While shopping, I had over 8 articles of clothing in my arms and one of the sales associate decided to followed me around as if I was going to shop lift. I decided to ignore the fact that I was being watched and continued to shop. I decided to try on the clothing so went to the fitting room and was finally greeted by a sweet sales associate, I needed a different size and went to ask for her assistance, however, I realized she was then switched with the associate that was following me around so I decided to not ask her for help. While making my way to the register, another customer walked in (much lighter complexion than mine) picked up one shirt and had a sales associate come running out of nowhere to greet her and offer to start a fitting room for her! It's 2018 and yet sales associates still feel they have the right to discriminate against people based on their race/appearance. It's absolutely disgusting and shouldn't be tolerated. That's a bit inconvenient in the case that they run out of sizes because you're left with a item that doesn't fit- big or small.
