Location is very convenient to LHR. Free public bus (350 T) across the street will take you to Heathrow Terminal 5. Take the Piccadilly line to go to Terminals 1, 2 and 3, while Central London, stop at Hyde Park Corner, is within walking distance of Wellington Circle, Buckingham Palace and the London Eye - 30 minutes walk. Bed is comfortable, heat and A/C works great and the shower pressure is superb. Will definitely stay here again when I'm back for business or pleasure. read more

Been coming to this hotel for 15 years. Haven't been since before Covid. They've remodeled the rooms and bathrooms. The a/c is nice and cold. Nice soft king sized bed and lounge access. I skipped breakfast but will check it out tomorrow. I am still a fan of Marriott products overseas. read more

I am incredulous that a 400 room Sheraton Hotel has no mail slot, or offer to help with sending mail. I am an elderly man who walks with a cane, yet the hotel staff directed me to mail box over a half mile walk away in the dark. This is not the experience I would ever expect from a large chain, or a large respectable hotel. We have traveled to Bonvoy hotels this year to Amsterdam, Rome ,Porto, and Paris, and all of those hotels had mail slots for their mail. This might sound petty, but for someone who loves to write letters when I travel , this is completely inexcusable . How hard would it be????? I had to take a scary half mile walk in the dark to mail my letters, this is not acceptable from a large Sheraton Hotel !!! I need to be honest, I had a rough stay at this Sheraton. I'm really glad it was only for a night, however, overall it left me unable to recommend it. When I arrived, they weren't that busy and had 3 staff at the check-in counters. Yet, for whatever reason I had to wait about 20 minutes. I am not sure what was going on and would have been ok had they provided a recommendation, however, the best I got was one minute please. Once checked in, I asked to confirm they had my Marriott number on file because I couldn't find this stay on the app. They said yes, however, upon check-out they said it was not recorded. It was an easy fix, but a disappointing one as they didn't recognize my status. The hotel is a short drive to the airport and does have buses which can drop you off for a small fee, however, that small fee is in line with an Uber. I guess I shouldn't expect a discount, but worth pointing out that fact. I stayed on a Thursday and they had their weekly fire alarm test. It was announced and I understand it is a requirement - just worth noting. Otherwise, the rooms were still loud. I was on the 1st floor and could regularly hear planes coming and going. There was also a constant buzzing noise and when the guests in the room next to me took a shower that buzz got much louder. At least the A/C and wifi worked well. Staff at the bar were friendly, however, the meal was nothing to write home about. Overall a very disappointing stay with the Marriott brand. read more

The hotel has reasonable rates and is in close proximity to the airport. I was very impressed overall with the hotels amenities. My room was modern and comfortable. I had club lounge access and The hostess in the lounge was excellent. I had a breakfast and dinner meals at the restaurant which was very good. I will certainly stay here in the future. read more

We stayed one night. This hotel is conveniently close to the airport. The sofa in our room was dirty, so we put our luggage on it. We needed some extra towels and it took quite some time for them to arrive. This restaurant describes itself as The Masters of Meat. Dinner: I ordered a steak ciabatta that was described as sliced steak, rarebit sauce, and grilled onions. The steak was full of inedible gristle, i'm pretty sure that was just melted swiss cheese, it certainly was unlike any rarebit I've known. It was pounded thin and whacked a few times with a knife, certainly not trimmed and sliced. That was onion jam, not grilled onions and it was way too sweet. My chefs salad had almost no dressing. My wife had the chicken mangalore which was okay, the naan was more like slightly underbaked pita bread. Her tomato and red pepper soup was quite good. You pay for bread here and its pretty good. The roasted carrot appetizer was poor. Thin, barely cooked micro carrots and not many of them. The best part of that appetizer was the pomegranate seeds. The Hendricks and tonic from the bar was good. The sticky toffee pudding was okay too. Now for the continental breakfast: Fairly typical fare. The scrambled eggs had a strange fine curd texture like some sort of ricotta cheese. Yuck. The mushrooms were unwashed and gritty. Disgusting. The bacon was super salty, with a grey skin. The hash brown potatoes were so saturated with oil that they were partially transparent. The beans were very standard and probably the best item in the hot selections. They had a bowl of pineapple which made me happy. Cheese, meats, cereals, juices all quite typical. Bad scrambled eggs, gritty mushrooms, bad potatoes and super salty bacon do not make a happy meal, so I guess I chose badly; there were better choices in the fruit, yogurt, cereal and juice. I'm afraid McDonalds across the way might have been a more solid choice. read more

