I came here on a Sunday just looking to have a drink, but it ended up staying all night. A new thing they have on Sunday's is dueling pianos. It was great to hear all sort of songs in piano form, but I feel to get the most of dueling piano, you need to be rowdy and drunk. As a working man, I couldn't fully partake. Nearly all of the tables were full so we moseyed up to the bar. I think sitting at the bar is better anyways because the bartender/ waiter is always near. After quickly being served out first Shiner Bocks we perused the menus. An immediate recommendation from my friend were the bacon wrapped shrimp with jalapeno. The Delicious concoction takes delicious shrimp, removes the veins them, shoves some jalapenos inside then wraps it all up with bacon and covers it in cheese. for one, it could be a meal, for two it is a great and big appetizer. Since I ate earlier in the day I planned on ordering something light and taking the rest home. I first attempted to one of the "new" fish dishes, but apparently the menus are "old" and they no longer serve fish dish A. I was equally delighted to order the second fish dish which was tilapia with harvest rice and two sides. When the dish came out, i said to myself "wow, i am going to be taking a lot home." However, hat was not the case. Although the tilapia fillet was enormous it was perfectly cooked, tasted amazing and I ate it all!!! Food has been great lunch and dinner 100%. However, my complaint is the horrific 'new' nighttime DJ on the patio. I've been trying to give him the benefit of the doubt for MONTHS. Any legit DJ knows better than to play more throwback early 00's than current rap/hip hop or even pop... And his use of country music interludes is even worse. This guy.. He's wearing an Angry Bird's shirt every time. I'd be embarrassed to bring one of my out-of-town friends here when this guy is DJing. I'd like to start by appologizing for being so negative towards whatever DJ was present and working at the time. Instead of deleting my review, I'd like to change it positively. Every DJ is obviously entitled to their own opinion, and although mine may not have agreed with his on that specific evening, I'd like to think that DJ's are artists at their very core and that this specific human had a different viewpoint or genre in mind that evening. **Based on a one time visit The BEST burgers in town. All their burgers come on sour-dough bread and it's simply AMAZING. They also have live entertainment sometimes, a balcony and a big screen TV in the restaurant. Our waitress was a sweet-heart and made our visit worth driving across town! read more

Kid-friendly brunch. There were many kids and they are able to play in the separate billiards area or on the stage out of the way of other diners. My 1yo daughter loves the carrot soufflé and mac n' cheese. Food came out really slow every time I've been here, so it's good they have room for kids to stretch in the meantime. In the future I will stick to the brunch menu. The people in our party were really happy with the steak benedict. I ordered a gyro and it was more like a gyro meat fajita. It came in a tortilla with grilled onions and peppers and no tzatziki. It wasn't necessarily bad but it certainly what I consider a gyro. The food is amazing and there is always great music at Madison's. The live bands are always a trip, including EFT on Tuesday's. Their website could use some help. There's still code visible on the main page. The facebook page is great. Madison's/Goodfella's are always keeping us informed about what going on, weeks in advance. Back to the food. The entrees and always put together and cared for no matter how busy the staff gets. The chicken is juicy, the greens are always moist and the atmostphere is unlike anywhere else in beaumont. The joint is clean and you can see that when you first walk in the door as you're greeted by the helpful Madisonians. I'm ready to see what the new addition (the office) has to bring, because the patio is second to none. The summers are great out there. There's plenty of fan power during the summer shows and the bartenders back there, and in the front of house seem to know every guest names. They make you feel welcome even if you're just passing through. And if you are just passing through, be sure it's around Halloween because MOD throws the best bash every year. This place isn't full of frat guys nor does it have a playplace for kids. Its a respectable buisness that serves those who are respectful to the business. This is hands down the best bar in Beaumont, Texas. My friends and I had the pleasure of witnessing one of the more amusing live bands I've ever seen called 'Floppy Taco'. Before you get excited know that they are beyond foul mouthed, and undoubtedly pride themselves in super offensive humor... which isn't for everyone... certainly WAS for me. I believe I had beer making it's way through my nasal passage on more than one occasion that night and loved every