We ordered their nachos from a groupon and 2 drinks. It's pretty good. They have an interesting QR code concept where you can place your drink and food order by yourself without a server. This is very helpful during busy times. The interior of the restaurant is not air condition. Therefore, it can get very hot in the summer months. Their patio is decent but there is not shade which can get uncomfortable. Overall, good food. I would come back again.

Oh my word. Best poke I had in a long time. Pricy but worth it. Best thing all week and v satisfied. I got the full size and it was big. Would recommend if you're a hungry gal/guy. . Also got the Big Mac nachos. I tried a bite and they were good but I was too satisfied with my poke to care. . Ahi Tuna (20$) All Madison's poke bowls include crushed peanuts, kale, cucumber, carrots, edamame, radish, wakame seaweed salad, nori flakes and house-made crispy onions. Allergens: Not including extras, Nuts ( peanuts) Soy, Fish, Mustard highly recommend adding pineapple and cilantro. Key. And ginger . "Like A Mac" Nachos (18.75$) Ground beef, American Cheddar, iceberg lettuce, "Like A Mac" sauce, onions, dill pickles, sesame seeds, corn chips. This time it felt more worth it and I'd pay these prices for these items. They also have happy hour worth checking out!

It was packed but wait time was only 10 minutes for a nice outdoor patio spot in the cool May breeze under the sun. Very cool vibes here from the staff and unique global fare that is a simple choice between craft nachos, tacos, and poke or salad bowls. It unfortunately took about 15 minutes to even get a drink order in as it seemed no one was really assigned to our table, but once our order was in the drinks and food quality were solid. The vegan Mac & Cheese was voted our table favorite, while the chicken tacos came in second with its light ingredients and bright refreshing dressing, and the perogi nachos were also great. Would come back for the cool outdoor spot and for snacking with friends. Free two hour street parking just west around the corner.

Two colleagues raved about this place & so I went here instead of Hayden block! Big mistake on my part! The nachos are really nothing to write home about!

We just wanted a fun place to have lunch and the Madison's is perfect! We ordered the butter chicken and mushroom truffle salad. The salad was extremely delicious and balanced. The nachos were also very savoury and extremely filling. It would've been a bit better if there were slightly more toppings. But overall, a fantastic place!

Sunday brunch one of my favourite things but I won't likely be back here for brunch. Took almost an hour to get a single mimosa. First the order was lost so the server had to ask us again what flavour we wanted. When ordering a coffee we had to ask for cream and sugar and the server said she would be back with a spoon that never showed up. Additionally serving our coffee in to go cups after we ordered food to stay. Seemed very odd as we were the only table with paper cups.... food would have been good is it wasn't cold. All 3 of our meals were served cold. I had chicken and waffles cold chicken had no warmth to them it was like eating sandwich cold cuts. Tried the potato's from a friends plate and it was severely disappointed with the lack of seasoning and again cold meal. I would stick to nacho in the day time it might be a better option and skip the brunch 1.50 mimosas.

Now I've been here several times and I can safely say it's one of my favourite places in the Inglewood area, especially for their craft nachos. During the summer time, their patio is the perfect place to be for some good ol' fashioned people watching, drinks and some causal bites. Their menu focuses on their nachos and poke bowls, but I tend to gravitate towards their nachos. If you want a bit of both, their poke nachos are phenomenal and is usually my go-to. I love my poke so I usually get extra. All their nachos are served on a cafeteria-style tray and I'd say that they're a good size for one person if you're hungry, but can easily be shared if you're just looking for a few bites. However I do recommend that each person gets a different tray so that you can try a little bit of everything. My personal favs are the poke nachos and the 'like a Mac' nachos (they taste just like a big Mac, but better). I'm also a big fan of the Thai shrimp bites and the cauliflower bites (with the sweet chili sauce). If you are feeling something sweet, they have nachos for that too! Just beware, while they are delicious, the strawberry shortbread nachos can be pretty rich and heavy. I also have enjoyed the s'mores nachos with friends before so there's another alternative. Their drink menu is also quite diverse and extensive. They have a special section dedicated for all you G+T lovers, plenty of local drafts, cocktails (I love their sangria) as well as various Fratello coffee and matcha drinks. I always had amazing service and once had the hostess go above and beyond to ensure my party would be seated on a busy night.

I used Skip The Dishes, so I can't speak to what the restaurant itself is like but Holy Cow! The Lobster Nachos were MIND-BLOWING! The flavors were outstanding and even being delivered, they were warm and crisp! This is definitely a must have!!!! Can't wait to try again!

Aloha Modern Kitchen - A Taste of the Islands Right Here in Calgary!…read more I've been meaning to check out Aloha Modern Kitchen for quite some time, and I finally had the chance to visit this past Sunday evening. Let me just say--it was well worth the wait! We ordered the Maui Ribs, Loco Moco, Charred Broccolini, and a few cocktails to round out the evening. As someone who's had my fair share of Loco Moco in Hawaii (it's my go-to breakfast item whenever I visit the islands), I was extremely excited to try it here in Calgary. To my amazement, Aloha's version did not disappoint--the Loco Moco and Maui Ribs were absolutely incredible! Packed with flavor, perfectly juicy, and cooked to perfection. I couldn't stop raving about it, and my guest was equally impressed. If you're looking for an authentic taste of the islands without hopping on a plane, I highly recommend dining at Aloha Modern Kitchen. It's a little slice of Hawaii right in the city.

