I travel…read morea lot, both for work and pleasure, and don't have family in the area so it's very important to me that I have a reliable, responsible, and trustworthy facility to take care of my dogs. Mary Kay has always been wonderful. She takes a personal and vested interest in the wellbeing of my babies and communicates frequently. This last 4th of July I was going to be out of town and leaving my dogs for the first time. They are terrified of fireworks and I too was terrified to leave them. I mentioned to Mary Kay that I was nervous and she immediately responded with a long, detailed and empathetic email addressing all of the ways they handled the dogs on the fourth to make sure they were comfortable, including having loud fans and putting on talk radio for the dogs. I greatly appreciated her long and thoughtful response and the actions they took to make the dogs comfortable. All of the other staff at this location have always been friendly, attentive and responsible. I have left my dogs here for weeks at a time and they are always happy and healthy when I pick them up. My dogs are also jumpers and diggers and the staff pays special attention to these concerns and put them in the jump proof play yard. The facility is wonderful, the staff is great, their prices are fair and I wouldn't board anywhere else. I've tried other boarding facilities in the past throughout the county and none come close to Rocky Canyon

My younger dog came home from Rocky Canyon with kennel cough and then gave it to my senior dog, who nearly died from it. When I called the kennel to say that she had kennel cough, I thought the owners would be concerned and surprised. Instead, I was told that, yes, they had been hearing that from a few owners who'd boarded their dogs there recently. What?! Shouldn't we have at the very least been notified? I know that infectious diseases are a risk of group boarding, but I was so surprised by the kennel's blasé attitude. It cost me at least a thousand in emergency pet bills and, thankfully, didn't result in the loss of my senior dog. We have not returned.

I told the vet, if u think she can't I don't mind keeping inside house , no contact with other voiding (Parvo).My baby was taken to back 4 vaccination.. That night she was a bit lethargic. Come Monday she just didn't look right.. By Tuesday she just fall over i immediately called Las Tables they had me bring her in right away & I rushed to get her there and on the way she took her last breath Of course last tables took NO fault for this.... Nor was i offered reimbursement for anything, On top of it they had me pay for her cremation. They did offer me an autopsy no doubt I'd have to pay for that, and was an autopsy going to bring my baby back NOPE! NEW PUPPY OWNERS BEWARE PLZ!

When Brent found Tala, she was in a heartbreaking situation--essentially feral and abandoned by the side of a highway, just days away from being euthanized. Thanks to Brent's dedication and expertise, she not only got a second chance at life, but she became the most well-behaved and gentle dog we've ever met. Tala is a Husky-Samoyed mix, and from the moment we brought her home, it was clear she had been given an amazing foundation. She walks like a dream--both on and off leash--has zero reactivity, and greets every person and animal she encounters with calm friendliness. She's completely potty and crate trained, follows commands effortlessly, and doesn't jump or vocalize unnecessarily. She's also wonderfully affectionate and incredibly food motivated, which makes bonding with her a joy. What amazes us most is how Brent managed to shape her behavior so thoughtfully without dulling her spirit. Tala still has all the bright, clever, loving traits that make her such a unique and special companion. She's seamlessly become part of our family, and we truly can't imagine life without her. He was not my dog originally and I was having a hard time managing him. It was so hard to leave him but, such a good decision. It made a huge difference in my relationship with him. I received daily pictures and a video of his training. He was responsive when I texted for updates. After three weeks, I picked him up. Brent showed me how to work with him.
