horrible service. I used to live on millplain and they used to be my go to nail salon but my last two visits there have completely changed my mind about them and I will not be returning ever again. I usually get an acrylic gel full set and this time I went in I told her just a plain black acrylic gel set, my technician completely rushed, my nails were not even in length, she didn't listen to me about the length of them (I like them longer) and she just cut them basically to a random length without even asking me.. then she grabs a non gel polish (which I didn't notice until I left) and gave me just regular polish and then still had the audacity to charge me $55 (plus tip which hell no I didn't tip her) for a completely normal, no add on, no gel, no extra length, which should be $35 (says their sign even) and any other nail salon so I don't know why they always try and be sneaky and charge you extras that I didn't ask for and sure as hell never received at the end of the service but I will never be returning and when friends, family, clients ever ask me if I know of a good nail place (I will say yes and NOT recommend here) and let them know of my horrible experience at Madison nails. Oh and it's been about 5 days and I already had 2 nails break completely off so I don't know what cheap acrylic they're using but it sucks along with their services here. read more

But having my nails done here and they are super clean I got the gel polish with french tip design. I was just a walk-in as my nail lady of many years moved away. I told them I just wanted an acrylic fill with plain old polish. They said it'd be about 15 minutes. I waited for 30 minutes, but it was really busy and I didn't mind the wait. Once one of the ladies got started, she was quick. Maybe too quick as the machine she used to trim back my nails got very hot and uncomfortable. Once she was done she got out the solar gel to fill my nails even though I repeatedly said acrylic works better on my nails. Thankfully, I was paying attention and corrected her but she still tried to upsell me to the solar gel. I typically just get regular nail polish and top coat, but she put on the gelish without asking me first. I was tired and just wanted to get out of there at that point, so I just let it go. My total here came to $30. Not including the tip! It was only $16 for an acrylic fill at my former place. Maybe that's the going rate for fills these days but I will not be going here again. While the outcome was good, the experience was awful. For the price I paid, I expect a more comfortable experience with a relaxing environment. read more

I used to be a regular customer. Great pricing, lovely nail techs, all around great experiences. This time I came in for a mani-pedi and the woman who was doing my nails wanted to start with the manicure, which made no sense. When I asked about it, she just tried to sell me on a gel manicure and pedicure instead of regular polish so we wouldn't have to deal with the dry time. I declined and said we'd just skip the pedicure if she didn't want to start there. She immediately backtracked and got me into a pedicure chair and what followed was a really sub-par experience. Cold water, totally ignoring me, paying more attention to her coworkers than the cuticle nippers she was weilding. Overall terrible experience, never coming back. read more

Went in 8 days ago for shellac. It looked pretty good, but noticed she didn't paint that many coats as I have had in previous shellac experiences. Well, my nails starting peeling after 6 days. My usual shellac nails last 14 days + with no chipping. I always have to peel it off myself. Wasn't impressed. read more

Have been going here for years and I have to say that the place is amazing. The service from the staff is really well and their work is extremely good. I am always happy with my results because it's is always amazing. With their reasonable prices and super nice workers, I'd say this is the ideal nail salon. If you want to go to a nail salon be sure to hit up Madison Nails because it's as good as it gets. P.s- Be sure to hit up Christina. She is a really efficient and hardworking person. I am very dissatisfied with my experience here. I got my nails done last week and they all ALREADY came off. After A WEEK. I highly DO NOT recommend going here. I called to try to see if they'd re do them or at least give me my money back and they were very short with me and very very rude. She basically told me they were too busy and couldn't make time for me. If you mess up you should definitely be more adamant about fixing the problem and satisfying your customers. Worst mani/pedi I think I've ever gotten. I usually don't write reviews but i don't want this to happen to someone else. I'm so upset. First I got talked into gel because it lasts longer which was okay if it would have looked nice but she hardly cut/filed the nails at all or trimmed the cuticles, some were crooked and most sharp on the edges, they are painful. She didnt even ask if they were okay until after she painted them and when I commented that they were still too long she said she couldn't cut more because of skin, really my dog could have done a better job. I had to come home and file them more and I'll probably have to go get them redone. A couple of my fingernails have little hairs stuck in them and the top coat of gel is so thin you can see the brush lines. It was expensive and a waste of money. I'll never go back there again. If I could give no stars or negative stars I would. read more