This hotel never dazzles but never is completely disappointing, either. On this visit, though, check-in was a long and arduous process. Not just for me but for everyone at the time (around 1330) - and it wasn't even a rush time. I was told I could enjoy a manager's reception and free breakfast at the club lounge - but that the club lounge was closed for renovations. So . . . Anyway - the hotel as undergone some recent renovations so my room was more modern and a bit cleaner than what I had been used to for years. The fitness room is not bad - plenty of cardio equipment is here to help you get moving. And to undo everything you just did in the cardio room - a few restaurants are conveniently located within walking distance. Again - not a bad place, but not great, either. read more

This hotel is about a 10 minute ride from the airport. They offer free breakfast and provided me free wifi during my stay. The hotel is a bit dated but it looks like they are remodeling as time progresses. My room was nicely updated. No issues during my stay and once again quite pricey (gov rate) for the convenience of being close to the airport. The rooms are comfortable and if you need to stay nearby the Heathrow airport give this place a try. read more

We paid for a room here so we could get the parking for the week. Driving up the hotel looks a little dated. Inside they have done a nice job though. Check in was easy. Room was nice and clean. And surprisingly the noise was low from the airplanes. We enjoyed the club lounge - which is actually on the first floor by the restaurant. Everyone was nice. Food was good. Hopped the Hoppa bus the next day and went to the airport. Returned a week later to get our car and go. I'd definitely do it again! read more

I'll just do an outline of pros and cons: + Found a £49.50 rate (US$86 total including taxes) on the hotel website. + Within the free fare bus zone (take Route 75/76 from the Central Bus Station at Heathrow; why pay £4 for the stupid Hoppa bus, besides the short walk required?) + Rooms recently updated and of a decent size for European standards. + Very friendly staff + 3-prong and 2-prong Euro plugs at the desk + Dollar/Thrifty Rent a Car on site. + Gas Station/Convenience Store and McD's with 24hr drive thru right across the street. + Good Chinese restaurant a 5 minute walk down the road (London Hong Kong, Bath Road at Hatch Lane). - No free Internet (for in-room wifi: £7.50 for1 hr, £15 for 1 day, up to £70 for 7 days). - Friendly staff works a tad slow, may be due to the crappy reception area. - Non-smoking rooms share hallways as smoking rooms. What's the point? - Only two stories... I like being up high. - Parking is expensive as hell (good thing I didn't drive!) - Automatic minibar, which means you can't use the fridge for your own purposes. Flying back from FRA to SFO via LHR on BA in F on miles e had to do an overnite in London. Since it was a fairly late arrival, I decided to stay close to the airport. I have SPG points so I thought a Starwood property close by would be ideal. Well, the cab ride to this airport hotel was 13 GBP. Upon arrival at about 9.40 pm the check-in took some time since the printer was not working. The staff was quite apologetic. I inquired about restaurants. Yes, but they stop serving at 10. Ok, we had a few minutes to run up to the room, drop off the bags, and make it back down with 5 mins to spare. Oh, no! We close at 9.30. The front desk doesn't know! Airport hotel! Restaurant closes at 9.30 pm!?! If this were a hotel 6 or something like that, ok. But for a Sheraton Airport Hotel, no. Compare the FRA Airport Shearaton. read more

This should be called a Four Points, not Sheraton! I knew this wasn't going to be a good hotel, just needed a cheap place for a night close to the airport... but honestly - I wasn't expecting it to be like this. Room: The rooms are beyond tiny (I was told I got upgrade to a suite, really?) The TV looks like it's from 1999 and the whole rooms just feels old, really old. Not up to standard for a sheraton. Lounge: Ok selection of breakfast, easy to grab something in the morning. Restaurant: Food was bad and overpriced, expecting overpriced, but the food was really bad. Location: Near the airport, but absolutely nothing around this place. Only a Mcdonalds across the street if you are desperate. At least the rooms are clean, avoid if you can. read more

