    Strawberry Rhubarb Moscow

Finding delicious yet affordable wings can be a challenge, but look no further than Happy Hour at Madison's! Their dry-rubbed wings with the scorching-sweet maple Sriracha sauce hit the spot every time. Happy Hour runs Tuesday through Friday from 4 PM-6 PM, so it's the perfect time to indulge. And for a refreshing beverage, I highly recommend trying their Strawberry Rhubarb Moscow Mule. Made with house-infused strawberry rhubarb vodka, lime, simple syrup, and ginger beer, it's the perfect complement to those mouthwatering wings. I tried the Crispy Chicken Sliders paired with loaded tots. The sliders were bursting with juicy flavor, while the loaded tots were a delightful combination of green onion, cheese, bacon bits, and sour cream.

Madison's was an amazing place to eat for brunch. The atmosphere is immediately welcoming with soft music and friendly staff. The environment is designed in a more modern style with older architecture with the restaurant being inside an old building right by the state capitol. The food service did take a bit longer than most but that is because everything is custom-made to you when you order and so nothing is pre-made before it is eaten. The food quality was top tier and mouth-watering. I highly recommend this place if you are stopping by the state capitol and want to spend some time to relax and eat delicious food!

A solid place for drinks. It's pretty old school industrial feels in there. Exposed brick walls, a center circular bar, surrounded by booths. There was trivia on the Thursday night that we went. We got fried cauliflower and the slider trio and their house seasonal cocktails. Nothing was crazy mind blowing, but the food was good. The cocktails were yummy (if not a lil expensive). Finding the door to enter this place was difficult AF. Just fyi. If you get lost you are not alone. Entrance is by the ice cream shop next door.

I don't think you can go wrong with cheese curds in Wisconsin. The cheese curds and biscuit and gravy were definitely my favorite. The sunny side up eggs on top of the biscuits were a nice touch and helped breaking up the texture. A lot of the people got also got the $16 dollar mimosas which is a price that's hard to beat. I can see why this is a go to place for my friends while visiting Madison.

Big windows provide ample lighting for brunch and a cool scenery at night. Service was great, our server kept our drinks and water full. My tacos were absolutely amazing. They have a spicy sauce and a spicier sauce Fully recommend!

Went here for a Sunday lunch in the Winter but my GF & I live in the Milwaukee area so we are not locals & definitely won't be on the top of my list if I come back to Madison. So I will be a one-and-done here. Food was good-great, interior was very nice, menu selection is below average. I think this is the type of place where the menu is designed for college students, but is too expensive & nice interior for normal college students. It is a "drink" Brunch menu more than a food Brunch menu. Went with the Pork Hash & while the food was great, it wasn't that hefty amount of food. However, it was much more than the Classic Breakfast or anything else I saw walk past me. The inside of the place is very nice. Great amount of TVs for Saturday & Sunday brunch to catch a football or basketball game, but nothing to ride home about from the menu. Food was far from average, but usually I leave a place saying "If I ever came back I would get ***this***" but not here. Honestly for their brunch, there were only two things that looked worth it: Huevos Rancheros & the Pork Hash. Then I realized the Huevos Rancheros came with no meat inside. I think the place is a 3.5 star place, which is what it is at right now. Definitely wouldn't come here during Brunch, boring menu. They probably get most of their Sunday business because Marigold's is slammed & both Old Fashioned & Tipsy Cow are closed. Two places I wanted to go to were closed & next one had a 30min wait.

Went to Madison's once for a happy hour date on a Friday. I enjoyed the ambient music that was played in the venue along with the multiple TV screens displaying different sports. The venue was packed when I visited, but I was still able to get seating in 15 minutes. I balled out on the happy hour menu to try a lot of their snacks. The fried chicken sliders were juicy and crispy, but overall nothing too special compared to other ones I've had. Their loaded tater tots were very filling and tasty. I liked how the tots were crispy and fluffy on the inside, but the loaded cheese was too much for me to handle (I know we're in Wisconsin but I had to tap out!). I was VERY IMPRESSED with the chicken wings they had. The dry rubbed ones were so juicy and tasty and crisp. The seasoning was perfect. I will definitely be going back for some happy hour cocktails and for the wings. Madison's keep killing it at your wing game!

