For a place called the taproom I was a little disappointed that it was mostly IPAs. There were a couple of others like a stout, and I believe a white or a dark ale but for anyone who likes lagers like myself, you are SOL. I understand that IPAs are all the rage with the millennials and the 30 somethings but please get a little more variety, especially if you call yourself a brewery.

They also have a nice bakery and meat section. I have been here times when the store was dirty. Floors needed sweeping and mopping. Long lines, making me feel like I'd never come in here again. Then, this week, I stopped in for a few things, and it was completely different. The shelves were stocked, floors were clean, short lines, a truly nice shopping experience. I said to myself, "This place must be under new management." I will have to come a few more times to up the rating because I don't know if I just caught them on a good day. The pictures I posted are from the good day. Please keep it up, Fresh Grocer, I might become a steady customer.

The outdoor dining area, suitable and open during warmer weather, has ample seating. The menu features primarily Italian and Italian-inspired dishes. I really enjoyed my selections--the roasted cauliflower and small pizza (both pictured). The toasted cauliflower was tasty, and the small pizza was definitely sufficient for 2 people. I tried to refrain from the eating the whole thing in one sitting, but I failed in that regard. It was so good. The burger tasted kind of plain even though the description sounded great, the meat itself tasted really charred, as if it was cooked on a dirty grill which didn't taste good. My wife had the three cheese grilled cheese which was great for such a simple sandwich. The staff was pleasant enough and service didn't take long. May or may not try again, but if we do it certainly won't be for the burger. 2 beers and 2 meals only costed $44.95 after tax so it was worth it for a fairly cheap night out.

We went with the 20-piece Southern Country Garlic Wings and the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. Overall, the flavor did not disappoint! The wings were incredibly delicious, packed with garlicky Southern flavor and served jumbo style, which was a nice touch. However, I do wish we had asked for them fried hard. The texture would've been much better that way. One small downside was the fatty bits left on the wings before frying, which made them a tad bit annoying to eat. At $26.99 for 20 wings, they were definitely on the pricey side. The Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls had a great crunch, but they were extremely small. Flavor-wise, they were decent, though I've had better. At $13.99, I expected a little more in size and portion. Despite a few minor critiques, we enjoyed our meal and appreciated the no fuss dinner option. Would I come back? Possibly, but next time I'm asking for those wings fried extra hard! Rating: 3.5