Nothing spectacular about this property. It's an older property and it shows. The staff really makes this place great though. The main lobby area and bar area are very nice. The hotel is currently remodeling the SPG Members floor. I think once all of the remodeling is done this place will be nice. Rooms are basic. Beds aren't that comforts be to me and the room stayed very warm despite window being open in late Nov. bathrooms are tight and show age. Food in the bar is good with a nice varied selection. They also have a nice selection of beers and wines. If you only have a night or two to spend in the area this place isn't bad. The bus from airport is 5 BSP from driver and 4.50 from hotel. Taxi is a flat 15 Euro. The bus is easy but if you have a group a taxi or Uber might be best. read more

Ok it's a Sheraton but great beds, my biggest concern. Clean and comfortable nights sleep. This was great. The bus ride there was a rip off in my mind. They charge 5 lbs for the transit to the airport hotel. In the US this is a courtesy - I guess the Brits don't expect such things. So you pay money to wait forever to be picked up. The Sheraton is the first to drop off so that's good at night but in the morning.... You guessed it the first to pick up... So pay to stand wait, then rude an airport bus for 30 minutes.... After sending my review to SPG customer service, I was offered 6,000 SPG points and promised the property would be improved in the future. I would give them a good year or so before I would consider going back... It will take at least a year to get that place up to SPG standards. read more

Nice hotel and staff. Nothing special about the room--you get your drink amenities and bath tub, but unfortunately impressed by their wifi. I need to pay for standard things? 7pounds for Internet for an hour. But very American and European friendly as the power outlets are compatible for both. It's 4.5 pounds for a shuttle to the airport or 8pounds round trip. As you guessed, it's close to the airport and you can go to the city center to enjoy delicious afternoon tea or shopping in Picadilly. Not far from Big Ben and the parliament either, so make sure you stop for a day if you're planning for a short trip during a transit. It's a nice hotel for short connecting flights (and an airport hotel for that matter ) and 10 min away from John Lennon Airport. read more

We always stay at this superb hotel every time that we fly in or out of Heathrow Airport. The location is good. We always use the HOPPA shuttle service without any problems whatsoever. We don't hear any airplane noises once we're indoors. Their rates are reasonable. Every room is nicely decorated and has a good selection of toiletries. Good Internet service. We always request a queen-size bed and end up with a kind ... no complaints about that! The dining room and service is very nice. What's not to like? We'll be back the next time we're in England. read more

wow. this hotel is horrible. It is dated, the room is fine, but the service and facilites are poor. the club lounge is being renovated, thats fine. then given vouches for food and drink at the bar, also ok. thats where the good ends. there is a 14.285% increase in price for food items ordred from the bar as to your room. and yes, it is correct that ordering from the bar or restuarant as take away is MORE expensive that ordering delivery to your room. I wanted to walk around and figured I would order a pizza on my way up. the room menu states the margarita pizza is 10.50 pounds, but ordering in the bar I was upcharged 14.285% when i asked why, i was told that is was a service rather than delivery. ok hold up, i did the service, i saved the delievery which is more work than the bar keep and cook putting in box and handing it to me. i complained to the front desk on 8/2/18 and was told yes that seems out of place but please speak to the restaurant manager. i did, again it was agreed that this charge was unjustified and i was right but nothing could be done. this is poor service. I was told i was right, but who cares we got your money so go away. I made it easier by picking up the order and I got charged more. the fitness facitilies are terrible, machines are dated and no free weights. no sauna, no shower, basic facilites. I was very upset at the customer service when I pointed out a flaw and basically told to go pound sand. read more

Be aware that you do not book a wrong rate. I was searching for a hotel from July 2 to July 3 via kayak and got suggested the Sheraton, which I booked redirected from the kayak page on the sheraton page. The price was good and it stated "rate per night". When arriving i learned that i booked a wrong rate, becaus it was a "day use rate" meaning, i have no room over the night. This was indicated on the booking, however only in one short sentence in the whole terms, so you migth get easily misleaded. The front desk clerk and the assistant night manager were not helpful at all, the offered me a room but for a 4times higher rate, and of course i got charged the day use rate too. So when looking for a hotel - make sure you do not get a day-use rate from Sheraton, although you searched on a travel search engine for an overnight stay. read more

