Boudin balls and a side of ranch

My first time here and I loved it great little ambiance.a couple if pool tables to pass the time while you wait on your order.cold beer and I highly recommend the Boudain balls.the service is great and even with a room full of people it wasn't but a 9 min wait from when we placed our order in to the time it reached us. Overall a fun experience.go see Mel at the bar!

There are only male bartenders and I love it!!! Best atmosphere, set-up, and continuous crowd that I've ever seen!

Nice small dive with just enough room for pool or ping pong. Can easily sit and chat with folks or enjoy a beer in solitude if so desired

Atmosphere is dark and dank, even at lunch. Seems old and run down, just like Catfish Kitchen! Food was just so-so. Would not go back.

Then BB got long winded and the crowd started chattering. That's when they started really playing music, about 3 hours after we got there! So after 4 hours in a hard metal chair and moving my legs out of the aisle every 3 minutes, I'd had enough. BB is an amazing legend, and can still play the guitar. However, Nutty Jerrys is NOT the venue I would have liked to see him at. Plus I did not appreciate my purse being searched as we entered, asked for my ticket when I walked to the bathroom and back (without exiting the event center), and had to throw away my water that I just opened upon leaving. Ridiculous treatment of guests. Shop lights over the Beer Garden refreshment area added to the lack of comfort as they shined in my eyes the entire time. Pathetic. BB deserves better. I would have loved to see him at a legit center like the Julie Rogers theater or Lutcher. Did I mention the plastic Sam's Club tables? Oh that's classy. This place is a joke. I will never be back, and I live in the area.

Everything said in previous reviews is true - concert area looks like a high school gymnasium with…read morebench seating for general admission.; Sams Club folding chairs and card tables for the up charge of assigned seating. Terrible service and long lines to get a beer. I was waiting to write this and base it on a second experience, since my first one is so negative - but - it seems N Jerry's is now out of the indoor concert business. This from the Beaumont Enterprise June 8 2014 : "We had a small concert venue here and we tried that for two-and-a-half or three years and Beaumont is just not a concert market," owner Jerry Nelson said. "We don't have enough people to justify the big acts. Those are in Houston. People drive there to see them. I tried Journey and Allen Jackson at Ford Park, and you can't sell enough tickets to make it work." So instead, he shifted his efforts to a different market. Jerry replied on his FB page June 21 2014: "All concert and events will be held in our outdoor arena in the future." So Elise's it'll be.

When I entered I saw that their tables were set up with red & white table coverings ready for the lunch crowd. I was greeted immediately with smiling faces and I even received a hug from Ms. Chelle. On Wednesday's Courville offers a hot meal and a cold one called Love Lunches. The name definitely fits because you get a taste of TLC in each bite. You are welcome to come in and eat inside or take it with you. I ordered for hubby and myself, two Cobb salads to go. These salads really hit the spot during these hot summer months. The first thing that caught my eye was the beauty of the presentation. It was lovely to look at and even better to eat. This salad radiates with the vibrancy of spring, with an array of beautiful, bright colors. This dish of deliciousness starts with a mountain of fresh spring mix lettuce, followed by plump grape tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, egg, avocado, bacon bits, shredded cheese, purple onions, with slices of the best and well seasoned chicken breast resting on top. Each bite provided a forkful of comfort and flavor. It's a show of veggies brimming with freshness and flavor. You will eat it for the taste and love it for the nutrition. . Check out Courville's Love Lunches every Wednesday from 11:00-2:00. You can check out their menu on their FB page or on Best Bites. Tell them Best Bitea sent you. # supporting locals #BestBites
