrong with my baby, when it was the dr and his staff who MESSED UP and had me stressing over nothing. I'm switching pediatricians. read more

Worst service of my life! This hasn't just been an inconvenience, it's been detrimental to my health! As a long haul trucker it is difficult to find spare time to make a phone call let alone 5 phone calls and even more difficult to navigate a big rig through city streets to find Rite Aid pharmacies. This extremely unprofessional doctors office told me my meds, that I take daily, were refilled to which my Rite Aid pharmacy said they heard nothing of this refill, called this pinnacle office again and said they would put it through, called a 3rd and 4th time and by the 5th time they pretended like they didn't know what the heck I was talking about. No advice was given on how someone in my situation can get their IMPORTANT PILLS, no apology, nothing! This place needs to be sued for malpractice for sure!!! Leaving this doctor asap!!! Run!!!! My appointment was at 9 and it was 11am when I decided to walk out. At 10, I asked how much longer to a receptionist or whatever and she said I was next, seems like that was just a lie. My daughter was getting too upset waiting so I had no other choice but to walk out . It's a waste of time getting everything ready then driving there to be sitting there waiting 2 hours. Went to go see the new doctor today they wouldn't let me in by myself and I had my husband with me they said only one person at a time unless he was a caregiver or an interpreter. I think it's pretty stupid that some people are extreme with the rules and some people aren't. read more

I'm editing this because I've unfortunately been here 3 times since my first review. 1. No Wi-Fi. The staff claims that the routers are in the attic and they can't find the password. I would prefer if they had just told me they don't offer Wi-Fi to guests, but they had to make up an elaborate excuse, so they get no sympathy from me. 2. The doctor has terrible communication with his nurses. Every time I've been there I've gotten at least one confused shrug from the other medical staff and we were all left to decipher what the doctor meant. 3. He's very short with his patients. Not particularly compassionate. Seems disdainful toward women, which I really don't appreciate. I really wish my mom would find a new doctor. This guy gives me a bad feeling. read more

Pinnacle Medical Group - Family Practice Near Me - Yucaipa, California

This is the very worst of all the local medical group. I feel they are actually dangerous to anyone with complicated diagnosis involving multiple issues. I will compliment most of the doctors, however they are not the issue here . It is the management and staff who prevent them from doing their job in an attempt to limit the number of patients which cost them money to service. I went through 3 really good doctors, Dr Danhash, Dr. Lewis, and Dr. Rodriguez who worked with me to come to a diagnosis of Parkinson's, ADHD, and Type 2 Don't with complications from neuropathy associated with Metabic Syndrome caused by severe insulin resistance starting very early in life and resulting in destruction of the dopaminergic neurons in my brain. We arrived at a very concise regimen of medications which work synergistically to let me live an al.ost normal life. That's the background. The spoiled apple in the basket is that those doctors were only allowed to stay in the Yucaipa clinic for periods of 3 months before they were moved to different clinics to prevent long term care patients who cost .kre money for specialists and tests from forming any solid relationship, and no matter how good the doctor is they can only address symptoms in the 12 minutes they are scheduled to see you. The staff in the clinic refuse to set appointments for you and make you call the "appointment hotline" which h in the entire time I have been there have only answered their phone 1 time and that was after an extended hold. I could name names, but I choose not to except for one of the owners, Dr. Charles Sabbah, who completely missed the Parkinson's diagnosis even with tests verifying a dangerously low level of dopamine. He actually ridiculed it and once his Dr.at the clinic, Dr. Danhash, confirmed it through specialists and tests be began to be a stumbling block to any further visits to specialists and moved the doctor to another clinic and would not allow his staff to say where or why. I was personal friends with the doctor by this time and I was able to follow him there. Unfortunately Dr. Danhash, Dr. Lewis and Dr. Rodriguez no longer work there, all having left due to the atmosphere which prevented them from helping people. They are all doing well in other places. I have been able to force them to give me what I need by going to a Jackie Barrios at their management company Epic Management. She has brought them before the board many times and has been responsible for me being able to keep my medications and get specialist visits. I owe my life to her because the malpractice this clinic does with negligence would have resulted in my death several times from their practice of ignoring prescription refill requests from pharmacies. I take several medications that are critical and can't be stopped, yet these people consistently cause gaps in my ability to get them. I am in the process of filing a lawsuit against them. I truly hope this review causes even a single person to look elsewhere, because if you are elderly or dependent on your doctor's for continuity of care, you might as well end your life and get it over with and avoid all the trouble this greedy and unconscientious medical group will cause you. I have been a patient here for a few years and while in the past (prior to their move to the new location) I had my concerns, since then their customer service, appointment availability and wait times have vastly improved! The office is clean, modern and very comfortable to wait in (I LOVE the cushioned lobby chairs!) and the medical staff are very kind, attentive and patient. The absolute best part about this place is Jessica, the N.P. and Trina, at the front desk...she is a doll! Great job guys, keep it up! read more