I used points to book this room, so I can't speak for the value, but overall we were very happy with our stay. Complimentary internet in the business center was useful for printing out boarding passes, everyone at the hotel was very nice, and the room was a decent size, for Europe. We were just here for one night, catching early flights the next day, so it's not like we were hanging out in the hotel very much. However, the time we spent here was enjoyable, it was clean, and even though the Hotel Hoppa bus cost 4 pounds to get to the airport, I thought it was worth it. I'd stay here again. read more

This is just your standard Sheraton hotel, which is a decent place to rest your head for an overnight layover in Heathrow. They get docked stars for not including free wifi and for non-drinkable faucet water (they only comp one bottle of water per room). The gym, however, is a nice touch if your into that sort of thing, which I am. And I give them points for including a kettle, tea and instant coffee in each room. read more

As I fly through London Heathrow Airport (LHR)quite frequently the Sheraton Heathrow Hotel is a home away from home. It's a Heathrow Bus Ride away from the LHR terminals for 4 Pounds each way. Once on the shuttle it's 10 minutes each way. The Sheraton Heathrow offers good amenities, but the main reason why I stay there is because of THE TERRACE Restaurant. I was quite surprised that during my hunt for the best Fish n'Chips in the UK it was found at the THE TERRACE within the Sheraton Heathrow. Nothing even comes close to their Fish N'Chips made from fresh Atlantic Icelantic Cod. I will always stay at the Sheraton when passing through LHR for connecting European flights just because of the Fish N'Chips. Overall the hotel's rooms are nice but like all hotels in London the internet is not cheap at 20 pounds a day and the gym is more of a cardio room. read more

After my flight was cancelled British Airways kindly gave me a free room with dinner, breakfast and free transportation. Unfortunately this hotel is not at all what you would expect from a Sheraton. The room and the bathroom were very outdated. There is no complimentary wifi. Dinner and breakfast were at the only restaurant at the hotel that only serves on buffet basis. There was a big selection of food. This hotel is well connected to the airport but if I had to pay I would probably opt for a more modern hotel. read more

When in London, having to stay by Heathrow Airport sucks in and of itself. One of the world's most iconic cities just 20 miles to the east and all I have is a view of a 747 waiting to refuel. Will try to keep my mindset re: the relative geography out of the review but be forewarned. That said, this hotel is lacking. A complimentary buffet breakfast is pretty standard in European hotels so they get no points from me on that count. Where they lose points is that the breakfast itself is pretty disappointing. Wide selection but cooked and tastes like a buffet. Coffee, by American standards is horrendous/horrific so I stuck to the tea and had coffee DTs for the duration of my stay. Room itself was large by UK standards and the bed and bath were fine. If you're just looking for a good night's sleep, this place does its job. Even in the dead of winter I managed to stay pretty warm. Noticed a lot of negative comments re: customer service and the staff. No such complaints here but also didn't have a lot of needs. No wait at check in or check out and everyone seemed nice. We ugly Americans have come to expect a free shuttle from terminal to any airport side hotel. That's part of the give and take one expects for having to smell jet fuel and staying at a hotel that's typically in the less desirable parts of most metro areas. No such luxury here. £12 to £15 cab ride to get here from Terminal 3. Given the 1.8 exchange rate to dollars on the day I was here anyway - this wasn't cheap. Two other options included a shared bus for a bit less or a free train ride to the central bus terminal to hop on a bus. Lugging bags around, this last option isn't all that appealing. If travelling to London, give yourself at least an hour. There's a bus stop that's a short walk away that takes you back to the central bus terminal as mentioned above where you can catch the tube to the city. With no delays, this will take you 45 minutes to an hour to get to Westminster as a point of reference. A cab will run £50 but its not really any quicker given the traffic situation going in and out of London. If you really want your Starwood points, there is another Sheraton by the airport. While I didn't stop in, I'm told the Sheraton Skyline (about 2 miles east on the same road) is a lot newer if nothing else at roughly the same price. If ever in the same "you have to stay by the airport" scenario, I'll check that out as an alternative. But if I had to plan this trip again - I would have stayed in town and commuted to the airport for my business meeting. read more

