Dr. Carter is an exceptional pediatrician. I have known her professionally for many years through our mutual patients and I have tremendous respect for her both personally and professionally. She is bright, compassionate, warm, experienced, and highly engaged with the children and families she serves. As a pediatric speech-language pathologist who has worked in early intervention for many years, I am particularly impressed by Dr. Carter's clinical acumen when it comes to child development. When she refers a child to my practice, she frequently identifies subtle delays and qualitative differences earlier than most healthcare providers. She recognizes that development is more nuanced than whether a child has simply met or missed a milestone, and her referrals consistently reflect that depth of understanding. Dr. Carter is intellectually curious, scientifically minded, and an excellent critical thinker. She considers the evidence, but she is also willing to look beyond the obvious and think creatively when a child's presentation doesn't fit neatly into a box. She is also simply a caring, engaging human being who connects easily with children and families. I have referred many families to her over the years and do so without hesitation. Our community is fortunate to have a pediatrician of her caliber. read more

My Daughter has been seen here since she was months old, and every time we've come in the waiting time in the lobby has been short usually no more than 10 minutes, which i really appreciate, also once we are in the room we don't wait long there either. Every practitioner that my daughter has been seen has always been amazing and always listen to my concerns as a mother. My daughter loves it when Its the end of our visit, simply because she receives a small toy . Thank you G.P team! read more

After years of trying to find a good pediatrician, I am so happy I found this practice. Everyone is so kind and professional. Appointments are easy to get, phones are answered, requests are taken care of quickly. I've seen both NP's and the Dr and they are all great. They are kind and take their time with you. I've never waited more than a few minutes in the waiting room either. They have even allowed me to vaccinate how I want and don't force anything. I'd give 10 Stars if I could! read more

Garden Pediatrics provides excellent doctors and services. This office is extended family for us! Thank you for everything.

Today was a good day. As a parent we tend to worry or stress about our kids well checks and vaccinations but I was put at ease right away. My son also felt very comfortable. The staff is friendly and Dr Carter was too. Dr Carter made me feel very comfortable. The atmosphere of the office was nice. I highly recommend this place read more

Garden Pediatrics - Didn't shed a tear the assistant was quick - Pediatricians Near Me - Redlands, California

I am not impressed with Garden Pediatrics for several reasons. Here are a few: #1 - It seems as though it is ran by individuals with little business experience. #2 - The parking spots closest to the business are reserved for employees (at least that is what it appears to be). #3 - They attempted to tell me that my 11 year old needed to fill out a "teen" survey. Additionally they became upset when I told them that it was read more

My daughter has been going to Garden Pediatrics since she was born, 13 years ago. Every single time we have gone, the staff was very kind, caring, and understanding. I have never felt rushed or dismissed. We now live about 25 minutes away and I still refuse to find a closer doctor because I know the quality care and attention my daughter will receive at this office. I would recommend this office to everyone. read more