I would give Dr. Danhash 10 stars if I could. He is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He truly cares about his patients. He takes his time and you can tell he really cares. The office staff on The other hand is a different story. They are rude and slow!!! They are not welcoming at all. I only gave them 2 stars because of the doctor. I have been trying to refill my medication for weeks and they do not relay the messages to him. So now I get to sit here for 3 hours and wait just to get the medication I need. read more

A very unexpected disappointment. I recently moved from Orange County to Yucaipa and wanted to find a local health care provider who accepted Medicare. From beginning to end I faced a bureaucratic nightmare of being pushed for lab and radiology tests to providers I didn't choose, being told it had to be their choice because Pinnacle had to be assured of proper payment. They said some clients in the past were shocked at the bills they received, so Pinnacle wanted to avoid this criticism. I was given a lab order with several tests that made no sense for the reason of the order. The practitioner use the same, general diagnostic code for every single one of these tests. Most of them Medicare did not cover. I had a bill of almost $600 just for the blood work alone. In my life (and I'm not young) never have I experienced such treatment from the administrative side of any medical provider I have ever seen. I have had difficulty in establishing that the practitioner could modify the diagnostic codes to be more specific, such that at least some of them could be covered. I still don't know what the final resolution will be. My providers in the past have always been able to adjust diagnostic codes appropriately. I think the management of Yucaipa Pinnacle needs to be entirely purged, cleaned up and reorganized to better serve its patients. I sadly cannot recommend Pinnacle in Yucaipa to anyone. read more

2 stars because the wait time even with an appointment is at least two hours and usually three hours. I don't go here for urgent care I go for an appointment with my regular doctor, Dr. Danhash who is the best doctor I have ever had. This Dr. cares about his patients and that's the only reason I put up with the insane wait time. I had switched my doctor three times due to being mis diagnosed and Dr D referred me to a specialist that did a biopsy that finally diagnosed my rare auto immune disease, I wish I could keep the Dr but see him somewhere without such crazy wait times. Staff is friendly and inviting most the time. But referrals will take months and I must call and call to ask what's going on, office staff doesn't communicate or get back to you EVER, never have I received a phone call back from the dr or office staff. I don't think dr communicates well with staff either on what should be ordered. Paperwork is not a strong point, you can't expect anything will get done without a few phone calls. Everything with this office takes forever. But everyone is nice when you're there, about the only good thing with this office besides Dr D being amazing. read more

Dr. Danhash is very cordial and thorough, no complaints about him. Wait time in the lobby isn't bad however once you get in an exam room you'll be waiting for hours. Seriously, hours. Maybe try not booking so many patients back to back or have the urgent care in another suite so the Dr can direct his attention to the appointments. read more

I will never ever use them again, I went in complaining of chest congestion and difficulty breathing and they told me it was just anxiety, to go home and relax. Three days later I had to be hospitalized because my pneumonia was so bad my body couldn't get enough oxygen. DO NOT COME HERE!! It is a walk in place so it doesn't matter if you have an appointment you still have to wait first come first serve, I've waited almost 3 hours!! Pinnacle does not know what they are doing. I had a physical and they sent me a bill for 233.00! My insurance told me they put in the wrong codes, they needed to submit it as preventive, and they didn't, I have been calling and calling for months and pinnacle does not correct anything! Not only that , they added a pregnancy test from someone else to my account and billed me for it! And I never had a pregnancy test!...Also, a different time I had a test done and found out I have a growth in my thyroid gland and they sent me a letter saying there was no action needed at this time, really?! I called and they said "oh sorry yes I see here you need additional testing"..had me make another appointment with doctor, who was here in yucaipa, and they didn't even know why I was there!...no communication , horrible service in every possible way, never coming back read more