Lindsay did my nails and I will say she did an awful job. It seemed as if it was her first time doing a acrylics. The manager was supposed to "fix" my nails but only made her redo them. Completely unsatisfied... Got a shellac manicure on Saturday, by Sunday it was chipping off at the tips, totally not normal for gel manicures. Called Monday was told they would take care of me any day that worked best for me (my husband was having a surgery on Monday so I knew I couldn't make it in). Called today, Tuesday, to get in and they fit me in and completely redid my shellac manicure free of charge. I really appreciated this level of service. Love this place! Katie is awesome and I've had a great experience with Vivian as well. They are VERY busy so there is often a wait, even with an appointment but it is worth it. Price is mid-range. $25 for shellac mani is what I always do. I suggest making an appointment (I am not a fan of the guy that I sometimes get when I forget to make my appointment with Katie). Went in for a pedicure (No apt needed) she did such a GREAT job. I did the deluxe... WORTH IT. I will definitely return. Made me feel very welcomed the nail tech talked to me throughout my experience there, she was very personable. Watch what they charge you or they will OVERCHARGE! I was happy to find this place because they have done a great job on my nails the first three visits, but the "deluxe" pedicure was pretty disappointing and the water was hardly warm from the start. I thought maybe it was a consequence of being one of the last clients of the evening, so I brushed it off assuming it was due to the closing time. Today I decided to treat my boyfriend and myself to a couple of "deluxe" pedicures, and I really hoped that his first time would be an enjoyable treat for both of us. When I went to go pay (in cash with $100 bill) she tells me it's $80 dollars and hands me back a $20, so I asked for smaller bills for the tip, she then hands me two ten dollars bills... so I had to ask again for it to be broken into smaller bills, which seemed like quite a challenge without enough bills in the drawer... if you're desiring people to pay in cash, it should not be hard to break a $20 dollar bill! Then once my boyfriend came out of the bathroom and we left, he asked me how much the total was, and it wasn't until THEN that I realized the pedicure was supposed to be $35 each. This really pissed me off because they had overcharged my friend for the same amount on our first visit with those mediocre pedicures I brushed off. I plan to return in a few days for a scheduled fill and shellac polish.... I plan to bring this up and I hope they make it right, or I will be updating this review with more bad feedback. read more

I have been going to this place for awhile and I have tried giving them a chance try after try. When I went there on June 1st to get my set filled there was white spacing in between my real nails and the acrylic nails they immediately ripped off the acrylics and told me a I had an allergic reaction.. which is not true. I have gotten my nails done for years. After doing some research and talking with a doctor is is called Onycholysis which is caused by the preparation of the nail tech. After ripping my nails off they cut my natural nails down to nothing and very sloppy painted my nails with regular polish. My real nails are so damaged and have separation of the real nail on almost every finger. This has never happened in my life! I was so mortified and wanted to cry as is was my birthday weekend and I had a huge group with me and they made a huge deal like it was my fault. Let me tell you another issue i had with them.. One of their nail techs cut the side of my toe a couple of months before with a cuticle clipper, once it started to bleed my foot was dunked in the dirty pedicure water resulting in an infection that i had to see a Dr for and get antibiotics. Long story short this place looks nice but is NOT clean and it really worries me. I will not be coming back here. Such a terrible experience. I would hate for anyone else to experience what I had to go through. read more

The technician cut the skin on my finger, then glued the cut. It might have been okay, except she cut into more skin when she cut out the glue. Don't you think if you leave the salon looking worse than you came in, the service should be free? The only thing I got was "it'll be okay", not really, I had a job interview the next day. read more