The owner says he prides himself after training under the chef of Tin Roof Maui. I've been to Tin…read moreRoof Maui many times over the years. So here we go: We came for Lunch at The Aloha Modern Kitchen for all the raving reviews on line. Aloha Modern Kitchen food has a different flavour in food by far, not in a bad way at all it's not what we are use to in Hawaii. I know we are land locked as well as we can't get most of the Hawaiian spices as well as Aloha Soy. I wanted to so try the poke, but we have been spoiled with fresh fish in Hawaii. I didn't want to be let down with not fresh or frozen fish. Instead ordered appetizer of one Spam Musubi and the main was Mochiko Chicken plate lunch comes with 2 scoops rice and a small spoon of Mac salad and a Mochiko Chicken sandwich with fresh cut fries. Let's start with the Musubi with spam. Was very sweet and didn't taste anything like in Hawaii. Understand Aloha soy is not available in Canada, still tasted good was over priced for the small size at $6.00 for one cut at an angle. The two cheapest ingredients rice sprinkled with Nori and spam put together with soy and dried seaweed. It was small compared to what we get in Hawaii. Now the plate lunch, the Mochiko chicken was crispy and tender with just enough spice, rice beautifully cooked Hawaiian Mac Salad no flavour.$18.00 Mochiko Chicken sandwich was nicely presented with home cut fries chicken crispy and tenter very flavourful $21.00 Ordered one drink Lava Flow over priced for a martini glass that it came in at $15.00. Where we are use to a good size glass again in Hawaii. (I know I say this a lot) I'm not complaining by any means we are so use to the food in Hawaii and to try Hawaiian food in Canada just isn't the same. Still it's a nice treat!! I gave this place 5 star because it made it with ingredients they were able to get and worked with what they were given to give a close taste of Hawaiian food. All in all the food tasted good. -The service was wonderful -inside very clean and had the Hawaiian vibe -washroom very clean with a Hawaiian vibe. -parking is pay parking very limited first hour free. Will at some point go here for dinner.

I made a reservation (admittedly same day in the morning) and arrived to a packed right up to the…read moredoor waiting "area" with no way to make anyone aware we were there as there was barely space to breathe, and had anyone wanted to leave we would all have had to go back outside to allow it (to give you an idea of how small the space was). After about 10 minutes we were close enough to see a server and say a reservation name, she asked for a moment, and walked off, fair, then came back and asked the party one before us who were seated nearby to get up and move elsewhere, which i have literally never seen anyone do and was frankly shocked that they would do that, nevermind in front of us. Unfortunatly this set the tone for the entire visit. A server did come over fairly quickly and ask if we had drink orders, but two of our party are not from Canada so were restricted to WiFi, of which there isnt a public password available anywhere and the menus are QR based, which i do appreciate given the changing menu, however there should be at least one hard copy available for situations exactly like this. After this we waited around for a wifi password which allowed one more of our party to connect, but the last member was still unable to throughout the entire visit, for no obvious reason. Around 40 minutes into our visit we were finally blessed with another visit from a server (they dont have set tables and only the first introduced herself so i dont have names) she was INCREDIBLY rude when taking our drink order and seemed generally inconvinienced by our presence, she also asked for a flavour choice on a drink (from our non menu bearing member) and she had missed that there was a choice, and therefore said she wasnt sure sorry, the server made zero effort to list the options (i have seen servers list less options from more packed menus) and again was incredibly rude about it. After this interaction she also made us aware that the second table for two our party of four was using, "needed to be kept empty" and directed us to share one single table for two, and i mean a table for two here, between us four. Two in the booth seating side (which blocked anyone getting to said empty table) and two on two chairs, which even when shoved right up against the edge of the next raised seatinf area, did not fit side by side at the table leaving one party member half between the empty table and the parties table. It should be noted this extra table remained completely empty throughout our visit, and no reason was stated (if it was to be clear to get large drink presentations to tables/reserved/they just wanted to see if they could). The menu does state that drinks may take a while to arrive, however, we ordered one of the "specialty" drinks, 3 regular menu drinks and four shots, and i feel an hour and a half into our visit we should have at least seen the shots. BUT those came last. The non alcoholic mojito (lime flavour) tasted like concentrated lime juice, no sign of the mint the menu also states it has, the non alcoholic butterbeer, was 90% ice and tasted like watered down whatever they were aiming for, deff nothing special and not anything id have said was butterbeer based on the thousand recipies out there, what I ve made myself, and what ive had at any other HP themed places. Pistachio bourbon wasnt mixed or given anyway to mix, so it was a layer of syrup in the bottom of the glass and then the bourbon so didnt really give the desired effect. Honestly extremely dissapointing given the prices. In the hour and a half we were waiting for our drink order, nobody had checked if we wanted to order food, infact it was difficult to even get a server unless we were willing to walk over to the other end of the crowded bar to where there were servers chatting with each other. We chose to use this as a sign to NOT order food and go elsewhere. Once we asked for our bill, the server suddenly became very chatty, and friendly, honestly it was like a full personality transplant occured, wonder why! They were out of paper to print a reciept and showed it to us at a distance on the tablet they have, unable to clearly see a total i have no idea if we were subject to the 20% gratuity mentioned, nor do we have a copy for ourselves, the menu does mention this applies to parties of 6, however reviews imply its added regardless. So overall we spent almost 2 hours, spent over $110 for subpar drinks and horrific service. The place itself looks vaguely harry potter, but like, harry potter walked into a christmas tree and lost the fight. It was hard to see the main draw of the bar (the theme) through ALL the christmas decor, lights and neon wall lighting, which was dissapointing. I had been waiting for a long time to come here specifically with my HP loving family, and this was very much not it. The huge tv playing christmas movies directly in my face on the wall deff didnt help the ambiance, and the cold draft every time the door opened, and servers

Each piece of cured meat was sliced impossibly thin, the olives were meaty and delicious, and the cheeses were carefully selected to complement everything.