In response to the comment on my review from Garden Pediatrics: This review was not intended to inform Garden Pediatrics, its owner, staff or employees of our negative experience with this business, nor was it written as an opportunity for the business to redeem itself through a response. (Y'all were adequately informed on our situation, and chose to ignore it.) It is solely intended to inform the general public of our experience, and to those seeking medical care for their children. It's pretty clear this business has had these type of problems with other families. (As written and described by Josie in response to my review.) Also, My child does not fit the situation you've described. As stated, nothing was done, on your part as a practice, to help my sick child. No one EVER communicated to bring my child in to be seen, no one offered to help by phone, in person or otherwise. To the contrary, it was me, her mother, as well as her father, that reached out to your staff to communicate to Dr. Carter what was going on with our kiddo, you actually were one of the staff members whom we left messages with, Josie. Point blank... As previously reiterated, Your practice failed, on numerous occasions, to provide my child with bare minimum acceptable healthcare. I decided as my child's parent to never trust your establishment with my child's care again and removed us ASAP. Any parent, fitting your definition of an acceptable, or a "disgruntled parent" alike, are entirely entitled and within our right to voice our negative experiences regarding this practice. I appreciate hearing of other less than acceptable experiences thinking our situation was isolated. This echoes the truth about what your patients are actually experiencing. I truly hope, through my review, to help other parents make an informed decision about the future of their children's healthcare. Thank you. I edited my review. No one contacted me in regards to what I wrote. I simply slept on my review of this business, and decided that I didn't want it to represent me (my child especially), or this business as I'm sure this practice has had and continues to have many patients with outstanding experiences. Yes, this practice handled my child's care but very inappropriately. Yes, my child especially and I, lived through the worst time of our lives not knowing what was causing my child's illness, or what to do about it, since we had no answers after seeing the providers here. I openly communicated with this practice all of the issues my child was experiencing. They did nothing to help. No sense of urgency, no advice on what to do. Very poor communication (messages get taken and are relayed back to the providers by their front office staff. I think it is essential to have staff that is trained in being a patient advocate or liaison with exceptional communication skills. On more than several occasions my concerns were not properly communicated to the doctor and I received inaccurate follow up regarding very straightforward matters). We were Just entirely disregarded. We continued seeing this practice only for a few months. At first, I was the trusting parent with very high hopes of finding a great doctor for my children. I held this establishment with the highest regard, and remained fully committed to following their medical advice even after experiencing several hiccups along the way. After months of getting absolutely nowhere, I could no longer continue waiting. My child's condition was worsening. My child was clearly having problems these providers were not trained or experienced in diagnosing or treating. I made one last attempt in a desperate moment to reach out to this practice following some very scary changes in my child's health. They did NOT help us. I made the decision to seek healthcare elsewhere. We went on to find a wonderful provider! With expertise in treating what my child was experiencing. It took one visit, one check up with only physical signs observed to prescribe a medication that would greatly help my child and point us in the right direction in diagnosing a far more serious underlying health condition. My child is now thriving! I wanted to simply share with the general public here on Yelp that we had a less than acceptable patient experience with this establishment. Despite what I've shared, I wish this business well, much continued success, but wanted to share with other parents about how they severely failed my child at a time we needed the most help and support. Thank you. read more

Dr Carter is amazing and I would not go anywhere else. I even moved and still come to Redlands because of the care we get from Dr Carter.

Great office overall. The nurse practitioners are kind and always take the time to answer my questions.

WARNING! This office buys reviews! They incentivize you with a goodie bag of kid stuff for showing them your yelp review! Main doctor couldn't diagnose simple basic pneumonia in my daughter. It cost us over a $1000 in extra testing because she does not know what she is doing! Not to mention all the unnecessary pokes and prodding while sick! Also, doctor tried insulting me, explaining her and her boyfriend had a good laugh at a message I left for her concerning my daughters health (a true HIPAA, privacy law violation!). Pretty murals! Awful doctor! read more

Dr. Carter and her staff provide excellent care. My child has been a patient for over 10 yrs. Highly recommended.

My children have been going to this practice for years and it seems like the last couple of times we have not been able to get accommodations due to being 10 minutes late. We drive from another city. I have left work early, and taken my kids out of school to make it to our appointments and still with heavy traffic we've been 10 minutes late and were declined to be seen. They say they have a grace period, but what they really mean is for you to be there 15 minutes before your schedule appointment. That's no grace period. Very sad they show no compassion for being 10 minutes late, that's not how you value your patience. Not going back and will be changing my children to another pediatrician to avoid the discomfort and no accommodations. read more

Great office and Staff. We had an issue with their late policy; however, it was addressed and the response from the office was well recieved. I have been taking both my children here from birth and the office staff have always treated them as if my children were theirs. We even commute from Hemet because we trust Dr. Carter. read more

So I've been coming here 6 years now. A lot of great doctors and PA's. Great staff on the medical side. My issue with them is the office or billing staff. It's been constant billing insurance problems. I get mistakes happen here and there but for how often this has happened to me makes me wonder if there's shady stuff going on. I get asked every time for my insurance card. They scan it into their system and then down the road I get a bill because they had the visit marked as "self pay" instead of using my insurance. When I call and question them they "dig" and find the problem. Say they put a note in to not cash my check. They cash it anyways. Then I get a call saying "the billing manager didn't see the note and wanted me to apologize we cashed the check already but once insurance approves the claim we'll call you and give you your refund then." Same story every time almost to the wording. We aren't frequent visitors of the doctors unless absolutely necessary. We go for their shots and well visits, an occasional bad cold where they miss multiple days of school so I NEED the drs note. Or if a bone is showing. My husband and I both are/have been in the medical field so we don't go for a minor bump on the head or a cold. So for this to happen multiple times now when we aren't there that often makes you wonder.... read more

