I am incredulous that a 400 room Sheraton Hotel has no mail slot, or offer to help with sending…read moremail. I am an elderly man who walks with a cane, yet the hotel staff directed me to mail box over a half mile walk away in the dark. This is not the experience I would ever expect from a large chain, or a large respectable hotel. We have traveled to Bonvoy hotels this year to Amsterdam, Rome ,Porto, and Paris, and all of those hotels had mail slots for their mail. This might sound petty, but for someone who loves to write letters when I travel , this is completely inexcusable . How hard would it be????? I had to take a scary half mile walk in the dark to mail my letters, this is not acceptable from a large Sheraton Hotel !!! Shame on this hotel , get with the program and eight a mail slot!!!!!!!!!!!!

The facility was well maintained and I appreciate the security guard being onsite in the lobby in the evening; I felt safe. Additionally, I was a bit surprised that they were overbooked when I arrived and I had to wait for about 30 minutes for a room; thought that was strange considering I'd booked my room about one month in advance. Nevertheless, I passed time by purchasing snacks from the store. And I thought it was impressive how the hotel is in connection with a shuttle that takes you to the airport free of charge and with excellent services. Thank you again!

We loved the lobby air with all the games available to play and seating to chat at. It really helped our group as we were two families spread out in 3 rooms. Just a heads up - there aren't mini fridges in room! Oops! We are used to that and I forgot to double check that little bit of info. The breakfast in the morning was well worth it especially if you book it with the room rate. We were almost able to skip a meal besides snacking due to the options available then. There are a couple nearby spots to grab a quick meal are few snacks/drinks, which is always an added bonus when traveling. Thank you Moxy for the wonderful customer service and comfy stay!

Overall, we had a solid stay there. The room was the sofa and king-sized bed was lovely. We had plenty of space for our luggage. The closet space was good. The bathroom had enough space to move about and go between the sinks and shower, which had ample water pressure. The one drawback was the lack of outlets by the night tables as well as usb outlets. You had to leverage the one spot on the desk that had them. Also the lamps were not the easiest to use and gave my wife some frustration. The concierge was decent outside of not being the helpful regarding gluten-free options that were available. We figured it out but that was a bit of a challenge. The restaurants in the hotel were decent although the 1970s sports bar theme that looked straight out of Smokey and the Bandit was cringe. The food was ok. I preferred the breakfast spot that has plump sausages as that was good. We were able to take advantage of the Club Lounge while we were there. While the accommodations between the comfortable seating and buffet style options were nice (paneer, beef casserole, nachos), I found the staff hovered a bit too much around the room, so it was a little challenging to relax as much as we would prefer. Still, it is a solid stay if you need something that is close to the airport for the night.

Staff left out water for us throughout the weekend which was nice and cold and kept everyone hydrated. Bathrooms were always clean and never shy of any toilet paper which was nice as the event was fairly large and people were in and out of the bathroom all day. I did use the elevator to get something from my friend's room as she was staying at the hotel. The elevator won't work without a keycard. That's important as it's a safety precaution. The hotel is also centrally located and near the bus stop. Not a bad choice !

I had access to a room and the amenities from 10am-6:00pm. The room was lovely. The first thing I did was shower and took a nap. I was so tired from a 12 hour flight. The bed was very comfortable. Then I went down to the restaurant on the premises and I ordered dinner: fish and chips lol. Food was good and so was the drink. I went back to the room and gathered my belongings and called my taxi to take me to my London Airbnb. If you have never used a day pass, please do especially after long flights or layovers. It's a game changer. The Marriott usually has day passes and their hotels are top notch.

I drove but found the hotel was on the other side of the road but no way to get to it apart from driving past and doubling back. What I should have done was follow sign for Hotel (stay in left lane) taking to to another round round which takes you to the right side! Hotel has 30 complimentary parking spaces and as we arrived at 5pm on a Friday it was half empty thankfully! Check in: two members of staff were dealing with lady wanting to move room, I was not acknowledged for 5 mins even as I stood in front of reception. Guy did turn and mumbled something that may resembled what do you want? I said can I check in? He started to check in but passed it to the other girl who was the proper receptionist (not sure if guy was the manager). She was more professional! Though I think the last person probably got them irate, trying to sort out her demands! I gave my Accor number and she upgraded me to a river view room and gave us two free drinks vouchers as meant to be one! Nice! Room was fine, big bed, bit dark looking and I couldn't get the heating to warm the room. I was worried it was ground floor but it was fine, not noisy at all. Breakfast: we paid £10 each on checkin rather than £15 on the morning so best to always ask the costs! It was nice and hot though my bf didn't like the cooked breakfast as much as I did. It was noisy as there was a group of people in there that obviously knew each other and would talk across the room at each other. It was so much better when they all left to go to legoland .. Yeah I could hear everything! Thankfully we were going to Thorpe park so my headache subsided when they left. There were other families in the room but they chatted with no loud voices! Hotel is only 10 min from Thorpe park so it is great location and in walking distance to shops and restaurants in Staines!

He acted like we were bothering him with his piss port attitude. My wife Asked for waters and he slammed one water on the bar. I had to asked for another water. I can tell you we won't be staying here again and I suggest management reevaluating the unfriendly staff they have hired at this location to serve their guests. The location couldn't possibly be more convenient. It is literally attached to the airport. Honestly it was a little hard for me to find because after you get off the Elizabeth line there's not really any clear signage for the tunnel that takes you to the hotel. I had to stumble around the airport asking people where it was before I found it. The lobby is huge and really makes a great first impression. My room was spacious and I loved how they catered to international travelers by having four different types of plugs, including a US one, on the desk. This was the only place where I saw that. This hotel really seemed nice and modern, except for the thermostat. It was a horrible analog dial with no numbers on it whatsoever. That was really my only complaint and it was very minor. Just because the hotel is attached to the airport you should really leave for your flight way ahead of time. It takes at least 10 minutes to walk down the tunnel and then you have to get to the Elizabeth line, wait for that to arrive, and then ride quite a while to get to some of the other terminals. When I come back to the UK I will absolutely stay here again.

I typically find that this Hilton is more reasonably priced than the DoubleTree at T2/3, and I like this hotel better.