We stopped in here after dinner for a couple cocktails with friends and had the best time! Love their historic building that boasted a modern chill vibe. The music was great and the craft cocktails were awesome - including the price for downtown! They also had a great selection of liquor including house-made infused vodkas and more. I haven't been to Madison's since before the ice cream place opened where their dance floor used to be, and I have to say I love it even more now than before! The bartenders/waitstaff were so friendly and funny, very personable. We were told they had a great brunch menu so we will definitely be coming back for that! One of my new favorite places :)

I've been to Madison's on numerous occasions and it is always a good time- morning or night. On this occasion, we came for brunch and had the bottomless mimosas. The staff is friendly and quick. The place itself it pretty large and there are lots of spaces to sit. To note, bathrooms are down a flight of stairs. Madison's is located in a nice area with lots of other restaurants and bars around. Lots of TV's, booths, tables, and bar seats. Brunch was good- I got the biscuits and gravy- will definitely come again. No parking lot, but lots of on street meters and parking garages in the area.

Madison's has one of best happy hours in town. Special S/O to their Taco Tuesdays and spicy margs. On regular happy hour days, I recommend any of the cocktails on the HH menu, and the dry rub wings. One of the best things about going to Madison's is the service (S/O Madison). I also love going for Packer brunch.

Alas, we have so few, and I'm so excited this concept opened! I came on a fall/winter evening, but definitely would love to come back in sunny outdoor weather. On the top floor of the Moxy hotel, Atico serves up a really lovely array of Mexican and Mexican-themed foods. They've got some really elevated entree options, but also have a host of street tacos. While their menu is a bit pricey (some were actually outrageous), the happy hour specials they had listed on the table were a great deal -- definitely would love to come back here for happy hour. I ordered 2 al pastor street tacos and a carne asada street taco. They're nicely sized and are decently full with meat. Onion and cilantro tops them off just like a street taco should be. I thought they were pretty tasty. I didn't love that the pineapple in the al pastor was chopped on top and was served cold (the pineapple, not the meat), but I still ate every ounce of both my tacos, so take my complaint with a grain of salt. My margarita was also good, I appreciated that they were willing to make it "up" instead of "on the rocks." Our server was very accommodating and able to answer questions. Overall, I don't know that the food is worth the price, but it would definitely be worth it on a rare occasion to enjoy the rooftop ambiance. The happy hour also solves for this conundrum. So, I'd certainly like to be back to Atico.

The place had a cozy, lounge-like vibe and was pretty busy, but the staff was friendly and helpful. It's first come first served for seating, just like any bar. We sampled a few whiskeys and also tried their premade espresso martini. The whiskey selection was phenomenal, the espresso martini was decent, not the best I've had (it was premade), but still enjoyable (it's made with Tito's, which isn't my favorite base, but I appreciate the fresh coffee beans they used). Depending on your age and what you are looking for this might not be the spot for you. The bar is jam packed, seats are typically all taken. I am 19 years old, and my husband is over 21. As soon as we presented our passports, the security guard at the door refused us entry and would not even look at our marriage certificate, which showed that my husband would be responsible for me here in the U.S. In addition to that, he was extremely rude and disrespectful. He raised his voice at both of us while forcing us away from the entrance, used his body to block us (even though we were not trying to force our way in--we only wanted him to review our documents), pointed aggressively at a sign stating that alcohol consumption under 21 is prohibited, and told us to "get out." The issue is that I am visibly pregnant--38 weeks--and I do not consume alcohol. We were only there to celebrate a friend's birthday. Shortly after, our friend tried to speak with him and explain the situation, but once again he showed complete indifference, simply stating that he was "doing his job." My husband and I would not have had an issue if the bar had a strict policy of not allowing me to enter, even accompanied by my husband. However, the level of rudeness and lack of professionalism we experienced was completely unacceptable. He did not seem qualified to be in a security position, as he refused to review documentation and treated people in a disrespectful manner, regardless of whether they were customers or potential patrons. After reading other reviews, I noticed that poor service appears to be a common issue at this establishment, which is disappointing, as the venue itself seems comfortable and appealing. However, after today's experience, I have no interest in trying to visit again or recommending it to friends. I hope you take this feedback seriously and consider hiring staff who know how to perform their roles with professionalism and respect. Situations like this are embarrassing and ultimately damage the reputation of your business.

I got their chilaquiles and gluten free lemon poppyseed pancakes (they had GF toast but their only savory option was this or a coconut thing). The entree was delicious, not too spicy unless you bite into too many jalapeños, and the shredded chicken was great. Could have used a second egg but I'm a big boy so maybe it's just me. I was also surprised by how much I liked the pancakes. It was a gamble as I don't like things too lemony and while you could definitely taste the lemon, it was still very good. And the pancakes, for being gluten free, were fluffy and soft and great. Had a regular coffee and while it was strong, it was just coffee. It gets very busy at peak meal times to plan accordingly.
