There's a hotel here? Really? Why would you want to stay in the middle of an industrial area like this? I suppose if you were working there, but that's about it.
I've nothing against the football stadium (apart from them not selling black coffee, meaning you had to have white milk powder in it if you wanted one), it's actually quite compact and you can get a good atmosphere at times - especially when they give away pizzas at half time; that was good.
If you're there for a game then bear in mind that there are no pubs close to the ground and for the matches I've been to there they can suspend the sale of alcohol to away fans too. It's very close to the M4 junction, but if you park near the ground you will get jammed in after the game.
It only holds 23,000, although they have plans to extend it to 36,000 - I've no idea where the extra cars are going to go.
The bus drivers are friendly though. One just stopped on the way to the ground picking up everyone on the way and dropping us right outside the ground. The more alert amongst you may point out that that is what busses are for, but this one was on his way back to the depot and just decided to do it without charging.