I visited this hotel for a 3 day conference. The conference center is nice and great decor, but the customer service leaves A LOT to be desired! I went to the restaurant to order a bowl of soup to go (in order to be on time for my class) and they told me they weren't allowed. "You have to call room service." What? So I have to pay 2 extra pounds to serve it to me? Ridiculous. I also visited the bar for lunch the next day, and got mildly rude service there too. Considering the price of a beer, around 6 pounds and soup for 7 pounds, I would expect much, much more. read more

Was traveling business class and British Airways parked us there after we missed our flight due to a delayed connection. I mostly agree with Johnny N.'s reviews and his list of pluses and minuses. It is very convenient to LHR airport, but the reception area is pretty tired and it can move slowly when a busload of people arrive to check in. I have had problems with the fire alarms going off at night, including my most recent stay (last week). I am not sure if people are pulling a prank or if there is something sensitive that triggers the alarm. Considering that I usually stay here to catch a morning flight out, it sucks to have your sleep interrupted by a false alarm. I am not one who can immediately go back to sleep after we are cleared to re-enter the hotel. I have only had one other hotel false alarm in many years of traveling, but I have had two at this hotel in 3 stays. read more

Stayed here in November 2015 to catch early flight out next morning. I have stayed at many of the hotels near Heathrow, including this one (Sheraton Heathrow) and the other one (Sheraton Skyline), and this is clearly one that is "average" or "below" in terms of facility. Set your expectations accordingly. With full knowledge of the scary stains on the floor, the construction, and the lack of upgrade rooms (I'm an SPG Platinum).. Why would I stay again? Price and convenience. The pre-paid price for this hotel was less than 50% of other hotels; it is convenient enough (the Hoppa bus is 15 minutes from the terminals), and the staff is generally very nice although sometimes inexperienced. It's your basic flop-house before the flight out the next day: the bed is good, soundproofing is OK (I'm pretty tired anyway), hot water works, water pressure is nice, and the breakfast is above average. You get what you pay for! read more

I stayed here for one night. It is conveniently located near to terminal 5, it was perfect for picking someone up from the airport. I booked the room on the day of arrival and it was well priced at £67. I booked the room using booking.com. I was travelling alone and stayed in a room with a queen sized bed. The room had good facilities and a bath. I was asked to leave a £50 deposit that would ensure I could have the express check out. This money was then retuned to me after checking out. There was a problem with the toilet in my room on arrival, I phoned down to reception and someone arrived to fix the problem within 10 minutes. There is an on site car park which is secure with cctv parking. I would recommend this hotel and definitely use it again! read more

If you need to spend one night here either flying in or out of Heathrow then do it but that's the max. A place to sleep. We were first given a room that smelled terribly of cigarette smoke in the non smoking room but we were quickly given a new room. Not much ambiance but if you just need to sleep then it will suffice. Facilities are a bit 80s and could do with a refurb (cracked tiles, worn fabrics) but nothing that would put me off of staying. Checking in and out took some time as there were lines for each. I wish I could give zero star to this hotel. I was in room and I checked in around 1:30 AM. It took a long time until they gave us our room. Around 4:30 AM a construction worker opened the door and came inside our room even though we had no disturb sign. He said he came to fix something and we said we never requested anything. He woke us and my child up. Then one hour later again a construction worked opened the door. We could not sleep at all. I talked to the manager more than ten times instead of assisting me he denied it. It will be a big mistake to go to that Hotel. Their service is horrible and you don't feel safe at all! read more

Clean and nice and really cheap. I decided to stay at the Sheraton near the airport since I have an early flight. After staying in a hotel in London at 4x the price, the Sheraton actually topped the experience even at lower prices. The hotel is pretty newly remodeled. Bathroom is very clean with modern fixtures. Big flat panel TV. The club room (should you have access) has free internet access and beverage with leather couches. Nice place to get some work done. Check in was quick and breakfast included. I checked in to this hotel cause I've been in other Sheratons before. They were classy and clean. This one is quite beaten up, it needs a mayor overhaul. The room was dark and the window just a better embrasure. The wifi which was over expensive had mayor connection issues. You would never be able to stay connected more than 10 min. When I left in the morning I tried to take one of the cabs outside. None of them wanted to take a credit card. As a hotel I wouldn't allow such cabs around my property knowing international travelers would arrive. read more
