    Delicious

Mae's is an absolute fantastic place to get a breakfast on a Sunday morning! The Erin (owner) was running the floor today by herself and was absolutely killing it. There was a little wait in food but it's so WORTH IT. The Maple-Mosa is a MUST! Their were to die for and real local VT maple syrup that can't be beat. They up charge for fake syrup which they absolutely should! I can't say enough about my favorite restaurant and would highly recommend this spot to everyone. That women is an absolute super hero

We always have breakfast at Mae's when we visit Brandon. The restaurant is nicely decorated in a soothing blue. There are plenty of traditional breakfast options. Fun Benny varieties. Syrup for pancakes is served in cute little animal pourers! Service has always been great! They have a penny press machine for a Brandon Souvenir Penny. Plus they carry some literature like a fun map of the area for visitors to take and use.

Food was delicious but served cold. Waitress may have been the only one for a full house. Place was busy.

Just regular breakfast grub- eggs, pancakes, home fries. But they have a selection of Eggs Benedict dishes that come with home fries too. The pancakes were superb. A bit pricey, but you should get at least one. There are specials and granola. Clean and spacious. Not busy this Friday in mid August at 9:30 am. Coffee ok. Service is good, but may be a bit stiff.

Great cozy and local community business, ai love finding breakfast and brunch spots like this on my travels! Scored a 4-egg omelette with steak and a side of bacon. They nailed it!

    Beautiful Brandon, Vermont

I was up in Brandon, Vermont recently. A small, beautiful town with rivers and Green Mountains. It is here you will find a breakfast, lunch and dinner spot named, Mae's Place.

We came for breakfast before a day of hiking while on vacation. Breakfast was phenomenal. The corned beef hash was the best we've had whether in Philly, NY or anywhere else. The Irish eggs Benedict and chocolate chip pancakes were pretty awesome too. The coffee was hot and the juice was fresh. We felt bad that the place seemed understaffed and business was steady, but that seems to be common during these times. We still got quick, friendly service. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

The only reason I didn't give a 5 is because the potatoes weren't cooked thoroughly. However, I had a great steak and eggs brunch, and you won't ever hear me complain about $2 mimosas! I love the fact that it's downtown, and within walking distance of other shops and the waterfall. I would highly recommend this place for a Sunday Brunch.

I've lived in town for over 12 years now. When ever you want to get a good meal at a reasonable price Mae's is the place to go.

When we have more time we will be back. We were quickly acknowledged and answered any questions we had. We ordered 2 drinks teas both were delicious, can't remember them right now. As our drinks were being created I was checking out their huge selection of bag teas, I had Lapsang Souchong tea on my shopping list for making seitan, I was shocked to find it in our lil small town and so happy! The Gentleman that waited on us knew all about its smokey flavor! I'm impressed! Looking forward to using it this week! The shop is nicely set up and has room for expansion. Has a seating area that is nicely spaced out. Very clean shop items, teas have their own areas. Looking forward to visiting with some friends soon!

From the moment we walked in, the café felt warm, welcoming, and perfectly in tune with the charm of Woodstock. Mon Vert has a cozy, laid-back café vibe that makes you want to linger. It's bright, comfortable, and relaxed ...ideal for a casual lunch, coffee date, or just enjoying good food at an unhurried pace. The atmosphere feels very community-oriented and inviting. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Staff were patient, helpful with menu questions, and made sure everything came out just right. As first-time visitors, we felt genuinely welcomed. For our meal, we each chose something different and both dishes were excellent. My wife ordered the Yankee Quesadilla ($15.00), which came with roasted chicken breast on a whole-wheat tortilla, pico de gallo, Cabot cheddar cheese, and a side of sour cream. She added avocado (+$2), which was a great choice, it added extra creaminess and flavor. The quesadilla was hearty, well-balanced, and satisfying without being heavy. I went with The Coffeehouse Brisket ($15.00), featuring their own coffee-marinated local brisket with pickled red onions, basil aioli, Swiss cheese, shredded carrots, and arugula on a baguette. This sandwich was outstanding, the brisket was tender and flavorful, with the coffee marinade adding depth without overpowering the dish. The pickled onions and basil aioli tied everything together beautifully. I also added a side of Homefries ($6), which were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and well-seasoned, an excellent complement to the sandwich. Mon Vert Cafe delivered on all fronts: great food, friendly service, and a cozy ambiance that fits perfectly in Woodstock. For a first visit, we were thoroughly impressed and will absolutely be back to explore more of the menu. A must-stop if you're in the area.
