This place is a fairly standard: decent prices, good portions, average food. I'd advise going for the combos - you can pick from bread or rice, and in the basic combo yet get two curries, some pickles, raita and some soup thing (that no one in my group bothered to eat). The vegetable mix is pretty good, and the butter chicken was actually surprisingly tasty and tender without being too sweet. Everyone else in my group seemed pretty happy with their meals, and we intend on coming back sometime.
This is a short hike from the King/ Collins crossroads, making it a pretty good lunch spot. There's plenty of room to sit down and the drinks fridge comes with your usually coke brand suspects, along with a few slightly fancier soft drinks (Bundaberg ginger beer, etc). read more
