The hotel has reasonable rates and is in close proximity to the airport. I was very impressed overall with the hotels amenities. My room was modern and comfortable. I had club lounge access and The hostess in the lounge was excellent. I had a breakfast and dinner meals at the restaurant which was very good. I will certainly stay here in the future.

This hotel is about a 10 minute ride from the airport. They offer free breakfast and provided me free wifi during my stay. The hotel is a bit dated but it looks like they are remodeling as time progresses. My room was nicely updated. No issues during my stay and once again quite pricey (gov rate) for the convenience of being close to the airport. The rooms are comfortable and if you need to stay nearby the Heathrow airport give this place a try.

We paid for a room here so we could get the parking for the week. Driving up the hotel looks a little dated. Inside they have done a nice job though. Check in was easy. Room was nice and clean. And surprisingly the noise was low from the airplanes. We enjoyed the club lounge - which is actually on the first floor by the restaurant. Everyone was nice. Food was good. Hopped the Hoppa bus the next day and went to the airport. Returned a week later to get our car and go. I'd definitely do it again!

It ain't bad! Those who frequent typical Sheratons may find this one a little disappointing. I'll just do an outline of pros and cons: + Found a £49.50 rate (US$86 total including taxes) on the hotel website. + Within the free fare bus zone (take Route 75/76 from the Central Bus Station at Heathrow; why pay £4 for the stupid Hoppa bus, besides the short walk required?) + Rooms recently updated and of a decent size for European standards. + Very friendly staff + 3-prong and 2-prong Euro plugs at the desk + Dollar/Thrifty Rent a Car on site. + Gas Station/Convenience Store and McD's with 24hr drive thru right across the street. + Good Chinese restaurant a 5 minute walk down the road (London Hong Kong, Bath Road at Hatch Lane). - No free Internet (for in-room wifi: £7.50 for1 hr, £15 for 1 day, up to £70 for 7 days). - Friendly staff works a tad slow, may be due to the crappy reception area. - Non-smoking rooms share hallways as smoking rooms. What's the point? - Only two stories... I like being up high. - Parking is expensive as hell (good thing I didn't drive!) - Automatic minibar, which means you can't use the fridge for your own purposes. Other notes: - Where's the flat-screen that was supposed to be in my renovated room? Overall if I had to stay near LHR, I would stay here again.

Nothing spectacular about this property. It's an older property and it shows. The staff really makes this place great though. The main lobby area and bar area are very nice. The hotel is currently remodeling the SPG Members floor. I think once all of the remodeling is done this place will be nice. Rooms are basic. Beds aren't that comforts be to me and the room stayed very warm despite window being open in late Nov. bathrooms are tight and show age. Food in the bar is good with a nice varied selection. They also have a nice selection of beers and wines. If you only have a night or two to spend in the area this place isn't bad. The bus from airport is 5 BSP from driver and 4.50 from hotel. Taxi is a flat 15 Euro. The bus is easy but if you have a group a taxi or Uber might be best.

Tip: Don't take the hotel hopper downstairs. Thrift has a courtesy shuttle service to this location. You do need a reservation however!

The hotel is located about 10 minutes from the airport which makes it an ideal location to use if your in a similar situation. The hotel is clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly I found. The room was good size with seperate toilet and bathroom, coffee available and comfortable bed. The shower was large and powerful and just what you need to wake you up before a flight. I opted to have dinner here as well and the food was quite good. I had fish and chips, sweet potato soup and ice cream to finish. The soup came out after the main which was a bit weird but oh well right. The soup was average while the fish and chips were very good. Representing the way the british serve them. The ice cream for dessert was so basic anyone could have served it. Was straight from the packet without much effort. The breakfast buffet was large and offered a grest array of hot foods, pastries, fruits, cereals among other things. Plenty of selection and you definitely wouldn't leave asking for more food. While I certainly thought it was an OK hotel, I have to admit I wasn't particularly impressed with it. Nothing was exactly wrong with the hotel - it was clean, well maintained. The rooms and beds were as comfortable as they usually are to me (hotel beds tend to be a bit firmer than what I like). They have a business center, wi-fi, a gym, the usual amenities. Truthfully, I can't comment on them that much since my mother and I were really only here long enough to drop off stuff initially - and after that we went right to bed so that we could get to the airport early the next morning. My biggest problem with the hotel is ultimately their lack of information about some of the amenities they offer - particularly related to the shuttle service. When I stayed here, it was for one night prior to my flying back home to the US. Since we had stayed in the middle of London for the past week, and we didn't want to walk around the city with our suitcases all day, my mother and I brought our stuff here during the afternoon. We planned to use the shuttle buses to get to the hotel, and then to head back to the Tube via the bus so we could enjoy one last evening in London. And this is a hotel that boasts on its website, "The hotel is perfectly placed for day trips to London's museums, shops and galleries." So we figured our plan was solid. Little did we realize that the shuttle buses cost something like 5 pounds per person, and I believe per trip (though I think there was a slight discount for buying a round trip ticket). As far as I can remember there was absolutely no warning about this cost in advance when our hotel was booked via a travel agency. As of my writing this review I don't see any notice about this on their website, either. Another thing to keep in mind is that the shuttle isn't a shuttle associated with this specific hotel - it's a service that works with multiple hotels. The result is that any commute you're planning on making won't be a speedy one. You'll need to plan on riding in a loop between multiple hotels and the airport. And you'll want to give yourself plenty of time to ride in to the airport - last thing you want is to have to rush to your flight after a long shuttle ride and a slow day at security. Again, as a hotel, this place is just fine. The hotel itself did its job and gave me a decent place to sleep for a night. But they definitely need to look into offering more information in advance to guests who plan on using their shuttle service. Normally I wouldn't focus on the shuttle so much, especially since it's not operated by the hotel itself. But as a hotel that's offering itself as a convenient place to stay for tourists and travelers (in an area where said tourists and travelers are dependent on shuttles and public transit) any and all information related to the shuttle is an extremely important part of anyone's experience here. And guests deserve to know in advance what they're getting into - and, more importantly, NEED to know to ensure they have enough cash on hand for their commutes.

The carpet and some furnishings can be dated, but the bathrooms are updated and everything looks clean. Bathrooms look updated, very meticulously clean. The food: the good news: we got in late, but luckily, they have a handful of dishes served 24/7. The food was decent, nothing special but nice. They deliver it to the room. Chicken club was good, and the chips were nice, though not super crispy. The bad news: I think the chicken wing portion was a bit small for $15. The bleu cheese wasn't great. I was charged 5 pounds for a "tray charge," which was confusing, because it's not listed on the menu and I certainly didn't need the tray. The spring rolls definitely have the frozen taste and just too sweet for me. They delivered two bottles of coke, but no bottle opener. We tried to open it ourselves on the side of the counter, and the glass broke, so just a bit frustrating. I called and they brought one right up, though, so lesson learned. (I just wish they'd been a bit kinder or even given an apology for the oversight as opposed to acting like we're asking for something extreme.) Overall, I'd recommend staying for sure.