To this office: I would not be wasting my time leaving a review if I wasnt a real patient that went there and had already called to try to get a resolution. I wouldn't have minded paying what I needed to pay if something was actually done for my daughter during those visits instead of being sent home every time with no solution. The only reason I even got hospital debt was for having to go there afterwards so I am glad they worked with me. I'm leaving this review to warn other parents. They can argue all they want like they do with any other bad review, but this is my experience here! read more

I've had my share of many pediatricians for my children and none compare with the amazing staff of Garden Pediatrics. I was referred to the office by a babysitter. I was very hesitant because I had been bouncing around from doctor to doctor because of distance. When I contacted the office, I was treated with great service. Once I was able to have my children seen, I was so amazed with the office decor! Every exam room has a unique name and the decor matches. Hand painted to show that Dr. Carter cares about each family. One thing I'm so happy to know is that every doctor is selected carefully to work at Garden Pediatrics. I'm amazed at how extremely nice each doctor, nurse, and office staff is. As far as appointments go, I have never had a problem getting my children an appointment. In fact, depending on the health issue, they go out of their way to fit my children in the same day to avoid urgent care or emergency room visits. Nurse practitioner Hiday was the one to figure out my youngest one has a milk allergy. I've felt more like family than a patient number, charted in a file, tucked along with all the other patients and family members. To sum it all up, I do everything I can to make sure my insurance will cover the visits to garden pediatrics. I can only hope that I will be able to keep my family at Garden Pediatrics until they grow into adults. Thank you Dr. Carter and staff for all the hard work you do! read more

I have entrusted Dr. Carter and her team of professionals with my children for over 6 years now. Anytime my boys need to be seen they made it simple and a priority to get us in a timely manner . They have gone above and beyond to make their office welcoming and friendly for Children. Each room has a different theme from farms to ocean to jungle to Arctic they have the rooms painted and the examination tables match each room. They are clean and keep my kids captivated while we patiently wait for the dr to come in . (Which usually isn't very long ) they always run on schedule and I have never had to wait very long which lets me know they appreciate my time. Anytime my child has been sick they have explained to me in depth the reason, the solution and the process of getting them better. I can tell they truly care and focus on helping my children to grow strong . Any questions I ask they answer (by the book) Which lets me know they have high standards for their establishment and that eases my mind because I have high standards for the care of my children. I hope I never have to move because it doesn't get any better than this . read more

Prehistoric room, Arctic room, and so on. The wait time is good and the doctors and MAs are very polite and attentive. Garden Pediatrics is an excellent choice for parents looking for healthcare options for their children. It's a warm, inviting pediatric office that's well decorated and very clean. Great Drs and great staff. Have been bringing my children to Dr Carter for the past seven years. Nothing but great experiences. To anyone having issues with wait times, they are generally pretty good about time. However, any time I have questions or concerns they won't hesitate to take extra time with me and make sure i leave feeling heard and reassured. So knowing they take the time with me I'm sure they do it with all patients and that can affect time but well worth it. I drive two hours to be seen by them and I wouldn't have it any other way. read more

Dr Carter has been a great doctor with personal experience always willing to listen. She is great with kids.

I normally don't review doctor's office but I felt compelled. I've been taken my boys here for about 2 years. It seems like a revolving door of providers. Finally felt like we had some consistency with Dr. Diatte. We have also enjoyed seeing Courtney from time to time as well. My boys absolutely loved them and so did my wife I. They are thorough and take time to listen our concerns. Just excellent providers. Then came the news that Dr. Diatte left the practice and Courtney was on maternity leave. So for the last few weeks we saw Dr Forghani. Well let me just say we never saw her. This doctor has cancelled three times so far. Dr. Carter schedule is always busy so it's hard to get into her schedule . I get doctors are human and have to call off but when it happens more then three times it shows a lack of professionalism. We truly miss Dr Diatte and hope that we can find a long term pediatrician. Hopefully there will be more consistency with providers here. read more

Dr. Carter has been amazing for our family. One of our kids has had a rough couple of years and Dr. Carter has consistently listened and worked to help us get things figured out.