minute of it. The crowd was awesome as well, it was a great night of drinking Lone Star beer, meeting new people, playing bean bag toss and ping pong in the back, and laughing a hell of a lot at a great band. Sunday brunch: been here a few times for it overall it's very good the eggs Benedict with crab is by far my favorite, big lump crab meat and their home fried potatoes are great. The steak and egg combo could be better, the sirloin they have is a good cut but they seasoned it with what tastes like some McCormick generic steak seasoning which really takes away from the flavor of the meat...it'd be good by itself. We were very unsure of what we wanted for dinner and we saw this cool place. We came in and immediately sat down. It probably gets busier in the evening when the bands are there but the food was pretty good. I had the Californian Burger and my step dad got the crawfish that came by the pound. I don't like them but he said they were the best and that they were perfectly spiced. Their Cajun fries were good, maybe a little more seasoning, but overall good. The service was awesome!! Went for breakfast today, third time. This time its the third strike. The menu refers to brunch. It's not, it's breakfast. Repeated poor service. Ordered an omelet, was nothing like the menu described. Very greasy. Requested sour dough toast. They don't offer sourdough bread. News flash, sourdough isn't just for San Francisco restaurants any more. Coffee served is always lukewarm. Part of the fun is looking for your server and the entire bunch of servers huddled in the corner by the kitchen door. I think the most disturbing thing today was seeing into the kitchen. Seated at the bar you could see too much. The kitchen lights being flashed on and off repeatedly, with the staff playing grab-ass. We could see a worker making hamburger patties, he was high-fiving others. I guess cross contamination in food prep isn't a concern. (Hint: If you order a burger, you might want to make sure its well-done.). Clearly not much management here. The food was horrible,the spinach dip was bland and tastless and had a nasty after taste. One of the lousiest places in town. Food is decent but the management is horrendous and not close to customer friendly. Family member once rented the private room and the experience was horrible. I have always loved Madison's since it opened. However, I just wanted to let you know my grandma wanted you to know she was in Madison's this week to eat for what I believe was her first time. She went on and on about how good the food was, which I already know is one of the best in Beaumont. However, she insisted I let you know she was extramly impressed with the wait staff she had as well. She has not been able to eat out lately because my grandpa has been diagnosed with late onset Alzheimers and recently was placed in an assisted living facility. I just wanted you to know how much she enjoyed her experience. Also, she NEVER EVER speaks of a restaurant where she experienced not only great food but great service as well. I'm changing some old opinions about Madisons. I think I might really be starting to like it here. The waitstaff and bartenders have always been great, but the thing that always pissed me off was the cover. Well, guess what? There hasn't been a cover in forever, except on holiday theme nights, which is understandable. The management has catered personally to some of our drink tastes, specifically getting some strongbow cider at our request. The games out back on the patio are unmatched, including ping-pong, ring on a string, cornhole, etc. I now recommend this bar for a good time in Beaumont. Took a couple years and some magic to get me to this point, but lets all go to Madison's! read more

I've been a regular patron of Madisons since they opened. Always great food, great service, fantastic ambience and a cordial welcoming feeling from the staff. They have the BEST Burgers in town. My family and friends enjoy frequenting a restaurant where the patrons are decent people out with their family and friends. When I take my children to lunch or dinner, I expect that the diners there will be respectable and of like nature to us. No trash customers at Madisons, no bikers, no roughnecks, A real nice place for families and friends. Great food, exceptional staff, fantastic atmosphere, and we always feel welcomed. This place can't be beat for the class they offer their customers at fair market prices in Beaumont. Very reasonable, a great experience, and excellent food. Madison's is a great place for lunch during the week and for drinks on the weekends. They back patio is really nice and always packed on evenings when the weather is decent...typically 10 days out of the year in Beaumont. The beer selection is decent, the waiters and bartenders are always friendly and fast, and the live music line-up is awesome. Currently celebrating their 7th anniversary, this establishment will be around for a long time.
